Hersheypark Named One of Top Eight Amusement Parks for Halloween

Seems like the holiday of Halloween has really grown, both in popularity and events.

Back in “my” childhood days, all we did was Trick-or-Treat in our own small neighborhood. Today many amusement parks open for the season and offer an array of scary or family-friendly events.

Matt Sulem, Editor of TheDailyMeal.com, researched the Halloween holiday offerings and came up with his list of The Top 8 Amusement Parks Who Do Halloween Right.

Hersheypark in Hershey, PA was included in the list, the only park in the Northeast and the only park who hosts a family-friendly, non- scary event.

Matt talks about Hersheypark In The Dark which includes Treatville, a Halloween-themed village where children 12 and younger can safely Trick-or-Treat, and Creatures Of The Night, a nocturnal visit to the more than 200 animals who make their home at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park.
