Hersheypark amusement park will kick off its 118th season later this month on March 29, 2024 - the earliest to date - with new coaster ride experiences and new entertainment offerings. 2024 tickets, Season Passes and resort stays are on sale now at the Best Price Of The Year through March 17, with tickets valid from March 29, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2025, in a year full of coasters, concerts, water park splashes and family fun.
Spring Weekends will mark the return of coaster riding season, followed by daily operations from May 23 (Memorial Day weekend) through Labor Day with more summer hours, expanded Hersheypark Halloween seasonal event offerings, including more scares during Dark Nights immersive haunt experience, and iconic Hersheypark Christmas Candylane holiday attraction experiences.
The Hotel Hershey, an Official Resort of Hersheypark, has just announced The Villas at The Hotel Hershey elevated luxury accommodation experience, with all-new exclusive amenities. This luxury offering represents the first phased expansion in 15 years, with the first Villas opening on Memorial Day weekend 2024.
New Coaster Experiences at Hersheypark
Coaster fans are sure to enjoy new ride experiences on two iconic coasters - Comet roller coaster and Skyrush roller coaster - this spring.
Comet, the oldest continuously operating coaster at Hersheypark, features a new out-of-this-world design and new trains for the next generation of riders.
Skyrush is upgrading its flight to first class with all-new seats and restraints for spring. Passengers will board Skyrush from a reimagined station platform featuring an all-new paint scheme, lighting effects and custom soundscape. Skyrush was ranked as one of the top 10 coasters in the United States by USA TODAY 10Best in 2023. The investment in the high-thrill attraction will provide coaster lovers with added comfort while experiencing the adrenaline rush they know and crave.
2024 also marks anniversaries of popular attractions, including 50 years of the family-friendly Trailblazer coaster, 25 years of the Wild Mouse and Music Express attractions, and 15 years since the “Seaquel” expanded The Boardwalk at Hersheypark water park with the wave pool, lazy river and cabanas.
New Hersheypark Entertainment and 50 Years of Hershey Characters
2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Hershey Characters delighting generations of guests. Hersheypark is the only amusement park where visitors can meet and greet with their favorite Hershey brands. In celebration of this milestone, Hersheypark has announced a show celebrating the Characters, making it the first summer entertainment offering in Chevrolet Music Box Theatre since 2019.
Guest-favorite Hershey Characters will also make daily appearances at Hershey’s Hangout performance area across from the HPGO building. Parkgoers can snap a selfie with Hershey’s and Reese’s characters during their spring visit, with more summer experiences to come.
The Aquatheatre also welcomes three new marine animals with special needs - Harbor seals Scooter and Satara and a female California sea lion, Reese - who will appear in all Our Friends From The Sea performances in 2024.
Best Price Of The Year on Hersheypark Tickets and Season Passes
Through March 17, guests can save more than 40 percent on one-day tickets and enjoy savings on two-day tickets to Hersheypark when purchased online with the current Best Price Of The Year offer. Tickets purchased during this sale will be valid on any 2024 public operating day from March 29, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2025.

The Hotel Hershey Announces The Villas at The Hotel Hershey Expansion
In the first phased expansion in 15 years, The Hotel Hershey has announced The Villas at The Hotel Hershey elevated luxury accommodation experience, with all-new exclusive amenities. Formerly the Woodside Cottages, these premium accommodations will take luxury and Hershey hospitality to new heights in two phases.
In the first phase, the Hotel’s 10 existing cottages with 48 rooms will be reimagined as The Villas at The Hotel Hershey, slated to open this Memorial Day Weekend with refreshed furnishings and unmatched amenities, including the sweetest Hersheypark experience and an all-new exclusive concierge lounge. Construction will then begin in summer 2024 on nine new Villas slated to open in late 2025, adding 50 new sleeping rooms and even more luxury as part of this Official Resort of Hersheypark.
Starting this summer, Villa guests will enjoy the sweetest Hersheypark perks, including Hersheypark admission for each day of their stay, a dedicated Hersheypark shuttle stop and a One-Day Hersheypark Fast Track pass, allowing guests to skip the regular line once on each participating attraction.
