Tickets are now officially on sale for “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical,” coming to Hershey, Pa., for eight performances on June 30-July 5, 2026, as part of the 2026 Broadway Series.
Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, “A Beautiful Noise” is the uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a chart-busting, show-stopping American rock icon. With 120 million albums sold, a catalog of classics like “America,” “Forever in Blue Jeans" and “Sweet Caroline, Neil Diamond's story was made to shine on Broadway – and head out on the road across America.
Like “Jersey Boys” and “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” before it, “A Beautiful Noise” is an inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled musical memoir that tells the untold true story of how America's greatest hitmaker became a star, set to the songs that defined his career.

“A Beautiful Noise” is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer ("Spring Awakening," “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”), choreographed by Olivier Award winner Steven Hoggett ("Once," “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child") and written by four-time Academy Award nominee Anthony McCarten ("Bohemian Rhapsody," “The Two Popes.")
Fun Facts About Neil Diamond
- Despite his success as a musician, Neil Diamond is also an accomplished fencer. While at New York University, he was a member of the fencing team and helped Abraham Lincoln High School win the city scholastic fencing championship in 1958.
- Neil Diamond wrote the song “I'm a Believer,” which became a hit for The Monkees in 1066. The song was so popular that it knocked The Beatles' “Day Tripper” off the top of the charts.
- In the 1970s, Diamond had a brief career as a film actor. He appeared in two movies, “The Last Waltz” and “The Jazz Singer,” the latter of which was based on his own life.
- His 1976 album “Beautiful Noise” was partially recorded in his own home. Diamond built a recording studio in the basement of his Beverly Hills house and used it to record several of his albums.
- Neil Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984, but he didn’t attend the ceremony. Instead, he sent a letter stating that he was grateful for the honor but preferred to let his songs speak for themselves.
