Based on how tall guests are (age is not a factor), they are assigned a Hershey's brand category and a set of rides fit for them to experience when they come to Hersheypark. Hershey's Miniatures and Kisses
At Hersheypark, being under 36" means you are a Hershey's Miniatures and between 36-42” means you belong to the Hershey's Kisses height category. There are 28 rides Miniatures can enjoy and 42 sweet rides for Kisses that range in thrill level and are perfect for creating lifelong memories! 1. Carrousel
- One of the most iconic rides in the park has a new home in Hershey's Chocolatetown! A ride on our 103-year-old Carrousel is the best way to start off a fun-filled day at Hersheypark.
2. Ferris Wheel
- Guests of every height category can enjoy the beautiful views of Hersheypark from nearly 100 feet!
3. Starship America
- Experience the thrill of blasting off with your whole family and enjoy a trip to outer space on Starship America.
4. Twin Turnpike
- Beep beep! Guests of all height categories can get behind the wheel or catch a ride in a sports car and cruise along on Twin Turnpike - Speedway!
5. Sandcastle Cove
- Sandcastle Cove has summer fun for all your little ones! At Sandcastle Cove your kids can splash, play, and explore.
Reese's and Hershey's
At Hersheypark anyone who is between 42-54” falls into either the Reese’s or Hershey's height category. Reese's guests can enjoy 58 rides throughout the Park when visiting, while Hershey's can create sweet memories with each of the 66 exciting rides that match their height category! 1. Comet
- Comet is the oldest coaster at Hersheypark. It has been the key ride across generations and has helped create a lot of Hersheypark Happy memories.
2. Laff Track
- Laff Trakk coaster is the first indoor, spinning, glow-coaster in the United States!
3. Coal Cracker
- There's no better way to cool down on a hot day than with a ride that's full of splashes and an exciting plunge!
4. sooperdooperLooper
- Experience the first-ever looping coaster on the East Coast! After your ride, don't forget to pick up an "I survived the sooperdooperLooper" shirt.
5. Whitecap Racer
- See how fast you can slide on the largest mat racing slide in the world!
Twizzler and Jolly Rancher
Guests taller than 54 inches belong to the Twizzler or Jolly Rancher height group. There are 52-58 amazing rides that you don’t want to miss out on, taller guests may not be able to ride some kiddie rides and only some allow a tall supervising companion accompanying a smaller guest. 1. Candymonium
- Candymonium is the tallest, fastest, longest, and sweetest coaster in Hersheypark.
2. Great Bear
- Feel the roar while soaring through the air!
3. Storm Runner
- Storm Runner gives the word fast a whole new meaning.
4. Breakers Edge Water Coaster
- Rocket through thrilling splash-filled hills, intense open-air FlyingSAUCER turns, and high-speed tunnels on our fun water coaster inside The Boardwalk At Hersheypark.
5. Fahrenheit
- 97 degrees and falling fast! Fly through a memorable course of loops, corkscrews, dives, and plenty of thrilling airtime after a 121-foot lift hill with a 97-degree drop.
Additional Ride Information for Guests
Guests with a cast or brace
- Casts are not permitted on Candymonium, Hershey Triple Tower, Skyrush, and sooperdooperLooper. There are signs posted at each ride indicating the restrictions for that ride. In most cases, your own discretion is suitable for whether or not you wish to ride a certain ride.
Guests accompanied by service animals
- Service animals are welcome at Hersheypark and ZooAmerica. Service animals are limited to dogs and miniature horses that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of the individual with a disability. Although service animals are discouraged from riding any attraction, service animals will be permitted on the Monorail, Carrousel (chariots only), Kissing Tower, Dry Gulch Railroad, Ferris Wheel, Sunoco Classic Cars, and they will be permitted to enter The Boardwalk attractions up to the water’s edge.
Hand-held infants
- Guests should check every Hersheypark attraction entrance or the additional restrictions and accessibility section under each ride listed online and in our app for information. Each ride will list if hand-held infants are not allowed. Select rides include Monorail, Carrousel (chariots only), Dry Gulch Railroad, Ferris Wheel, Shoreline Sprayground and others based on restrictions. A hand-held infant is a child who is unable to walk to the attraction independently or maintain independent seated postural control.
Guests with medical conditions or expectant mothers
- Signage will be posted at each ride to indicate the ride's health recommendation. Guests can also look at our current safety and accessibility guide to see restrictions for each attraction. Guests may want to consult with their own doctor prior to riding.
