Easter Fun Throughout Hershey, The Sweetest Place On Earth

Planning a visit to Hershey, PA this Easter? Whether you're in town for a day or staying for the weekend, you'll find plenty of sweet experiences throughout our destination.

Enjoy the last weekend of Springtime In The Park 

Hersheypark is open Easter weekend for the last weekend of its Springtime In The Park event. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17, guests can enjoy a variety of attractions from thrilling coasters like Skyrush, which turns 10 this year, and sooperdooperLooper which turns 45, to family-friendly rides like the Ferris Wheel celebrating 25 years. Tickets also include photo opportunities with Hershey Characters outside Chevrolet Music Box Theatre and visits to ZooAmerica when accessing the zoo from inside Hersheypark during posted park hours. 

Plus, don't miss out on new spring treats throughout the park, from a Kissing Tower King Size Shake at Simply Chocolate to a Lemon Raspberry Warm Ice Cream Sandwich at Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor. Easter-themed treats, including a Carrot Cake Cupcake and Chocolate Bunny Cake Pops, are exclusively available through Easter weekend at The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen.  The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is also featuring new seasonal items and desserts, including a Spring Garden Flatbread, Pinwheel Cake and Summer Peach Milkshake.

Easter Fun at The Official Resorts of Hersheypark

Guests staying at one of the Official Resorts of Hersheypark can expect a weekend filled with Easter-themed family fun. The Hotel Hershey offers a packed activity schedule from Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17, including a variety of Easter crafts and an Easter Egg Bunny Trail with Easter eggs and treats. Other guest favorite activities, such as s'mores roasts, glow putting, Hershey Character appearances and chocolate bingo, are also available.

Guests staying at Hershey Lodge can enjoy activities, including duck races at the pool, springtime chocolate bingo, photos with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt and more.  And campers at  Hersheypark Camping Resort can look forward to Easter crafts, a coloring contest, and an Easter egg hunt for multiple age groups throughout the weekend. Restaurants at The Hotel Hershey and Hershey Lodge will also be open for dining on Easter. Visit their websites for hours, menus and reservations.

Spring Zoo Visits

A visit to the zoo is the perfect family activity for a beautiful spring weekend. ZooAmerica is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Easter weekend for guests to explore the wild of North America. Visitors may also get the chance to see a new bull elk named John Henry, who arrived at ZooAmerica from Elk County Elk Farm in mid-March. 

Entrance to ZooAmerica is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark when entered through the Hersheypark bridge during posted park hours. ZooAmerica Pass Holders can enjoy unlimited year-round visits to the zoo and 2022 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders get into the zoo for free, too. 

Entertainment & Hockey at GIANT Center

Guests looking for entertainment will find it at GIANT Center. On Friday, April 15, multi-platinum rock band Shinedown takes the stage with special guests The Pretty Reckless and DIAMANTE as part of their “The Revolution's Live Tour.” The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at HersheyEntertainment.com and Ticketmaster.com.

On Sunday, April 17, fans can cheer on the Hershey Bears hockey team as they take the ice against the Providence Bruins in one of their last home games of the season. The game starts at 5 p.m. Watch as the Bears push for a spot in the 2022 Calder Cup Playoffs. Tickets can be purchased at HersheyBears.com

Easter Bunny Photos at Hershey's Chocolate World

From creating your own candy bar to taking a Hershey's chocolate tour ride to enjoying a 4D chocolate movie and more, there's so much to do at Hershey's Chocolate World. On Easter weekend, guests can add Photos with the Easter Bunny to their itinerary. From April 8-17, guests can visit the Easter Bunny alongside their favorite Hershey Characters. Photos are available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 8; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 16; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

A Spring Cookie Decorating Workshop is also available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Easter Sunday. Guests can design and decorate egg-shaped and bunny-shaped cookies either in the HERSHEY'S Workshop or take a kit to go. 

Easter Sunrise Service & Spring Blooms at Hershey Gardens

Welcome Easter by attending a free non-denominational service by the Hershey Ministerium in the Seasonal Display Garden at Hershey Gardens from 6:30-8:30 a.m. on Easter morning. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. 

Guests can also enjoy early spring blooms on display throughout the 23-acre walk-through botanical display garden. Keep an eye out for colorful displays of thousands of tulips, including 25 new cultivars, which should be in bloom soon. And don't forget about the indoor, tropical Butterfly Atrium featuring 600 butterflies from around the world! Hershey Gardens is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Easter weekend. Easter-Themed Chocolate Labs at The Hershey Story

A visit to The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue, is a great way to learn about the life and legacy of our founder Milton S. Hershey, the town he created, and the lives he touched. Guests visiting on Easter weekend can also enjoy 45-minute Easter-themed Chocolate Lab classes at the museum, which explore the distinctive qualities of chocolate through playful, hands-on experiences and interactive demonstrations. During these classes, guests can try their hand at chocolate pouring and decorating, and of course, taste their take-home chocolate creations. Classes offered throughout the weekend include Egg-citing Chocolate Bark, Chocolate Bird Nests, Marshmallow Bunny Tails and Spring Bar.
