ZooAmerica to Host Discovery Weekends in January 2024
Free January Admission For Kids With Purchase Of Regular Ticket
Families looking for a fun activity to beat the winter blues and cabin fever should consider a weekend visit to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park this month.
The Zoo will host Discovery Weekends on Jan. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28, 2024. Visit each weekend in January to learn about how animals use all of their senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch!
As part of the winter programming, each weekend will feature unique themes for guests to learn about the North American animals that call ZooAmerica home. Here's the full schedule:
- Jan. 6-7: Sound (look for a word Scramble worksheet)
- Jan. 13-14: Smell & Taste - guests can search for cut-outs of animals to make their own
- Jan. 20-21: Touch - sensory room in Woodlands Classroom to explore
- Jan. 27-28: Vision - make birdnoculars and receive a passport to find animals throughout the zoo.
And a special offer for all of January - kids ages 8 and under receive free admission with the purchase of a regular or senior ticket any day in January. The special offer is available online or at the Admissions building for visits through Jan. 31.
The Zoo is open daily this winter. Zoo hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Current ZooAmerica Pass Holders can enjoy unlimited year-round visits to ZooAmerica. 2024 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders also receive free Zoo admission.
