How to Make a S’mores Jar – The Sweetest Part About My Trip to Hershey

Visiting Hershey, Pennsylvania for the weekend is one of the most enjoyable experiences. Especially for chocolate lovers. There is so much fun at Hershey for you to enjoy and it really is “The Sweetest Place on Earth.” I was introduced to so many of the sweetest foods and desserts I hadn’t ever even heard of. Hershey has some of everything and can satisfy any sweet tooth. I was in a sweet heaven. Even my massage was done with chocolate!

Tasting a little bit of everything over the weekend was a delicious way to experience Hershey, but one treat in particular quickly became my favorite dessert of all time. The Sweetest part about my trip to Hershey was my visit to Fire & Grain Restaurant at Hershey Lodge.

I can’t get enough of the Hershey’s S’mores Jar. Imagine that written in all caps so you can feel my passion. Mine was perfectly served by the fire(place) and this S’more loving Girl Scout approves!

The best part about sampling the menu at Fire & Grain Restaurant before it opened to the public was our group had the pleasure of meeting Chef Mike Cappelli, and he took the time to share how he creates this tasty dessert for guests.
