Enjoy the First Coaster Rides of the Season at Hersheypark

Hersheypark amusement park kicks off its 118th season on March 29, its earliest opening to date, with new coaster riding experiences and endless family fun during Spring weekends. Weather permitting, guests visiting throughout Easter weekend will have the first chance to enjoy new ride experiences on Comet roller coaster and Skyrush roller coaster. Comet, the oldest continuously operating coaster at Hersheypark, features a new out-of-this-world design and new trains, while Skyrush is upgrading its flight to first class with all-new seats and restraints for spring. 

The 2024 operating year marks milestone anniversaries for 12 family-friendly rides, roller coasters and water attractions at Hersheypark, including Trailblazer celebrating 50 years, Tidal Force celebrating 30 years and Storm Runner celebrating 20 years. 

Tickets also include photo opportunities with Hershey Characters and visits to ZooAmerica when accessing the zoo from inside Hersheypark during posted park hours.

Hersheypark will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31. All rides are weather permitting, and a reminder that the water park doesn’t open until Memorial Day weekend.

Spend Your Easter Getaway at a Hershey Resort

With so much to do in Hershey, Easter is the perfect opportunity for an overnight getaway. Guests of The Hotel Hershey, Hershey Lodge and Hersheypark Camping Resort can celebrate with Easter-themed resort activities throughout the weekend, including egg hunts, Easter Bunny visits, Easter crafts, and more fun activities like chocolate bingo and s'mores roasts.

Entrance to ZooAmerica is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark when entered through the Hersheypark bridge during posted Park hours. ZooAmerica Pass Holders can enjoy unlimited year-round visits to the zoo, and 2024 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders can get into the zoo for free, too. 

See the Magic of Disney On Ice at GIANT Center

The fan-favorite Disney On Ice: Into the Magic skates into GIANT Center with matinee and evening performances throughout Easter weekend. Hosts Mickey and Minnie will bring audiences on an expedition across raging seas, snow-covered mountains and the marigold bridge in this action-packed extravaganza. The show features beloved characters from Disney's “Moana,” “Frozen,” “Coco,” “Beauty and the Beast" and more. 

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday, March 29; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 30; and 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, March 31.

Relax With A Spa Day at MeltSpa by Hershey 

Indulge in a day of relaxation over Easter weekend at the spas in Hershey, Pa.! The Spa At The Hotel Hershey and MeltSpa by Hershey offer one-of-a-kind chocolate spa treatments and sweet seasonal collections that make for a tranquil spa day. Easter Fun at Hershey’s Chocolate World

There's a new bunny in town at Hershey's Chocolate World! Get in the springtime spirit with special activities over Easter weekend, including a visit with the all-new Reester Bunny, inspired by the beloved Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. 

The Reester Bunny is available for photos on select dates through Easter, including Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Guests can also enjoy a free chocolate tour ride to see how cocoa beans became world-famous Hershey's Chocolate or take home a sweet souvenir by shopping the endless amounts of chocolate and limited-edition treats. Additional paid attraction experiences, including a chocolate bar-making factory and chocolate tasting theatrical experience, are also offered.

Easter Sunrise Service and Spring Blooms at Hershey Gardens

Welcome Easter by attending a free non-denominational service by the Hershey Ministerium at Hershey Gardens from 6:30-8 a.m. on Easter morning. There is no admission fee before 8 a.m.

Guests can also enjoy early spring blooms on display throughout the 23-acre walk-through botanical display garden. And don't forget about the indoor, tropical Butterfly Atrium featuring hundreds of butterflies from around the world! Hershey Gardens is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Easter weekend.

Easter-Themed Chocolate Labs at The Hershey Story Museum 

A visit to The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue, is a great way to learn about the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, the town he created and the lives he touched. Guests visiting on Easter weekend can enjoy 45-minute Easter-themed Chocolate Lab classes at the museum, which explore the distinctive qualities of chocolate through playful, hands-on experiences and interactive demonstrations. During the classes, guests can try their hand at chocolate pouring and decorating and, of course, taste their take-home chocolate creations. Classes offered throughout the weekend include Egg-citing Chocolate Bark, Chocolate Bird Nests, Marshmallow Bunny Tails and Spring Bar.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit.
