The summer season is quickly approaching. Are you ready for a vacation?
Hersheypark is a great destination for everyone in your family. Hersheypark has been my go-to summer spot for the last several years.
Each year they draw you back with new and exciting additions to the park. Take a look at some of the must-dos during your visit.
Here are three great things to do when you visit Hersheypark and Hershey PA this year!
1. Visit the New Water Coasters at The Boardwalk
The Boardwalk will officially open for the season Memorial Day weekend. Get ready to check out 2 new additions Breakers EdgeSMWater Coaster and WhitecapSM Racer, are coming to The Boardwalk At Hersheypark®May 26, 2018. I was able to see the construction site earlier in April and I can’t tell you how exciting this ride will be. When planning your trip I would recommend 2 days – one for the park and one day for the Boardwalk. It is the best of both worlds combined.
I was able to get a behind the scenes tour of the new construction site for both coasters. Of course, safety first when in the hard hat area. They are putting the finishing touches on as you are reading this to get ready for the 2018 summer kick off.

2. Visit Zoo America
Zoo America is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year. With 2 entrances you can enter directly from the inside of Hersheypark or on the other side by bypassing Hersheypark entirely.
