Hello, April! The Sweetest Place On Earth has a lot of exciting things happening across the destination this month. Keep reading to see some of the highlights. 

 Hersheypark  Opens For Spring Weekends

Coaster riding season is officially here, as Hersheypark opens for Spring Weekends. The largest amusement park in Pennsylvania welcomes guests over eight weekends from March 29, 2024, through May 19, 2024, as well as Fridays in May, for its spring season.

More than 50 family-friendly rides and thrilling coasters are open, weather and maintenance permitting. Thrill seekers are in for a real treat with two new coaster ride experiences debuting on Comet and Skyrush this spring. Comet features a new out-of-this-world design and new seats for the next generation of riders, while Skyrush upgraded its flight to first class with all-new seats and restraints.

Tickets also include photo opportunities with Hershey Characters and Our Friends From The Sea shows with the seals and sea lions.

Dine At The Chocolatier

The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is open daily in April with fun events offered throughout the month. Guests visiting Hershey, Pa., during the week or Hersheypark on the weekends can stop by for lunch or dinner to enjoy delicious menu items. Weather permitting, the second-story outdoor patio will be open for guests to enjoy a new limited menu. Reservations are highly recommended. 

Don’t miss out on the fun at The Chocolatier this month with Trivia and Bingo! Gather your crew and join us every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. for fun trivia games while enjoying $10 house margaritas and epic taco food specials in addition to our entire menu. On April 10 and April 24, guests can participate in Bingo from 6-8 p.m. and enjoy $8.95 shareables like BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos & Soft Pretzel Dippers, and a $10 Old Fashioned.

“Party For The Planet” At ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily in April from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a special “Party for the Planet” Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Guests of all ages can enjoy animal encounters and animal enrichment feedings throughout the event. 

ZooAmerica is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark only by accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Please note that ZooAmerica and Hersheypark hours vary. Guests interested in visiting ZooAmerica separately can purchase a daily admission ticket online or at the Zoo Admissions building.

Cheer On The Hershey Bears

The Hershey Bears have clinched a spot in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs! Hershey’s journey to defend its Calder Cup championship title and add to its legacy of an AHL-best 12 Calder Cups will start later in April. Before then, the Bears will play five home games at GIANT Center, including sweet promotions such as the final Hersheypark Pass Night of the season on April 2, where every fan in attendance receives a free 2024 Hersheypark ticket, good for one-day admission through June 30, 2024! 

• April 2: Bears vs. Lehigh Valley Phantoms; Hersheypark Pass Night
• April 12: Bears vs. Lehigh Valley Phantoms; Fairview Golf Course Logo Chip Night (first 4,000 fans)
• April 14: Bears vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins; Belco Kids Goalie Mask Night (first 1,000 fans 12-and-under)
• April 17: Bears vs. Charlotte Checkers; Berks Dollar Dog Night
• April 20: Bears vs. Charlotte Checkers; Fan Appreciation Night, Jerseys Off Our Backs Night, and Player Awards Night 

A schedule for the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs will be released in April. Fans are encouraged to check HersheyBears.com for opportunities to help cheer the Bears on to another Calder Cup title.

Hersheypark is hiring for its 2024 season! Individuals interested in working in The Sweetest Place On Earth can apply, interview and get hired on the spot at a Hiring Event on Tues., April 16 from 4-6 p.m. at Milton's Ice Cream Parlor at Hersheypark.
