Discovery Weekends at ZooAmerica

Looking for a fun winter activity for the family? The beginning of the year is a great time to visit ZooAmerica as many of the North American animals are more active in winter. 

Plus, Discovery Weekends are back so kids ages 8 and under will get into the Zoo for FREE on Saturdays and Sundays this month with the purchase of a regular or senior ticket. 

Trolls LIVE! at Hershey Theatre

The Trolls LIVE! Show will make its debut at Hershey Theatre on Jan. 22-23, 2022, with five interactive performances. 

The world of the Trolls comes alive in this interactive, story-rich musical celebration of everything the Trolls love – singing, dancing, rainbows, glitter and plenty of hugs. The extravaganza utilizes the latest in scenic projection, puppetry and media technology, and features a host of special effects and interactive surprises. Trolls LIVE! includes two acts with an intermission and will enchant both children and adults alike with its popular Trolls show-stopping songs, as well as introduce audiences to all-new electrifying Trolls music and choreography.

Dining in Hershey’s Chocolatetown

There’s no sweeter place to enjoy lunch, dinner, dessert or drinks this winter than in Hershey’s Chocolatetown. Take a look at some of the special winter food offerings here.

• The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily in January 2022 (hours subject to change). Guests can enjoy classic family fare with a fun spin and hints of chocolate for lunch or dinner. Plus, there’s a signature dessert menu filled with mouth-watering Hershey's chocolate-inspired treats. Those 21 and older can also stop by for Happy Hour at The Chocolatier on Monday-Thursday from 4-6 p.m. with discounts on drinks and apps. 
• New this January - Bites With Coco The Bear: Enjoy a FREE kid’s dessert with the purchase of a kid’s meal on Thursdays in January from 6-8 p.m. Plus, hang out with Coco, The Official Mascot of the Hershey Bears!

Savory options are also available as part of a shareable menu.

• The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen is open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily in January 2022 (hours subject to change). Guests can choose from a curated collection of mouth-watering confections including chocolate-dipped treats, decadent desserts, signature hand-crafted fudge, and more.

Cheer on the Hershey Bears

Join the Bears Nation at GIANT Center for some Hershey Bears hockey this month and get ready to chant "B-E-A-R-S BEARS, BEARS, BEARS, WOO!" with us. Plus, mark your calendar for GIANT Teddy Bear Toss Night on Jan. 22 when all fans are encouraged to bring new, stuffed items to toss onto the ice as the Bears score their first goal. All items collected will be donated to local charities.
