The Hotel Hershey’s West Tower Receives a Fresh New Look
Celebrating 40 years of legacy!
Recently The Hotel Hershey’s West Tower received a fresh new look, and in true Hershey, PA fashion even the smallest details pay homage to Milton Hershey’s legacy. Accents in each room represent another area of The Hotel Hershey, which Mr. Hershey built and adored. For example, the artwork found in the West Tower rooms’ bathrooms are inspired by The Circular, The Hotel Hershey’s flagship restaurant which Mr. Hershey designed so that no guests were seated in a corner or behind a pillar.. The tile artwork also found in the bathrooms was designed as replicas of the tile used in the Fountain Lobby.
Interesting facts about the renovation:
The color milk chocolate is incorporated into the design of the new carpet to represent Hershey’s Chocolate Factory.
4,400 linear yards of wall covering was used
It took 180 gallons of paint
3,420 square yards of new carpet was placed in the guest rooms
And 1,538 square yards of new carpet was placed in the corridors
The Hotel Hershey is always looking for ways to incorporate Mr. Hershey’s favorite things into the design, cuisine, and atmosphere which all helps to ensure his legacy lives on.
