The Hotel Hershey Announces The Villas Expansion
Elevated Luxury Accommodations to Open in Two Phases Starting Memorial Day 2024
In the first phased expansion in 15 years, The Hotel Hershey has announced The Villas at The Hotel Hershey elevated luxury accommodation experience, with all-new exclusive amenities in Hershey, Pa. Formerly the Woodside Cottages, these premium accommodations will take luxury and Hershey hospitality to new heights starting Memorial Day Weekend 2024.
The expansion marks the second-largest investment in the 90-year history of The Hotel Hershey. The Villas will open in two phases with the highest level of guest service and accommodations at The Hotel Hershey, adding 9 new Villas with 50 luxury rooms by 2025.
A Serene Retreat with Unmatched Amenities
In the first phase, the Hotel’s 10 existing cottages with 48 rooms will be reimagined as The Villas at The Hotel Hershey - slated to open Memorial Day Weekend 2024 with refreshed furnishings, unmatched amenities, all-new exclusive concierge lounge, and the sweetest Hersheypark experiences.
Construction will then begin in summer of 2024 on 9 new Villas to add 50 new sleeping rooms. Slated to open in late 2025, The Villas will offer even more luxury as part of the Official Resort of Hersheypark.
Elegant Furnishings
The Hotel’s 10 existing cottages will showcase new flooring and furniture, plush bedding, and new branded in-room amenities when they reopen as The Villas at The Hotel Hershey this summer. Guests will have the option of booking individual bedrooms with private outdoor entrances. When guests reserve entire four- or six-bedroom Villas, they also have the option to enjoy a multi-functional great room with cathedral ceilings, fireplace, sweeping views, private outdoor entrance, microwave and wet bar with refrigerator.
All-New Villas Concierge Lounge
Villas guests can start and end their day in the Concierge Lounge, an all-new, exclusive amenity that will be introduced in phase 1 of the expansion. Guests can access the lounge by using their key card from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily and receive:
- Continental breakfast
- Grab-and-go snacks and fountain drinks
- Evening hors d’oeuvres with beer and wine plus desserts prepared by the Hotel’s award-winning culinary team
- Exclusive Hershey character appearances and s’mores roasts
Other enhanced amenities at The Villas include:
- Exclusive check-in
- Dedicated Concierge at the Villas Lounge to assist guests with any requests
- Access to make preferred spa and dining reservations at The Hotel Hershey
- Access to make golf tee times at Hershey Country Club
- Door-to-door transportation to other Hershey properties
- VIP early access to the Outdoor Pool Complex during the summer season
Sweetest Hersheypark Experience
Villa guests will enjoy the sweetest Hersheypark perks, including Hersheypark admission for each day of their stay, a dedicated Hersheypark shuttle stop and a One-Day Hersheypark Fast Track pass, allowing guests to skip the regular line once on each participating attraction. Each person included in the Villas reservation will receive one Fast Track pass.
History of The Hotel Hershey
Opened by chocolatier Milton S. Hershey in 1933, The Hotel Hershey is one of the finest Historic Hotels of America and a longtime recipient of the Forbes Four-Star Award and the AAA Four-Diamond Award. Known for its refined elegance, signature service and abundant amenities, this 276-room property situated high atop the town of Hershey is home to three full-service restaurants, premium retail shopping, a historic cocktail lounge, signature chocolate spa, indoor and outdoor pools, family-friendly resort activities, an outdoor recreation complex, and more. The Hotel Hershey has offered its premium Woodside Cottages accommodations featuring upscale furnishings, larger bedrooms, marble bathrooms and native stone hearths for 15 years. They were introduced in 2009 as part of the Hotel’s last major expansion to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
