Your guide to Chocolate-Covered February in Hershey, PA

It’s no secret that we love chocolate in Hershey The Sweetest Place On Earth. But did you know we have a whole month dedicated to the sweet treat? Chocolate-Covered February is our month-long, town-wide celebration of all things chocolate, and it starts in just 17 days!

Chocolate-Covered February offers enticing, yet informative events and activities for every member of the family. As always, there is something for everyone in Chocolate Town, U.S.A.

New events for 2015 include:
Hershey’s Hot Chocolate Pajama Party at Hershey Lodge (February 21 and 28)
This event is perfect for families as children will enjoy sipping hot chocolate and chocolate-flavored teas, as well as a chocolate-infused children’s buffet! Each child will create their own decadent treats dipped in warm chocolate. The event wraps up with a chocolate-themed story, and kids are encouraged to dress in their pajamas! The Hershey’s Hot Chocolate Pajama Party begins at 5:30 p.m. and will end at approximately 7 p.m.

Chocolate Dessert Journey at Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction (every Saturday and Sunday in February)
If you’re having trouble – like us – deciding which delicious dessert to enjoy, Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction has you covered! Travel through Chocolate World and sample unique homemade desserts at each stop.

Rainforest Adventure at The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue (Saturdays and Sundays, February 7-22)
Trek through a rainforest setting to discover the origins of chocolate! Along the way, adventurers will experience the steps of chocolate-making long ago. Discover the mysterious hieroglyphs made by the ancient rainforest dwellers and use them to write your own name. Guests will also receive a special treat to take home!

Even our internally-acclaimed Chef Cher Harris, Executive Pastry Chef at The Hotel Hershey, helped bring Chocolate-Covered February to life this year. She used tempered chocolate to craft the really cool, innovative logo. This is the first time we have ever done something like this! Harris’ creation will be featured in advertisements; web and print materials and across social media channels managed by Hershey, PA. Here are some behind-the-scenes shots of her work:
