WHAT’S NEW AT HERSHEYPARK IN SUMMER 2019
Hershey, PA feels like a destination in itself with Chocolate World, Hersheypark, the Hershey Story Museum, Hershey Gardens, all of the Hershey Hotels, and spas. School’s almost out for the summer, so we’re making our plans to visit the Sweetest Place on Earth.
REESE’S CUPFUSION
First up is Reese’s Cupfusion, an interactive ride for riders 48″ and taller. Become an agent, protect the factory, and ensure the world is never deprived of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups on this all-new interactive gaming ride which features the most targets in the world and six ways to play!
As an agent trainee, riders are given the latest technology to track their scores, receive a free ride photo, and earn their place on the Reese’s Hall Of Fame. This one is for all you gamers out there, and I can’t wait to ride!
HERSHEY’S UNWRAPPED AT HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD
Hershey’s Chocolate World is at least a half-day visit for us. It’s right next to the park, and we love riding on Hershey’s Chocolate Tour, making our own chocolate bars, and of course, eating all the delicious snacks!
Hershey’s Unwrapped replaced the Chocolate Tasting Experience and opened May 20, 2019. It’s a fun show where the audience gets to participate, the actors will keep you laughing, plus you get chocolate! Sounds like my kind of place.
Tickets for the Hershey’s Unwrapped attraction are $15.95 for adults, $12.95 for kids, and children 2 and under are free. You can purchase your tickets at Chocolate World or online.
NEW FOOD FOR 2019 AT HERSHEYPARK
Now you’re speaking my language. Our mission as a family is to try every new food item at Hersheypark. With new food trucks, new King Size Shakes at Simply Chocolate (we recommend the Slither and Squirm King Size Shake), and the fundae at Founder’s Way Funnel Cakes, we’re happy to have a sugar rush.
Check out this beauty with a funnel cake bowl as the base. It’s filled with chocolate peanut butter ice cream and topped with peanut butter syrup, whipped cream and Reese’s candies. Yum!!!
