Soak Up the Last of Summer at Hersheypark
Labor Day weekend marks the end of daily summer operations at Hersheypark, so don’t miss the fun!
Hersheypark is open Friday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 2 for guests to celebrate the sweet end of summer with coaster rides, King Size Shakes and water park splashes. Tickets include more than 70 rides, weather and maintenance permitting, plus access to an 11-acre water park with one million gallons of water.
The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park closes after Labor Day and won’t open again until May 2025, which means that Labor Day Weekend is the last chance to enjoy racing water slides, a relaxing ride along the lazy river, delicious eats and more. The Boardwalk is open Sunday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark. Summer tickets must be used by Sept. 8.
Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights Begins Friday the 13th
Hersheypark Halloween returns with a variety of thrills, haunts and fall-themed fun. From trick-or-treating through Treatville to epic coaster rides in the dark and haunted experiences at Dark Nights, there’s plenty to discover for the whole family!
Our Halloween event truly offers something for everyone, with unique experiences you can only enjoy in The Sweetest Place On Earth during the fall. Trick-or-treating through Treatville is a must-do, as there is no better place to enjoy candy than in Hershey! Guests can dance with the Hershey Characters in costume at the Shake, Rattle and Glow Monster in Ball and explore a new scare-free zone with a DJ and food as part of the Avenue of the Afterlife.
In 2024, Dark Nights returns with more haunting dates than ever before, offering even more thrills and chills. In addition to expanded operating days, guests can venture through the all-new Estate of Evil haunted house, with 13 rooms captivated by the meticulous care the live-in waitstaff has taken to preserve the past. Thrill seekers and haunt enthusiasts can get scared like never before in five haunted houses and three scare zones as part of Dark Nights and also experience lights-out coaster rides during the last hour of operation.
