Reese's Fan? You’ll Love Reese’s Cupfusion!

6 Sweet Details About the All-New Interactive Gaming Ride at Hersheypark

If you are a lover of chocolate and peanut butter, you will want to make your way to Hersheypark amusement park this summer to experience the all-new interactive gaming ride, Reese’s Cupfusion. With only one week until the attraction opens to the public, we want to unwrap the last few details about the ride experience. Let's take a look at six things you need to know about Reese’s Cupfusion.

1. You will be assigned an important mission.

As a rider on Reese’s Cupfusion, your mission is to become an agent, protect the factory and ensure the world is never deprived of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. At the heart of the factory is the legendary Crystal Cup, which collects and amplifies the love of chocolate and peanut butter to create Cupfusion Energy that powers the factory. You must protect the Crystal Cup from intruders under the guidance of Commander Cup, a new character introduced this summer. Are you up for the mission?

2. There are six ways to play.

Riders will power the factory and stun intruders by aiming their amplifier at interactive fixed-based targets, motion-based targets, small media screens, large media screens, individual "Easter Eggs" and cooperative group play, resulting in bonus points. You can try to beat your score and improve your agent ranking with every ride to become a Reese's Legend in the Hall of Fame. Game on!

3. You should pick up your free HPGO wristband before entering the ride.

Riders on Reese’s Cupfusion and Whitecap Racer in The Boardwalk at Hersheypark (which also opens on May 25) are given the latest technology to track their scores and view a free ride photo through an all-new guest platform called HPGO. The platform connects a wristband with the Hersheypark app and seamlessly integrates with the enhanced Fast Track program. You can pick up your wristband at the HPGO kiosk right outside of Reese’s Cupfusion.

4. You can grab sweet gear from the Agent Supply Shop.

If you want to take home a sweet souvenir, look no further than the new Agent Supply Shop located as you exit Reese’s Cupfusion. You can pick up a Commander Cup mug, Candy Corn hat, fun tee shirt, magnets, and more. There will also be an endless supply of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, of course!

5. You may notice that The Misfits have taken over the area.

Mint the Merciless and the League of Misfit Candy have taken over the area around Reese’s Cupfusion. You should check out the newly dubbed Misfit Bug and Minty Bees kiddie rides. You can also challenge family members or friends at the new Commander Cup Factory Game. And Commander Cup herself will be available for that post-ride selfie!

6. You will want to try the new desserts inspired by the ride.

If you crave chocolate after riding Reese’s Cupfusion, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with new dessert offerings inspired by the ride. Located right in the Founder’s Way area of the Park is Simply Chocolate ice cream shop, home to the award-winning King Size Shakes. There are three new King Size Shakes for summer that pay homage to Reese’s Cupfusion. Think: chocolate peanut butter, mint chocolate and dark chocolate with gummy worms. Sounds delicious, right? You can also indulge in a Fundae - a funnel cake bowl filled with chocolate peanut butter ice cream and topped with Reese’s candies, peanut butter syrup and whipped cream - from Founder’s Way Funnel Cake. Then once you are fueled up, you can ride Reese’s Cupfusion again and try to beat your score!

Reese’s Cupfusion joins more than 70 attractions, including 14 mild to wild coasters, at Hersheypark this summer. Be sure to check out the Everyone Pays Kids’ Price offer. Guests who purchase by June 30, 2019, can save more than 30% off tickets and enjoy the sweetest thrills of the season for $46.95. We hope to see you soon!
