Hersheypark Voted Top 10 Best Theme Park in the U.S.

Only Park in Pennsylvania to Earn Prestigious Award from USA TODAY 10Best

Hersheypark was named one of the 10 best theme parks in the country in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice travel award contest. The 121-acre amusement park in Hershey, Pa., is the only Pennsylvania-based park to earn a spot on the top 10 list of readers’ favorite theme parks nationwide. Hersheypark earned the #10 spot on the list.

A panel of experts partnered with 10Best editors to pick the initial 20 nominees out of more than 400 amusement parks in North America. The top 10 winners were determined by a popular vote after four weeks of digital voting. Thank you to our fans for voting for us!

Three Parks in One

Hersheypark is open daily this summer from May 26 through Sept. 5, 2022. Tickets include three parks in one with the rides, a water park and a zoo. Guests can also snap a selfie with a Hershey Character and see seals and sea lions during performances from Our Friends From The Sea in the 50-year-old Aquatheatre at Hersheypark later this summer.

Rides and Attractions

Hersheypark offers a wide range of family-friendly rides like Mix’d Flavored By Jolly Rancher all-new family ride and the Ferris Wheel, which turns 25 this year; more than 20 kiddie rides interspersed throughout the Park; 15 coasters including Jolly Rancher Remix reimagined boomerang coaster opening May 28; and other thrill attractions.

An Entire Water Park

The Boardwalk at Hersheypark water park is open from May 28 through Sept. 5 and celebrating 15 years. It is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day with 16 water attractions and one million gallons of water, including a lazy river, wave pool, water coaster, racing water slides, different splash areas and more.

11-Acre Walk-Through Zoo

Park-goers can take a break from the thrills at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, an 11-acre walk-through zoo included with a Hersheypark ticket only by entering through the Hersheypark bridge during public operating hours.

Everyone Pays Kids' Price

Guests can save on 1-day and 2-day tickets when purchasing online with the current Everyone Pays Kids’ Price offer. Tickets are valid on any 2022 public operating day through Jan. 1, 2023.
