2. Visit Hersheypark 

After a long winter, Hersheypark will open this spring for its 118th season on March 29 - the earliest to date. Enjoy eight fun-filled weekends of rides, coasters, Hershey Characters, King Size Shakes and so much more!

New this spring, thrill seekers can embark on new ride experiences for two iconic coasters - Comet and Skyrush

  • Comet, the oldest continuously operating coaster at Hersheypark, features a new out-of-this-world design and new seats for the next generation of riders. 
  • Skyrush is upgrading its flight to first class with all-new seats and restraints. Passengers will board Skyrush from a reimagined station platform featuring an all-new paint scheme, lighting effects and custom soundscape.

Tickets include photo opportunities with Hershey Characters, live shows in the Aquatheatre at Hersheypark and visits to ZooAmerica when accessing the Zoo from inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. All rides are weather permitting, and a reminder that the water park doesn’t open until Memorial Day weekend.

3. See The Animals At ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily this spring for guests to visit over 200 animals native to the North American region. Explore the numerous habitats of this 11-acre wildlife park and be greeted by animals such as bears, alligators, big cats, snakes, otters and many more. The Zoo hosts Toddler Tuesdays throughout March, where guests can enjoy quality time with their little ones. The program features a self-guided activity and something fun to take home.  Moms, dads, siblings, grandparents and friends are all encouraged to attend!

 ZooAmerica will also host its annual Party for the Planet on April 20 to celebrate Earth Day, during which guests can witness animal encounters and participate in fun animal enrichment activities. 

Entrance to ZooAmerica is free to all ZooAmerica Annual Pass Holders and Hersheypark 2024 Season Pass Holders. ZooAmerica admission is also included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark only by accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. 4. Eat Ice Cream At Milton's  Ice Cream Parlor

Warmer temperatures in Hershey means ice cream season is upon us! There is no better place for ice cream than Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor in Hershey’s Chocolatetown. Expert Ice Creamologists will craft custom creations from 100% local dairy house-made ice cream, Hershey's candy toppings, decadent sauces and more.

5. See A Live Show

7. Cheer On The Hershey Bears 

The Hershey Bears have clinched a spot in the 2024 Calder Cup playoffs! The AHL’s most decorated franchise has an exciting lineup of home games and promotional nights at the GIANT Center this spring as playoffs begin. On April 2, the Hershey Bears play the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for Hersheypark Pass Night, where all fans in attendance will receive a 2024 Hersheypark ticket, valid for one-day admission through June 30, 2024. Other promotional nights include Berks Dollar Dog Night on April 17 and Fan Appreciation Night on April 20, where fans will receive a scratch-off card upon entry for a chance to win a variety of prizes. Come support our hometown hockey team as they defend their Calder Cup title!

8. Visit Hershey  Gardens 

What better way to embrace the new season than visiting 23 acres of beautiful blooming plant life? Hershey Gardens is home to 13-themed gardens, seasonal displays, and an assortment of flowers, shrubs, and trees for guests of all ages to enjoy. The spring seasonal display will include thousands of tulips of every color once the tulips reach peak bloom. Guests visiting with kids can immerse themselves in the Children’s Garden and Butterfly Atrium. Or get up close and personal with crawling creatures inside the Conservatory’s Zoology Zone

9. Play Golf At Hershey Country Club

Those staying at an Official Resort of Hersheypark can schedule a tee time at one of the award-winning golf courses at Hershey Country Club. Each course (East Course, West Course and Spring Creek) provides a unique playing experience geared toward varying skill levels. Need to sharpen up your skills before teeing off? Head over to the practice facility and take advantage of the driving range, practice tees, pitching area and putting greens to work on all aspects of your game. 

The East Course is open year-round, and Spring Creek is scheduled to open on April 1. Stay tuned for the reopening date of the West Course.
