Daily Animal Activities Return to ZooAmerica This Summer
Back to your regularly scheduled Zoo programming… ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park in Hershey, Pa., today announced that daily animal activities will return this summer. The Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 5, with special feeding and training sessions for guests to watch every day of the week, weather permitting! Take a look at the schedule below.
11:00-11:30 a.m. - Meat n' Greet
Location: At each of the animal habitats listed below
Join zoo educators and naturalists alongside American predators. Visitors may witness a special enrichment activity or training session with these large and small carnivores. Please note that animals are subject to change.
Monday – Mountain Lion
Tuesday – Wolves
Wednesday – Great Southwest Mammals
Thursday – Black Bears
Friday – Marten and Lynx area
Saturday – Mountain Lion
Sunday – Black Bears
2:30-3:00 p.m. - Tortoise Graze
Location: Between the prairie dog and pronghorn habitats
Tortoises and turtles all love their time in the sunshine! Visit a different-shelled reptile each afternoon as they graze on the grass, bask in the sun, or race each other to the nearest delicious dandelion flower.
4:30-5:00 p.m. - Keeper Corner
Location: Mountain lion, prairie dog and elk habitats
Zoo guests can stop by Big Sky Country to meet the zookeepers and chat about species found on the prairie. They will learn about the individual animals and observe a feeding or training session.
Various Times - Animal Encounters and Exhibit Talks
Location: Varies
Guests are encouraged to stop by the Admissions desk on the date of their visit to view the daily schedule of animal encounters and exhibit talks throughout ZooAmerica.
The daily summer activities are included with admission to ZooAmerica this summer. Regular admission for guests ages 9-61 is $15 plus taxes and fees. Admission for juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ is $13 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free.
Entrance to ZooAmerica is free to all ZooAmerica Annual Pass Holders and Hersheypark Season Pass Holders.
ZooAmerica admission is also included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark only by accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Please note that ZooAmerica and Hersheypark hours vary. Guests interested in visiting ZooAmerica separately can purchase a daily admission ticket.
