Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights Open Weekends In October
Hersheypark is now open weekends through Nov. 3, 2024 for its Hersheypark Halloween seasonal event and Dark Nights immersive haunt experience, with new and exciting offerings including special hours on Halloween night!
Visit Pennsylvania's largest amusement park this month and enjoy thrills on 50 rides and attractions (weather permitting), lights-out rides during the last hour of operation on select coasters, Treatville trick-or-treat trail for children 12 and under, Hershey Character Glow Dance Parties, the all-new Avenue of the Afterlife scare-free zone and more. Darkness then sweeps over Hersheypark nightly at 6 p.m. with Dark Nights. The terrifying tales guests thought they knew are turning the page with all-new spins and evolved stories in five haunted houses, including the new Estate of Evil, and three Scare Zones, including the new Darkstone’s Hollow: Battle for Spring Creek. Hersheypark Halloween event hours are 5-10 p.m. on Fridays, 12-10 p.m. on Saturdays and 12-9 p.m. on Sundays. Dark Nights begins each night at 6 p.m. and goes until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 10 p.m. on Sundays.
Try The Dark Nights Tasting Pass
Guests can also sink their teeth into uniquely Halloween flavors with scary-good eats and spellbinding-sips. The Dark Nights Tasting Pass includes a choice of up to five specialty menu items from more than 35 food and beverage options at more than 15 locations throughout the Park. Guests can purchase the Tasting Pass online or in person. They will receive a punch card to scan for each usage.
Visit Spirit's Rooftop Bar
The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio will continue to offer Spirit’s Rooftop Bar all month during Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights operating days, starting at 4:30 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Guests who dare to explore can order new items from a delicious limited-time menu while enjoying haunted rooftop vibes. The Chocolatier patio entrance to Spirit's Rooftop Bar is only accessible inside Hersheypark on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.
Don't forget—The Chocolatier is open daily in October for lunch and dinner, with reservations available all month. Trivia night also returns every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a night of appetizers and drinks and a chance to win a prize each week! Creatures of The Night at ZooAmerica Starts October 11
ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily this month from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27 for its popular Creatures Of The Night event.
The Halloween event is the only time of year ZooAmerica is open after dark, so guests of all ages are encouraged to bring a flashlight and curiosity to explore the nighttime habits of the nocturnal North American animals. Special activities and themed displays are also offered from 6-9 p.m.
Creatures Of The Night is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark Halloween when accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Separate ZooAmerica admission is also available online or at the Zoo Admissions building.

Attend A Hershey Bears Game
The back-to-back Calder Cup champions are excited to take the ice for their 87th season in the American Hockey League! The Hershey Bears will open the season at home on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. against the Cleveland Monsters, in a rematch of last spring’s thrilling seven-game Eastern Conference Finals. That night, Hershey will commemorate its 2024 Calder Cup championship by raising a 13th Calder Cup banner to the rafters of GIANT Center, and each fan in attendance will receive a mini replica banner presented by Highmark Blue Shield.
Fall In Love With Pumpkin-Spice Spa Treatments
The Spa At The Hotel Hershey resort spa and MeltSpa by Hershey day spa offer pumpkin-scented treatments now through Nov. 30!
