That’s our promise to you. Across our destination, the health and safety of our guests, team members, and community members has been and will always be our top priority. Throughout your visit, we want you and your family to enjoy all that Hershey has to offer knowing that our objective is to keep you healthy and happy. 

Following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Pennsylvania Department of Health and in collaboration with our industry partners at Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (owner of Houlihan’s Hershey) is working to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 by expanding and enhancing our rigorous cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection procedures above our already high standards. We have increased the number of hand sanitizer machines and will ensure social distancing is maintained between guests and team members. We are committed to increase team member training to reinforce how our team can take better care of you - our guests - but also themselves. 

For the safety of our guests and team members, all guests over the age of two must wear face coverings at all times, except while seated at their table. As this situation is ever-evolving, please visit this page often for updates on our operation and safety enhancements.

Preparing for your visit

We want you to enjoy all that Houlihan's Hershey has to offer knowing that our objective is to keep you healthy and happy and ask that you partner with us on simple steps before and during your visit. Here is how you can prepare for a delicious and safe experience at Houlihan's Hershey: 

Guest Experience

  • To ensure social distancing:

    • Follow signage throughout the restaurant to direct foot traffic.

    • The number of guests safely permitted at our restaurant will adhere to capacity guidelines to ensure social distancing.

  • Houlihan’s Hershey is open daily and also offers curbside pickup.

    • For guests who wish to dine at our restaurant:

      • Following mandates in place by state agencies, seating availability is limited.

      • Guests must call ahead to be placed on a seating list: 717-534-3110. Guests will be directed to wait in their vehicle or a location away from the restaurant upon arrival until they receive a text message notifying them that a table is ready and to proceed to the host stand inside the restaurant. Please note, calling ahead does not serve as a reservation.

      • Patio seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

      • Bar seating is not currently available, and alcohol can only be served with a food order.

      • To ensure we are able to safely and accurately accommodate all guests, we recommend anticipating 90 minutes for your meal time.

      • Please adhere to social distancing guidelines and heed the direction from our team members by maintaining 6 feet of space from other guests outside of your party at all times.

      • If you or any member of your party is sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home and do not visit.

    • For guests who wish to order curbside pickup:

      • Orders can be taken via phone (717-534-3110) or online at https://bit.ly/2K3Yb2p.

      • Upon arrival, the guest must call 717-534-3110. When the order is ready, a member of our team will safely deliver to the guest’s vehicle.

Employee Precautions

  • Team members have been thoroughly trained on the recommended precautionary steps from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Pennsylvania Department of Health to inhibit the spread of germs.

  • All employees must wear face coverings.

  • Team members will wear gloves when handling used food service items (e.g., clearing tables) and when removing garbage bags and disposing of trash. Team members will wash their hands after removing their gloves.

  • All employees are given hourly breaks for proper handwashing, as well as after contact with guests.

  • Team members are required to complete a COVID-19 screening, including temperature checks, to identify the presence of symptoms and reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure. In addition, team members have been instructed and are regularly reminded to not report to work if they have COVID-19 symptoms or if they come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has a COVID-19 test pending result.

COVID-19 WARNING

We have enhanced health and safety measures for our guests and team members. Guests must follow all posted instructions while visiting Houlihan's Hershey.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death and people who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Our company has always maintained high cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection standards, which meet or exceed established industry guidelines. With that strong foundation, we have introduced new enhancements that adhere to recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association.

Guest Experience

Do I need to wear a face covering?

  • Per the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and in accordance with an Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, face coverings are required for all guests over the age of 2 at all times during their visit, except while seated at their table.

Do you take reservations?​

  • Reservations are not currently accepted. Guests must call ahead to be placed on a seating list: 717-534-3110.
  • Patio seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What if there is a wait? Can I sit inside the restaurant or outside the restaurant on the bench near Devon Seafood + Steak?

  • Guests are not currently permitted to sit inside the restaurant or outside the door near the entrance of Devon. 

  • After calling ahead and upon arrival, guests will be directed to wait in their vehicle or a location away from the restaurant until they receive a text message notifying them that a table is ready and to proceed to the host stand inside the restaurant.

What if there is a storm while I am dining on the patio? Can I sit inside?

  • In the event of inclement weather, guests will be provided with their checks for prompt payment and containers for leftovers, then directed to their vehicles. Congregating inside the restaurant is not permitted.

Can I dine inside the restaurant?

  • Yes.

Can I sit at the bar?

  • Seating at the bar is not permitted.

Do you have a Happy Hour?

  • Happy Hour is not currently available.

Will Happy Hour prices be honored?

  • No, as Happy Hour is not currently available.

How are you keeping the restaurant clean and safe?

  • Across the restaurant, our company maintains high cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection standards, which meet or exceed established industry guidelines. Our teams rigorously clean public spaces several times daily. 

  • Single-use menus are being utilized.

  • Condiments and sauces will be served in portioned containers, sugar and sugar substitutes are available in single-use packets, and salt and pepper are available upon request. The salt and pepper grinders will be disinfected after each party departs the restaurant.

  • We have increased the number of hand sanitizer stations at the property. 

  • All guests over the age of two must wear face coverings at all times, except while seated at their table.

  • We have reduced capacity to allow for appropriate social distancing. Tables and chairs are spaced accordingly.

  • We use recorded messages, signs, floor markings, and other announcements to remind guests of physical distancing requirements.

  • We regularly remind guests and team members of health and hygiene and physical distancing requirements.

  • Team members are required to complete a COVID-19 screening, including temperature checks, to identify the presence of symptoms and reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure. In addition, team members have been instructed and are regularly reminded to not report to work if they have COVID-19 symptoms or if they come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has a COVID-19 test pending result.
