"Wild Winter Adventure" Program Returns to ZooAmerica in December 2021

Registration is Open for Sessions Geared Towards Children in Grades K-5

Calling all parents of young children! If you're looking for a fun, educational program for your little one this winter, Wild Winter Adventure at ZooAmerica is a great choice. Designed for children in grades k through 5, the three-hour program will teach participants about the survival skills that North American animals use in the cold winter months.

Wild Winter Adventure is jam-packed with fun and educational activities. Children will explore the Zoo, get up-close to certain animals with live encounters, help with animal enrichment activities, make a craft and enjoy a snack. As a bonus, the group will take a walk over the bridge to Hersheypark to see all nine of Santa's reindeer who made a special stop from the North Pole for Christmas Candylane.

Wild Winter Adventure will be held at ZooAmerica on December 18, 19, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2021. Parents can register their children for either the morning session from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or the afternoon session from 1 to 4 p.m. Sessions are still available on select days. The regular cost is $55 per session with a special rate for ZooAmerica Pass Holders. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.

Plan a Visit This Winter

ZooAmerica is open daily this winter with the exception of Christmas Day. Winter is a great time to visit the zoo as many of the North American animals in the outdoor habitats are more active when the temperature drops.

Admission to ZooAmerica is included with a Hersheypark ticket only by accessing the zoo through the Hersheypark bridge during posted park hours; hours vary. Separate paid admission is also available at the zoo’s off-street entrance. ZooAmerica Annual Pass Holders and Hersheypark Season Pass Holders are free.
