See the Animals at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park
If you’re looking for a fun, cold-weather activity for the family, bundle up and head to ZooAmerica to see dozens of North American animals this winter. ZooAmerica is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in January-March.
It’s a great time to visit as crowds are often smaller and many of the animals in the outdoor habitats like gray wolves, river otters and snowy owls are more active when the temperature drops.
Special in February 2022
Every Friday in February, guests can enjoy 50% off regular and junior/senior admission for Fantastic Fridays. Tickets must be purchased at the Admissions Building to redeem the savings; please note the offer is not valid online.
Also, in February, zoo staff will host chocolate-themed animal enrichment activities on Saturdays. Guests can watch zoo naturalists give chocolate-themed treats to certain animals every Saturday in February at 1 p.m. Each weekend will feature a different animal*.

Grab a Bite to Eat in Hershey’s Chocolatetown
There’s no sweeter place to enjoy lunch, dinner, dessert or drinks this winter than in Hershey’s Chocolatetown at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio, Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor and The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen. Take a look at some of the special winter food offerings here.
The Chocolatier
- Open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily in January-March 2022 (hours subject to change)
Guests can enjoy classic family fare with a fun spin and hints of chocolate for lunch or dinner. Plus, there’s a signature dessert menu filled with mouth-watering Hershey's chocolate-inspired treats. Those 21 and older can also stop by for Happy Hour at The Chocolatier on Monday-Thursday from 4-6 p.m. with discounts on drinks and apps. It’s a sweet time to grab a cocktail at the Carrousel-themed bar.
Milton’s
- Open on Saturdays-Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in January-March 2022 (hours subject to change)
Guests can indulge in custom house-made ice cream creations crafted by expert Ice Creamologists complete with Hershey’s candy toppings, decadent sauces, and more. Savory options are also available as part of a shareable menu.
The Sweeterie
- Open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily in January-March 2022 (hours subject to change)
Guests can choose from a curated collection of mouth-watering confections including chocolate-dipped treats, decadent desserts, signature hand-crafted fudge, and more.
