Women's Golf Month At Hershey Country Club
June is an exciting time for Hershey Country Club (HCC), as we celebrate Women’s Golf Month!

Women's Golf Day
On Tuesday, June 4, we celebrated Women's Golf Day, a special day recognizing all female players making breakthroughs in the sport. We took to social media to share our sincere gratitude for Sara Muldoon, our Director of Golf, and the programs she provides to new and returning female players. Since 1995, Sara has made exceptional contributions to the Club, elevating the member experience and inspiring us all to hit the greens. She became a PGA Member in 2001. In 2019, she was honored as the PGA National Merchandiser of the Year. Her leadership in this industry inspires female golfers of all ages and skill levels, and we are eager to grow our community at the Club.
Women's Member-Guest Tournament
Coinciding with Women’s Golf Day, we hosted our largest golf event for ladies, the Women’s Member-Guest Tournament. On Friday, June 7, 66 women paired up in a better ball of partners competition. Our golf professional staff held putting and driver competitions on Hole 15 and Hole 10 on West for players to win golf-themed prizes. In traditional HCC fashion, the tournament follows a special theme each year. This year, players and staff dressed up in their best polka dot and pearls attire to match the Putts, Polka Dots and Pearls theme. Congratulations to this year's winners!

Women’s Golf League
The Women’s Golf League (WGL) kicked off its season in May. In previous years, HCC held two separate leagues for women of different skill levels, including a 9-hole Club and an 18-hole Club. In 2019, those groups merged into one league. Although our WGL continues to allow players to play a 4-hole, 9-hole or 18-hole round, merging our ladies successfully fostered one voice encompassing cohesiveness and support.
The WGL has the privilege of working exclusively with our golf professionals through tailored instructional clinics. Our most recent clinic, Rules on The West Course, brought players to Hole 6 in front of High Point Mansion, where each golf professional taught the ins and outs of conquering our challenging fairways.
The golf season is just beginning and we can’t wait to see our ladies progress! On Sara Muldoon's behalf, we sincerely thank the female golfers who make the Club an essential part of our success.
