Sweet Hershey, PA Treats to Celebrate National Dessert Day: 2021

THIS HOLIDAY WAS MADE TO BE CELEBRATED IN HERSHEY THE SWEETEST PLACE ON EARTH

It's hard to avoid indulging while you're in Hershey, PA. But, why would you even WANT to avoid it? Hershey is the "town built on chocolate" and has a sweet history. Between our restaurants and Hersheypark, you're sure to find a treat to please your palate on National Dessert Day - Oct. 14, 2021.

THE HOTEL HERSHEY

Restaurants at The Hotel Hershey are in the process of rolling out their fall menus, which means some new seasonal sweets, courtesy of the Hotel's amazing pastry team, are now available for you to enjoy on National Dessert Day! At The Circular, the Hotel's flagship restaurant, indulge in the sweet flavors of fall with dishes such as Apple Brittle Bread Pudding, Chai Spiced D'Anjou Pear, Cranberry & Orange, and even a Sweet Potato dessert. Or, for a classic chocolate dessert in Hershey, try the Tasting of Chocolate for Two, featuring dark chocolate mousse, milk chocolate and Kahlua cremeux, and white chocolate cheesecake.

At Trevi 5, a modern Italian restaurant, you'll find a contemporary twist on Italian desserts, including Cannoli Cheesecake, Panettone Bread Pudding Tart, Three Nut Raspberry Torte and Buckwheat Apple Cake.

Sweet treats can also be found at Chef's Market (open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.) And if you like your sweets with a bite, try one of our Signature Hershey's Martinis at Iberian Lounge.

HERSHEY LODGE

There is no shortage of dessert options at the restaurants at Hershey LodgeFrom the Skillet S'mores Fondue and Warm Chocolate Chip Almond Cookie Sundae at Fire & Grain to the Warm Blueberry Bread Pudding at The Bears' Den all the way to specialty dessert beverages, like the Sticky Bun Milkshake at Cocoa Beanery, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth.

For those 21 and older, save some room for a dessert cocktail after dinner at Fire & Grain, such as the Chocolate Brandy Alexander or the Double Irish Coffee. Cheers!

 

The Chocolatier, Milton's and The Sweeterie

Hershey's Chocolatetown, the newest region at Hersheypark, is overflowing with delicious dessert offerings at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + PatioMilton’s Ice Cream Parlor and The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen. Located inside Hersheypark Supply Co., these three eateries are open on National Dessert Day and are accessible without a Hersheypark admission ticket.

At Milton's, enjoy new seasonal ice cream flavors, including Pumpkin Cheesecake and Butterscotch Butter Pecan. Or, indulge in the new Fall Donut Sundae - one scoop each of pumpkin cheesecake, salted caramel graham cracker, and butterscotch butter pecan ice creams topped with a glazed sweet potato donut, caramel sauce, whipped cream and a cherry!

Next door at The Sweeterie, you'll find a collection of mouth-watering confections, including the Kissing Tower Mousse Cake, Chocolatetown Cheesecake, Toasted S'mores Pop, and other specialty cake pops and cupcakes.

And, if you're enjoying a dining experience at The Chocolatier, be sure to save room for signature desserts, such as The Chocolatier Cake, Chocolate Fun-due, Triple Chocolate Brownie Mousse Cake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer Cake. Yum!

HERSHEYPARK In The Dark

Haven't had enough? Continue the National Dessert Day celebration on weekends through the rest of October at Hersheypark In The Dark! The event kicks off on Friday, Oct. 15, and runs for three weekends through Sunday, Oct. 31 with your favorite rides and coasters, chocolatey trick or treat adventures, festive Hershey Character experiences, and of course, sweet fall treats!

Some of the highlights include Pumpkin, Monster and Halloween Peanut Butter King Size Shakes; Pumpkin King Size Donuts topped with pumpkin glaze, vanilla icing, whipped cream and fall sprinkles; Pumpkin Funnel Cake; Pumpkin Funnel Cake Sundae topped with pumpkin cookie dough ice cream, caramel, whipped cream and crushed graham cracker; and Traditional or Cookie S'mores with Hershey'sReese's or Kit-Kat.
