Hersheypark Announces All-New Seats and Restraints for Skyrush
New First-Class Coaster Ride Experience Available For Thrill Seekers This Spring
Hersheypark amusement park is upgrading the Skyrush roller coaster flight experience to first class with all-new seats and restraints this spring. Passengers will now board Skyrush from a reimagined station platform featuring an all-new paint scheme, lighting effects and custom soundscape. The investment in the high-thrill attraction will provide coaster lovers with added comfort while experiencing the adrenaline rush they know and crave.
Weather permitting, the new Skyrush upgrades will be available for guests to see and experience when Hersheypark opens for its 118th season in exactly one month on March 29.
One of 15 coasters at Hersheypark, Skyrush climbs 200 feet into the air before flying downhill at 75 mph as it heads into four high-speed turns and five zero-G airtime hills for a thrilling ride experience.
Skyrush was ranked as one of the top 10 coasters in the United States by USA TODAY 10Best in 2023.

Guests can save more than 40 percent on 1-day tickets to Hersheypark when purchased online with the current Best Price Of The Year offer through March 17, 2024. Tickets purchased during this sale will be valid on any 2024 public operating day from March 29, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2025.
