Trick Or Treat at 13 Candy Stops During Hersheypark In The Dark

A Trick or Treat Trail Winds from Hershey's Chocolate World to Treatville in Hersheypark

Hersheypark In The Dark is officially open for the 2020 season with more weekends than ever before! Our Halloween event runs through Nov. 1, which means there is plenty of time for rides, coasters, fall foods, shopping, and of course trick-or-treating. Children 12 and under can collect candy on a Trick or Treat Trail with 13 stops that winds from Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction to Treatville in Hersheypark. So put on your costumes, grab the family and get ready for some Halloween fun.

Hershey's Chocolate World

The Trick or Treat Trail starts at Hershey's Chocolate World with 3 spooky candy stops for children 12 and under. All guests must secure a free timed entry pass to enter the building, grounds and events. While inside, guests can take the free chocolate tour ride, shop for candy and other gifts, and purchase spooky limited-edition treats. There is live music with a DJ in the courtyard from 5-9 p.m. on the same dates as Hersheypark In The Dark. The Kissmobile will be on-site too. Other fall events include Halloween cookie decorating and Trick or Treat Trolley tours.

Treatville in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark

The Trick or Treat Trail continues in Treatville, which has a new home in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark. The water park inside Hersheypark was transformed into Treatville with 10 themed candy stops featuring lights, fall decorations and your favorite Hershey candy. Children 12 and under are invited to visit each stop once.

As fun and safety go hand-in-hand at Hersheypark, please note the following safety enhancements when trick-or-treating:

  • Costumes are welcome but masks as part of costumes are not permitted. Face coverings are required for guests 2 and over.
  • Team members will be wearing gloves and face coverings behind plexiglass as they distribute candy directly into bags, with hand sanitizers at each stop for families.
  • The trail has a single entrance and exit with markers to indicate the distance families should stay between other groups as they enjoy themed stops along the trail.
