The Hotel Hershey, The Circular and The Spa At The Hotel Hershey Receive Forbes and AAA Awards
(Hershey, Pa. – March 23, 2017) – The Hotel Hershey, The Circular restaurant and The Spa At The Hotel Hershey have again received prestigious Forbes Four Star and AAA Four Diamond awards. In order to achieve these high honors year after year, The Hotel Hershey continues to upgrade its experience. In early 2017, The Hotel Hershey renovated the guest rooms in its West Tower and refreshed the iconic Iberian Lounge cocktail bar. Highlights include new hard and soft goods in guest rooms and a new entrance at the Iberian Lounge cocktail bar as well as fresh paint, comfortable oversized sofas, additional seating areas, new lighting and flooring.
These renovations and ongoing premier customer service have helped The Hotel Hershey maintain the longest streak in Pennsylvania for receiving the AAA Four Diamond award (37 consecutive years). The Hotel continues to set itself apart by being one of only three hotels in Pennsylvania and one of 478 hotels internationally to receive the Forbes Four Star award. The Hotel has earned the award 33 times.
Milton S. Hershey’s dream was to make sure every guest of his hotel was comfortable and treated with respect. Living up to that dream, The Circular, The Hotel Hershey’s flagship restaurant and recipient of the AAA Four Diamond award, was designed without corners. This unique design keeps diners from being tucked away, making sure each guest is given the ultimate dining experience whether they are solo diners or in a large group. The Circular restaurant has received the AAA Four Diamond distinction for 29 consecutive years, the longest of any Four Diamond rated restaurant in Pennsylvania and one of only six in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico to receive the award for at least 29 consecutive years.
Keeping with the Hotel’s expectation of excellence is The Spa At The Hotel Hershey full service spa, recipient of the Forbes Four Star award for a second consecutive year. The Spa is one of only two spas in Pennsylvania and 207 internationally that have received the Forbes Four Star distinction. The Spa At The Hotel Hershey operates at the highest level of excellence and is dedicated to giving guests the ultimate luxury experience. Best known for its signature chocolate treatments, the Spa invites guests to indulge in its patented Whipped Cocoa Bath, Chocolate Sugar Scrub, Chocolate Bean Polish, Cocoa Massage and more.
“I am very proud of the team at The Hotel Hershey who have made these awards possible,” said incoming general manager Bill Hendrix (effective May 1, 2017). “Without the hard work of our employees we would not be able to deliver the kind of experience that our guests deserve and these awards warrant. We are honored and proud to uphold Milton S. Hershey’s iconic hotel to the highest standards in the industry.”
