Hersheypark Prepares Skyrush Roller Coaster for 10th anniversary season

It's a sure sign that Springtime In The Park is near when the roller coasters at Hersheypark are craned back onto their tracks, usually in mid-March following a busy off-season of maintenance work. 

Earlier this year, we shared a behind-the-scenes look at the off-season maintenance work completed on Skyrush, which turns 10 in 2022. Our team was on-hand for the Skyrush cars being lifted by massive cranes back onto the track in preparation for its 10th anniversary season. Check out the footage we captured below.

Hersheypark will welcome guests for another year of coaster riding starting in April with the Springtime In The Park event. In addition to mild to wild coasters and family-friendly rides, tickets include photo opportunities with Hershey Characters outside Chevrolet Music Box Theatre and visits to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park only by accessing the zoo through the Hersheypark bridge during posted park hours.

Guests can save more than 35 percent on 1-day tickets when purchased online with the current Best Price Of The Year offer by March 31, 2022. Tickets purchased during this sale will be valid on any 2022 public operating day from April 2, 2022, through Jan. 1, 2023. 

2022 Hersheypark Season Passes are also available for purchase with four monthly payments through March 31, 2022.
