Teddy Bear and Friends Day Returns to ZooAmerica on March 22, 2020

Given the COVID-19 situation, Teddy Bear and Friends Day has been cancelled. Effective March 13, 2020, ZooAmerica is closed to the public through the end of March. 

Springtime event features bear-related activities for kids 12 and under

Calling all teddy bear lovers! ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is hosting Teddy Bear and Friends Day on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mark your calendars for this family-friendly springtime event featuring an array of bear-related activities for young guests.

Schedule of Teddy Bear Activities 

11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

  • The Teddy Bear Repair Clinic will be open for children to stop by with their stuffed animal friend for a check-up by a real veterinarian or Zoo naturalist. If the stuffed animal is diagnosed with a loose nose or slight tear, thread and Band-Aids will be on-hand to fix any boo boos.
  • Teddy Bear Scavenger Hunt throughout the Zoo
  • Visit with Ranger Scratch, Coco the Bear and other friends

1 p.m.

  • Enrichment activity with the black bears

1:15 p.m.

  • Parade led by Ranger Scratch and his friends

Additional Event Information to Bear In Mind

Teddy Bear and Friends Day will take place rain or shine. All activities are included in regular admission, which is $13 for guests ages 9 to 61 and $11 for guests ages 3 to 8 and ages 62 and older. Children 2 and younger (and stuffed animals) are free! ZooAmerica Annual Pass Holders and 2020 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders also get in for free.
