ZooAmerica Offers Special Winter Programming in December 2025
Registration Open for Wild Winter Kids Adventure and Wild Winter Adult Camp
ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park welcomes the winter season with special programming for all ages in December, including the return of the popular Wild Winter Adventure program for children in grades K-5 and the Wild Winter Adult Camp for ages 18+.

Wild Winter Adventure Program
December 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 | 8:30-11:30 AM or 1-4 p.m.
Wild Winter Adventure is an educational program jam-packed with fun and engaging learning opportunities for children in grades K through 5 to beat the holiday hibernation. During the 3-hour program, participants will explore the Zoo while learning about how each North American animal survives in the cold weather. They will also get up close to animals during live encounters, participate in an enrichment activity, make a craft and even enjoy a snack to fuel up for more fun.
Plus, participants will walk across the bridge into Hersheypark amusement park to visit the Mary N. Bright Airfield, where Rudolph and his friends are resting in Hangar 96 before their big flight. Santa has entrusted the ZooAmerica staff to take special care of all nine of his live reindeer inside Hersheypark during the Christmas Candylane seasonal event through Jan. 4, 2026.
The single-session registration for Wild Winter Adventure is $75 per person. Current ZooAmerica Annual Pass Holders or Hersheypark Season Pass Holders receive a special Pass rate of $70 per person. Each person must be pre-registered and prepaid to participate. Space is limited. Children must be dropped off at a designated area in the Admissions Building.
Wild Winter Adult Camp
December 13 and 14 | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
On the heels of a successful adult summer and fall ZooCamp, ZooAmerica will also offer a Wild Winter Adult Camp again this year. Campers ages 18+ will participate in an animal enrichment activity, get up-close to North American wildlife during live animal encounters and visit the reindeer inside Hersheypark.
Wild Winter Adult Camp is $75 per person. Current ZooAmerica Annual Pass Holders or Hersheypark Season Pass Holders receive a special Pass rate of $70 per person.
