Meet Our Growing Team At Hershey Country Club

With fresh faces joining our team and the return of our seasonal employees, Hershey Country Club (HCC) is ready to kick off a new season of opportunity for all members and guests this summer. We are happy to welcome our growing team and provide a sneak peek into what HCC has in store for everyone visiting the Club.

Meet Our Newest Team Members 

We’re delighted to introduce the newest additions to the HCC team who have joined us in various departments across the Club. From membership to culinary and catering, their expertise and contributions are an integral part of making HCC a premier destination. New additions to our team include:

  • Kevin O’Brien, General Manager
  • Keith Broadwater, Director of Membership 
  • Rachel Strzelecki, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and Recreation
  • Chelsea Scodari, Sous Chef
  • Alisa Karsko, Assistant Catering Manager 
  • Noah Drexler, Aquatics Coordinator 

Four interns will also be joining the recreation and food & beverage operations.

Endless Summer Fun With Our Recreation Team 

Our Food & Beverage and Recreation Manager, Katie Lammando, and Head Tennis Professional, Peggy Long, will be hosting fun and engaging activities for members of all ages. With the tennis courts open, members have already taken advantage of the weekly tennis and pickleball programs our seasonal staff oversees. 

Additionally, our fully staffed team of lifeguards and servers eagerly await the opening of the HCC outdoor pool and Splashes, our full-service poolside restaurant, on Saturday, May 25. We look forward to connecting with our members on the courts and by the pool!

The East and West Course Is Ready to Play

Sara Muldoon, Director of Golf and Matt Malick, Director of Golf Courses & Grounds at HCC, have had a great time seeing our members and staff back on the courses since the opening of the West Course in March. The golf team encompasses a talented group of individuals in various roles including golf professionals, course rangers, Golf Shop and golf cart attendants. 

50 new and returning turf maintenance staff are performing routine procedures to keep our flourishing courses in perfect condition for golfers. We begin our second aerification process on the East Course on Monday, May 6 and complete the project on Wednesday, May 8.

Savoring Delicious Dishes at Hogan Grill

Executive Chef Jo Koller and Sous Chef, Chelsea Scodari, will introduce a new seasonal menu in Hogan Grill this June. The culinary team is crafting innovative dishes that capture the essence of the season, elevating the exclusive dining experience for our members. Adding to the excitement, the Hogan Grill patio has opened for members to dine outside, unwind by the firepits and revel in the gorgeous views of our courses.

New Golf Offerings For Resort Guests 

Our Teaching Golf Professional, Jeff Batchelor, curated an engaging schedule of lessons and clinics for guests of the Official Resorts of Hersheypark. Those staying at The Hotel Hershey or Hershey Lodge are invited to book a lesson during their visit. Complimentary golf clubs are provided and guests can book a tee time with a discounted club rental fee when they register. Lessons available for resort guests include: 

  • Early Bird Clinic  
    • Two days of golf lessons are scheduled on Wednesdays or Friday mornings. A discount is provided when you register for both days. 
  • Two-Day Group Instruction School
    • Designed for double-digit handicappers, groups of three to six golfers can improve their skills in full swing, short game and putting. This school can be scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at guests’ convenience.
  • Couples Golf Clinic

This three-hour golf school is a great opportunity for couples looking for a crash course in all major golf skill areas. This clinic can be scheduled during regular hours of operation.
