Hersheypark offers a wonderful lineup of activities that every member of thee family can enjoy. Whether you’re into rides, holiday lights, music, or food, Hersheypark is the place to be on New Year’s Eve!

HERSHEY LODGE

The Hershey Lodge is the place to be this New Year’s Eve! Start a new family tradition by ringing in the new year with an indoor carnival complete with games, rides, entertainment and a balloon drop at midnight all right at the Hershey Lodge.

Make the last few days of 2018 memorable ones by booking the Hershey Lodge’s New Year’s Eve Package. The 2-night minimum package includes a full dinner buffet, a special turn-down gift, admission to Hershey Sweet Lights, plenty of resort activities, and the carnival.

The carnival will take place from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Dec. 31 in the Great American Hall, Chocolate Ballroom, Confection Hall and the Cocoa Suites. Activities include rides, strolling entertainers, a magic show, teen arcade, music room, and new this year, an Enchanted Train ride for the Lodge’s youngest guests.

You can also register for additional activities upon check-in, including a wine and chocolate pairing, chef demonstration classes, cookie decorating, a magic show and more.

THE HOTEL HERSHEY

Maybe you want to ring in the New Year at The Hotel Hershey® .The Hotel Hershey is the place to enjoy a sweet evening celebration complete with a grand dinner and dessert buffet, family entertainment including a magic show, music, and, of course, the countdown to 2019.

ZOOAMERICA

Spend the last day of the year at ZooAmerica and visit with an array of North American animals that thrive during the cold weather months. The Zoo opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 4:40 p.m..

HERSHEYPARK

Hersheypark is the place to be New Year’s Eve for a final chance to enjoy the 35th season of Christmas Candylane. The park is open from noon to 5 p.m. Enjoy more than 45 rides, including six roller coasters, seasonal food offerings and magical light displays.

HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD ATTRACTION

After your afternoon at Hersheypark, keep the fun going with a stop at Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction.  New Year’s Eve activities will be going on from 4 to 9 p.m. including hourly countdowns.

HERSHEY SWEET LIGHTS

Before heading back to the resort , hop in the car and enjoy more than 600 holiday light displays through two miles of wooded trails at Hershey Sweet Lights, open from 5 to 10 p.m.

DOWNTOWN HERSHEY

Downtown Hershey has an array of activities from 11 a.m. through midnight. Since 2005, Hershey New Year’s Eve has delighted guests with a roster of free events culminating with the annual Hershey’s Kiss raise at midnight. The Hershey Story – The Museum on Chocolate features “bubble-wrap stomps” at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m., weather permitting, on the patio. Young revelers can ‘make some noise’ with the Hershey’s Characters. The First United Methodist Church features live entertainment, food and games from 7 to 10 p.m. Culinary vendors arrive near Chocolatetown Square at 9 p.m. with a variety of food selections. At 10:30 p.m., the main stage welcomes Steve Augeri, former lead singer of Journey, the popular rock band with notable hits like “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Faithfully.”

The countdown to 2019 begins at 11:55 p.m. when the iconic Kiss is raised three stories above Hershey from the historic Press Building. At midnight, a stunning fireworks display welcomes in the new year!
