Thousands of tulips are blooming at Hershey Gardens

It's Tulip Time At Hershey Gardens!

Since 1942, springtime at Hershey Gardens is met with great anticipation. This spring is no different, as 24,000 tulips are in bloom! This year’s display features 45 varieties, including 16 new varieties.

Tulips first appeared at Hershey Gardens as a seasonal display to welcome spring in 1942—and they have been a tradition ever since. This year’s display showcases unique varieties with colors ranging from creamy whites and pale yellows to vibrant reds and purples, and every color in between. There’s even a black variety.

In addition to the Gardens’ 23 acres, admission to Hershey Gardens also includes the indoor tropical Butterfly Atrium. Hershey Gardens is open daily, including Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets can be purchased online at HersheyGardens.org or at the door upon arrival.
