Hersheypark in Hershey, PA is not just a summer amusement park. Some of my family’s favorite times to visit is during the holidays – Christmas included! You can visit Hersheypark in the winter and include Christmas Candylane as part of your visit. Are rides open? How much does Christmas Candylane Cost? And are Santa’s reindeer real? Here’s what you can expect at Christmas Candylane at Hersheypark in 2019!
2019 CHRISTMAS CANDYLANE DATES AND TICKET PRICES
Hersheypark Christmas Candylane begins Friday, November 2 and is open on select dates through Tuesday, January 1, 2020. The cost per ticket is $30.95 for children ages 3 and older. You can also purchase a Hersheypark and Dutch Wonderland Combo ticket and save 20%. If you have younger children, I highly recommend Dutch Wonderland for little ones, too!
Starting December 9, 2019, Hersheypark will be open daily until January 1st except on Christmas Day. There are extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays and the week of Christmas. For operational hours and dates, visit Hersheypark.com.
WHAT RIDES ARE OPEN DURING CHRISTMAS CANDYLANE?
Christmas Candylane at Hersheypark features more than 45 rides (as long as the weather cooperates), including 40 rides for children, 2019’s newest ride Reese’s Cupfusion, and six roller coasters: Laff Trakk, Sidewinder, sooperdooperLooper, Wild Mouse, Wildcat and Cocoa Cruiser.
MEET SANTA CLAUS AND HIS REINDEER
This year kids can meet Santa in the indoor, heated Candy Cottage while they are visiting Hersheypark Christmas Candylane. It’s a good place to warm up. After you meet Santa, head over to see his reindeer. Yes, they are real live reindeer! My kids get a big kick out of meeting Rudolph.
HOLIDAY LIGHTS
More than 4 million lights deck the halls of Hersheypark in celebration of the season! Get in the holiday spirit with a choreographed light show, festive live entertainment, and more. Guests can also go on a ride over the dazzling NOEL light show featuring more than 250,000 dancing lights synchronized to Christmas music. For a higher view, try looking out over Hersheypark from the Kissing Tower!
CHRISTMAS SNACKS AT HERSHEYPARK
I mean, what’s a party without snacks? Don’t miss out on the Hot Chocolate Bar at Simply Chocolate. Here are some of the amazing flavors you can try!
Simply Hot Chocolate – Hot Chocolate topped with Chocolate Whipped Cream, Hot Fudge, White and Chocolate Chips, and a Double Chocolate Cookie Bar.
Peppermint Hot Chocolate – Peppermint Hot Chocolate Topped with Whipped Cream, Hot Fudge, Crushed Peppermint, Candy Cane Kisses, and a Sugar Cookie Bar.
