What to Expect for the 14th Annual Chocolate-Covered February in Hershey, PA

Chocolate-Covered February is right around the corner, and we can already taste the sweetness!

The Hotel Hershey 

Chocolate Dinner Extrodionare 
February 2, 6:30pm - $94.50 per person, plus $54 for wine pairing per person 
The Hotel Hershey welcomes you to the Castilian Room for an exceptional 5-course chocolate-infused dinner to kick off the Chocolate-Covered February festivities! Recommended for couples. 

Complimentary Chef Demonstration 
Every Saturday in February, 11am 
Watch and learn as a chef from The Hotel Hershey prepares a delicious chocolate dessert or chocolate savory item before your very eyes! Free admission, recommended for couples.

Chocolate Tea 
Every Saturday in February, 3pm - $31.50 per person 
Enjoy finger sandwiches, an array of chocolate desserts, and a variety of hot and cold teas. Reservations are required. Recommended for couples and families. 

Wine & Chocolate Pairing 
Every Saturday in February, 4pm - $48 per person (must be +21)
Learn all about pairing Wine & Chocolate as you explore various flavor combinations. Recommended for couples.

Hershey's Chocolate Dessert Buffet 
Every Saturday in February, 7-9pm - $36.50 (adults), $15 (ages 3-8)

Enjoy an array of special Chocolate-Covered February desserts. Recommended for families and couples. 

Hershey Lodge 

Chocolate and Spirits Pairing Class & Chef Demo 
February 10 and 24, 2-4pm, $45 per person (must be +21)
Guests are introduced to a variety of spirits that pair with different chocolates to create wonderful and unique flavors. Guests will also enjoy learning how to create signature items from our variety of restaurants while our chefs demonstrate and walk through the process. Recommended for couples. 

Chocolate Martini Mixology 
February 2 and 16, 5:30pm - $45 per person (must be +21)
Learn how to create the signature Hershey Lodge Chocolate Martini, as well as a variety of other flavors! Attendees will receive a complimentary Hershey Lodge martini glass and cocktail shaker. Recommended for couples.

Hershey's Character Breakfast
February 25, 7-11am - $21.95 (adults), $12.95 (ages 9-12), $8.95 (ages 4-8), free (ages 3 and younger)
HERSHEY’S Characters and the Hersheypark Band will be on hand to meet and greet guests for this breakfast event at Fire & Grain! Buffet Pricing does not include tax and gratuity.

Menu items include the following and more: Chocolate Dipped Waffles, Triple Chocolate Cheesecake, Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, HERSHEY’S Melted Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Strawberry Milkshake, Thai Peanut Soup, and other sweet and savory, cocoa inspired items.

 

The Hershey Story, The Museaum on Chocolate Avenue 

The Heart of Chocolate and Try it with Truffles Chocolate Lab Classes 
Daily, times vary - $12.50 (adults), $11.50 (ages 62+), $9 (ages 4-12)
Follow in Milton Hershey’s footsteps as you design your own heart-shaped milk chocolate confection. Choose ingredients for flavor, appearance and personal preference. Learn how Milton Hershey’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to create one of the world’s greatest chocolate businesses. Also learn how chocolate is grown and processed. This 45-minute class is suitable for adults and families with children ages four and up. 

Truffles for Couples Chocolate Lab Classes 
February 9-10, 14-16, 16-17, 6-8pm - $20 per person 
Bring your sweetheart or best friend to the Chocolate Lab at The Hershey Story Museum for an evening of decadence. Participants will hand-roll and coat rich, dark chocolate ganache in milk and white chocolate and finish with a sweet array of toppings. Each guest will package their truffles in a charming box and receive a fresh, long-stemmed red rose to take home. Participants will also enjoy learning about the courtship and marriage of Milton and Catherine Hershey as well as how chocolate is grown and processed. Classes are one hour in length. This class is most suitable for adults. 

Hershey's Candy & Curiousity 
February 17-19, 10am-1pm - included in admission 
Kids can have fun learning the history of Hershey’s Kisses through interactive activities, such as hand wrapping and packing Kisses like workers did in the original factory. Families can also participate in a fun scavenger hunt and learn more about Hershey’s chocolate, Hershey the town, and Mr. Hershey himself. Participants will receive a sweet treat after the hunt, courtesy of The Hershey Company. Included in admission.

Hershey Gardens 

Cocoa Cart Conversations & Kids Craft
February 10-11, 17-18, 24-25, 11am-2pm - free with admission
This fun, educational “cart” provides guests of all ages the opportunity to learn more about the cacao tree, a tropical tree whose pods produce the beans used to make chocolate. Get a close-up look at actual pods and beans harvested from the Butterfly Atrium’s cacao tree. Children are also welcome to decorate their own cacao pod to take home. Located in the Conservatory. 

Sweet Scavenger Hunt
Daily in February, 9am - 5pm, included in admission
Kids, venture on a scavenger hunt throughout the gardens and inside the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory. Your reward? A sweet treat, of course!
