Discovery Weekends at ZooAmerica
ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this winter. Families can explore our 11-acre zoo while learning about dozens of animals native to our continent, like gray wolves, mountain lions, black bears, and Canada lynxes. Winter is often the best time of year to visit ZooAmerica, as the crowds are lighter and the animals are more active.
All month, kids ages 8 and under get into ZooAmerica for FREE with the purchase of a regular or senior admission ticket. We also encourage guests to enjoy Discovery Weekends. Each weekend will spotlight a specific animal and feature a variety of enrichment activities based on the five senses.
Current ZooAmerica Pass Holders can enjoy unlimited year-round visits to the Zoo, and 2024 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders get into the Zoo for free, too.

After discovering her passion for stand-up comedy later in life and finding the time and confidence to pursue her dream, Leanne Morgan has cemented herself as a must-watch comedian. She has garnered over 2.5M followers across social media and her popular online stand-up special, So Yummy, has reached over 50M views on YouTube. Morgan’s fan base continues to grow with her relatability as she discusses everything from being a housewife, sharing Jell-O recipes to having a new grandbaby. Tickets for her show in Hershey, Pa. are selling fast, so be sure to grab yours before they’re gone.
Hershey Bears Hockey Games at GIANT Center
Cheer for the hometown AHL hockey team, the Hershey Bears, as they continue to dominate the AHL this season. The Bears will take the ice at GIANT Center for six games this month. Hockey fans should mark their calendars for upcoming key promotional nights, including the GIANT Teddy Bear Toss Night on Jan. 7 and Hall of Fame Night on Jan. 28.
