All-New Hybrid Roller Coaster Opens This Summer at Hersheypark
Construction on Wildcat's Revenge at Hersheypark amusement park is well underway! The all-new hybrid coaster featuring the World's Largest Underflip opens this summer, 100 years after the first Wild Cat ride debuted at the Park. When it opens, Wildcat's Revenge will be the first hybrid coaster manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) in Pennsylvania. it will also join an iconic collection of 15 coasters at Hersheypark - the most in the Northeast.

November 4 - Track Arrival
In early November 2022, Hersheypark received a special delivery - the signature red steel track for Wildcat's Revenge arrived on-site. The hybrid coaster boasts 3,510 feet of red track on a black steel and wood structure. It will forever change the skyline of Hersheypark.
November 9 - First Piece of Track Installed
Wildcat's Revenge officially went vertical on Nov. 9, 2022. The all-new hybrid coaster adds a new steel track with unique elements to the wooden framework for a one-of-a-kind thrilling ride experience found only at Hersheypark. Watch the first piece of red steel track being lifted into place atop the wooden structure.
November 15 - Custom Coaster Train Reveal
Hersheypark and RMC unveiled the design of the custom Wildcat's Revenge train on Nov. 15, 2022, at IAAPA Expo. The wood and steel coaster features three custom trains showcasing fully-dimensional black, charcoal and silver wild cats exacting revenge on their wooden predecessor. The thematic elements are a design first for Hersheypark.
December 16 - World's Largest Underflip Progress
Check out the progress on the World’s Largest Underflip in December 2022. This one-of-a-kind RMC inversion begins with an upward climb, followed by a counterclockwise 270° roll and a dive down towards the side. It is the tallest underflip RMC has ever fabricated and the longest one measured by track length.
January 21 - World's Largest Underflip Completion
Construction on the World's Largest Underflip was completed in mid-January 2023. Instead of just one of RMC’s signature thrills, Wildcat’s Revenge features the very best of all four - with the World’s Largest Underflip, Inverted Stall, Zero-G Roll and Reversing Downhill Roll. January 25 - Snowfall
The RMC team works in all types of weather conditions, including snow! The team captured photos of snow covering the track during a late-January snowfall in Central Pennsylvania.
