Welcome, May! As you prepare for your visit to The Sweetest Place On Earth this month, please know that we are operating in accordance with guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and industry partners.
Hersheypark Now Open For Summer Season
The 115th season of Hersheypark Happy continues this summer with mild to wild coasters, classic family rides, new food offerings, Hershey Character appearances, and more.
Hersheypark is open for the summer season weekends in May (Friday through Sunday) with daily operations from Memorial Day to Labor Day, followed by September weekends. Tickets include three parks in one with rides and coasters (weather permitting), The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park with one million gallons of water (open May 29-September 6) and ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park.
Guests can save on 1-day tickets when they purchase online. For the first time ever, tickets purchased during this sale will be valid any 2021 public operating day through Jan. 2, 2022. Current 2021 Season Pass Holders can enjoy unlimited visits this summer as part of their year-long perks.
The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio Opens May 29
The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio will open to the public in the new Hershey’s Chocolatetown region on May 29, 2021. The all-new, full-service restaurant, bar and patio serves up fun, food and drinks year-round and does not require a Hersheypark ticket to dine.
The Chocolatier features past and present pieces from the Hersheypark ride collection, one-of-a-kind views of neighboring attractions, and a second-story patio and bar that provides panoramic views of Hersheypark. Guests can enjoy classic family fare with a fun spin and hints of chocolate, cocktails crafted behind a Carrousel-themed bar and a signature dessert menu filled with Hershey’s chocolate-inspired treats..
The Chocolatier celebrates the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, by continuing to bring people together for happiness, fun, and of course, chocolate.
Go Behind-The-Scenes at ZooAmerica
Have you always wanted to get an up-close look at the animals at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park? ZooAmerica is offering three unique tours this summer that guide participants through non-public areas and leave them with a deeper understanding of the animal world. Guests can choose from the After Hours Tour, Early Bird Tour or Photography Tour - all of which includes same-day admission to the zoo.
ZooAmerica is open daily this month from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on days when Hersheypark is open and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week when Hersheypark is closed. Entrance to ZooAmerica is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark when entered through the Hersheypark bridge during posted park hours.

Cheer on The Hershey Bears
The Hershey Bears hockey team is scheduled to play four home games at GIANT Center this month. Tickets are available online via Ticketmaster. Or, you can now cheer them on from home, as three games will be televised on FOX43 this month! Since capacity is limited due to COVID-19 protocols and restrictions currently in place, the Bears and FOX43 are excited to bring the action to those unable to secure seats. The following games are available to anyone in the region with an antenna, digital tuner, cable subscription, or streaming service that includes local channels:
- Sunday, May 2 vs. Lehigh Valley, 3 p.m.
- Saturday, May 8 vs. Lehigh Valley, 4 p.m.
- Saturday, May 15 vs. Binghamton, 1 p.m.

HERSHEY RESTAURANT WEEK THROUGH MAY 2
Hershey Restaurant Week is back for the 12th year this spring with special two- to three-course tasting menus. Menus will consist of fresh, seasonal dishes hand-crafted by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts’ (HE&R) award-winning culinary teams with prices ranging from $22-$38 per person.
This spring's event will offer dishes with new seasonal flavors, giving HE&R chefs the opportunity to feature new items that are often seen for the first time on a Hershey Restaurant Week menu. Guests can enjoy plates such as Charred Cauliflower Steak, Pan-Roasted Pennsylvania Chicken, Roasted Mushroom and Bresaola Flatbread, Strawberry Peach Crisp, and Cantaloupe Italian Ice.
