ZooAmerica Welcomes Two New Wolves
1-Year-Old Female Wolves Joined the Gray Wolf Pack This Summer
ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is pleased to welcome two female wolves, Freya and Hazel, as the newest additions to the gray wolf pack! These beautiful 1-year-old sisters were successfully introduced to brothers Twister and Husker on July 2.
The wolves reside in the Northlands region of ZooAmerica. Guests can tell them apart by the color of their fur. The females have black fur with gray and silver accents, while the males have white fur and black accents. As the wolves continue to get acquainted with their newly formed pack, the females can be seen flirting and chasing the males.
Guests visiting ZooAmerica may also catch a glimpse of three new Canada lynx kittens that were born in mid-April. This is the first successful litter of Canada lynx born at ZooAmerica in the 17 years that lynx have been captivating the hearts of Zoo guests in The Sweetest Place On Earth. Read more about them here.
ZooAmerica is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Labor Day. The Zoo is included with admission to Hersheypark when entered from inside the Park.
