Golf in Hershey PA

As seen on NEPAMOM.com

My kids are big golfers and while summer may be winding down, if you ask my son, now is the perfect time to hit the links and play some golf. Courses are in good shape, weather is cooling off and there is just something peaceful about golf courses during the fall. Years ago, when we lived in Hershey we belonged to the Hershey Country Club and it is still one of my son’s favorite places to Golf in Hershey PA when playing in golf tournaments. While the Hershey Country Club is private and accessible only to members, guests of The Hotel Hershey and Hershey Lodge also have the privilege of golfing at this awesome and historic facility.

Milton Hershey opened Hershey Country Club in 1930 on the twin principles of sporting excellence and refined luxury and that rich tradition continues today. Ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top 50 resorts in the US, the Club features two spectacular 18 hole private courses, the East Course and West Course.

Hershey became famous for Golf when Ben Hogan won his first professional tournament here, the 1938 Hershey Four-Ball. The Club’s touring pro from 1941 to 1951, Ben also won the 1941 Hershey Open.
