The Hotel Hershey Wine & Food Festival Returns With Two New Events September 15-17, 2017

The Hotel Hershey will be hosting its eighth annual Wine & Food Festival September 15-17, 2017. To celebrate, two new events have been added to the lineup. Spend Saturday tasting new flavors of bubbly at the Champagne Tasting Class and later delve into the world of Beaujolais Wine at the Beaujolais Tasting. With two new events and numerous annual favorites, The Hotel Hershey Wine & Food Festival has something for everyone, from wine novice to connoisseur.

Friday, September 15

  • The Joy of Wine: a wine reception hosted by Pablo Cúneo followed by “Something to Wine About” comedy show by Laurie Forster, The Stand Up Sommelier.
    • Reception: 6:30 p.m.
    • Comedy show: 8 p.m.
    • Price: $96 per person

Saturday, September 16

  • Vine to Wine at Waltz Vineyards: a unique experience that takes the guest through the wine making process at Waltz Vineyards in Lancaster County.
    • The Shuttle departs The Hotel Hershey at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 1:30 p.m.
    • Price: $54 per person including boxed lunch
  • NEW! Champagne Tasting Class: a guided tasting and pairing of four bubbly champagnes with local meat and cheese.
    • 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • Price: $54 per person
  • NEW! Beaujolais Wine Tasting: educate your palate on Beaujolais wine accompanied by finger sandwiches and local cheese and crackers.
    • 2-4p.m.
    • Price: $54 per person
  • Kim Crawford Wine Dinner: meet, dine and taste wine with fellow wine enthusiasts.
    • Reception: 6:30 p.m.
    • Dinner: 7:30 to 10 p.m.
    • Price: $120 per person

Sunday, September 17

  • VIP Winemaker Brunch: a brunch buffet paired with a mimosa bar that features interaction with Winemakers and Brew Masters as well as the chance to preregister for the Grand Tasting if attending.
    • 10 a.m. to noon
    • Price: $30 per person
  • The Grand Tasting at The Hotel Hershey: enjoy live jazz entertainment, taste international and domestic wines, a selection of domestic breweries and delicious culinary samplings from Hershey Entertainment & Resorts’ award-winning chefs.
    • Noon to 4 p.m.
    • $72 per person, $20 per designated driver

Guest Reservations:

Friday and Saturday’s Wine Down Weekend package includes Kim Crawford’s Wine Dinner and the Grand Tasting, and the Vineyard Package only available for Sunday night includes the Grand Tasting.
