At The Hershey Story, guests can hone their skills as a cocoa connoisseur - from fruity African chocolate flavors to Indonesian chocolate with caramel overtones. Chocolate Tastings are the perfect way to immerse yourself in the sweet world that inspired Milton Hershey. 

Chocolate Tastings take place each day, though hours will vary based on the time of year. Timed tickets can be purchased at The Hershey Story Admissions desk on the day of your visit. Please note that all tastings are non-alcoholic.

Chocolate Lab Classes at The Hershey Story

Get crafty with the perfect chocolate-infused immersive event! Treat your loved one to a special “Truffles for Couples” Chocolate Lab class at The Hershey Story on Feb. 13 and 14,  with evening classes being offered from 5:45 to 7 p.m. and 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. Begin the experience tasting single-origin warm drinking chocolates from around the world, followed by a special one-hour Chocolate Lab class where you'll have the chance to hand-roll and decorate traditional dark chocolate ganache truffles. 

Each guest will package their delicious truffles into a charming box and receive a personalized milk chocolate bar and long-stemmed rose to take home. Participants will enjoy learning about the courtship and marriage of Milton and Catherine Hershey, as well as the process of growing and processing chocolate during their interactive chocolate-making session. Space for the event is limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Please note that tickets are non-refundable. This class is most suitable for adults. Up to two couples will be assigned to the same table.

Additional paid attraction experiences, including a chocolate bar-making factory, chocolate tasting theatrical experience and trolley show on wheels, are also offered. Before you leave The Sweetest Place On Earth, be sure to indulge in a signature Hershey’s chocolate martini served at various dining locations around town like Fire & Grain, Iberian Lounge or Revelry. Options include the Hershey’s Kisses Signature Chocolate Martini, Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel Martini and the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Martini.
