ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily through Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It's the last chance for animal lovers to participate in free daily activities, including keeper talks, animal encounters and feeding and training sessions. For a more personal experience, premium animal feedings allow visitors to feed favorite foods to gray wolves, a black bear or a river otter.

Access to the 11-acre zoo is included with a Hersheypark admission ticket. Those interested in visiting ZooAmerica in the morning before Hersheypark opens must purchase separate Zoo admission tickets online or at the Zoo Admissions Building.

Hersheypark tickets include entry to ZooAmerica only by accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. 4. Jazz On The Veranda at The Hotel Hershey

New for 2026, Guests can look forward to a brand-new interactive water play experience at The Boardwalk within Bayside Pier, featuring 45 fun-filled aquatic elements designated for all ages.

Visit North American Animals at ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is an 11-acre, walk-through zoo that cares for more than 60 species from five regions of North America. Guests can see a black bear, wolves, Canada lynx, elk and other animals native to this continent.

ZooAmerica is open daily this summer from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 7. To enhance a summer visit, guests can enjoy daily activities, like special animal enrichments, animal encounters and keeper chats, included with admission. 

Regular admission to ZooAmerica is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ are $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. Hersheypark All-American Summer Celebration

Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 5, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The centerpiece of the holiday celebration is Hersheypark, which commemorates its 120th operating year alongside the nation's semiquincentennial. Tickets include three parks in one with more than 70 rides, a water park and a zoo (open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

Visitors to the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania can experience a patriotic transformation across the 121 acres for America's 250th anniversary, featuring decor, Americana-themed ride overlays on attractions like Laff Trakk and Twin Turnpike, and red, white, and blue light packages on coasters. The in-Park entertainment lineup includes Sweet Greets with Hershey Characters dressed in festive patriotic attire and Sweet Land of Liberty: A Celebration of the American Songbook in the air-conditioned Music Box Theatre.

Make Yankee Doodle Chocolate Bars at The Hershey Story

The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with special Yankee Doodle Chocolate Bar-themed Chocolate Lab classes over the Fourth of July weekend. During this 45-minute class, guests can try their hand at chocolate pouring and decorating as they mold a milk chocolate bar and top it off with red, white and blue candy sprinkles to create their own edible American flag. Guests will discover where and how cocoa beans are grown and processed into their favorite chocolate confections.

Hersheypark amusement park is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this month for Spring Weekends. Daily summer operations begin May 21 with hours varying by day. 

Spring Weekends feature more than 50 rides, including the most coasters in the Northeast, weather and maintenance permitting. Guests can also attend a meet and greet with Hersh and Reese at Hersh’s Hangout in Chocolatetown and enjoy Our Friends From The Sea shows inside the Aquatheatre. Don’t forget to indulge in some of the signature eats found throughout the Park, including the King Size Shake, which celebrates its 10th birthday this year.

Looking ahead to the summer season, Hersheypark will celebrate America’s 250th with events and activations starting Memorial Day Weekend. 2. Make A Splash At The Boardwalk

Open Daily Starting May 23; Hours Vary

The Boardwalk at Hersheypark water park opens daily for the summer season later this month, with the debut of two new water play areas boasting 45 aquatic elements in the existing Bayside Pier area. 

• A new shade-filled play zone, The Inlet at Bayside Pier, will feature water-spouting dolphins and fish, and whimsical water spray features.
• The Island at Bayside Pier will debut towering 10-foot-tall palm trees that tip buckets of refreshing water.

Both new areas will feature rubberized decking for additional guest comfort, allowing guests to sit and splash under shaded canopies. The new open design will also allow families to seamlessly flow between other water attractions and cool off faster with access to the abundant water features. 

The 11-acre water park with 17 unique attractions is included with the one-price Hersheypark admission through Labor Day.

The chase for the Calder Cup is on! The Hershey Bears have qualified for the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs, with the first games of the series against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this month. The Bears will take on the Penguins for game 3 of the Atlantic Division Semifinals at GIANT Center in a best-of-five series. This is Hershey's ninth all-time playoff series against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, making the Penguins Hershey's most frequent postseason opponent among active AHL franchises.

The Hershey Story Museum invites the public to its inaugural book club discussion. A New Home for MeltSpa by Hershey at Hershey Lodge

In summer 2027, MeltSpa by Hershey day spa will move to a new and expanded location in a brand-new, 14,000-square-foot standalone building near the Lodge’s outdoor swimming pool along West Chocolate Avenue. The new spa building will offer more treatment rooms and popular services, with convenient walking access for Lodge guests and a dedicated parking lot for all spa guests. MeltSpa opened on Chocolate Avenue in September 2017 and features exclusive Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Treatments and packages in a day spa setting. 

Expanded Meeting Space

As a premier destination for meetings and conventions, Hershey continues to attract more conferences and corporate events. The planned 2027 expansion addresses increased demand with a 17,000-square-foot addition at Hershey Lodge dedicated as conference space. ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is hosting Toddler Tuesdays every Tuesday in March, where guests can enjoy quality time with their little ones at the 11-acre zoo in Hershey, Pa. 4. Early Spring Nature Walk at Hershey Gardens

Enjoy an extended two-hour guided walking tour at Hershey Gardens featuring the Gardens history and landscape as it transitions from winter into spring with emerging flowers.This tour includes additional areas such as the Arboretum and other special highlights throughout the garden, including the unique contorted pine tree and a restoration American chestnut tree. The tour also includes the history behind the Four Seasons Statues. This event is included in general admission. 

5. Teddy Bear & Friends Day

March 14; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A Zoo fan favorite, kids 12 and under are invited to bring a stuffed animal to ZooAmerica for Teddy Bear & Friends Day on March 14! Guests can stop by the Teddy Bear Repair Clinic with their stuffed animal friend for a check-up and repair by a real veterinarian or Zoo naturalist. Kids can also participate in story time, a scavenger hunt and a bear artifact station. All activities are included in standard admission.

6. ZooAmerica Eggstravaganza

March 28 and 29; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

ZooAmerica is open daily in March from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but during visits on March 28 and 29, guests can participate in an egg hunt and receive fun prizes. Other egg-themed activities and crafts will also be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.

The special evening full of decadence and fun begins by tasting single-origin warm drinking chocolate from around the world. Participants will then partake in a one-hour Chocolate Lab class where they can hand-roll traditional dark chocolate ganache, coat it in milk or white chocolate, and finish with a sweet array of toppings. Each guest will package their truffles in a charming box and receive a personalized milk chocolate bar and a long-stemmed red rose to take home as a sweet souvenir. Participants will also learn about the courtship and marriage of Milton and Catherine Hershey, as well as how chocolate is grown and processed.

ZooAmerica Animal Attraction Adult Camp

Saturday, Feb. 14; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Adult animal lovers can further spice up their Valentine’s Day with the Animal Attraction Adult Camp on Feb. .14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants will learn all about how animals “woo” each other through an up-close look at ambassador animals, enrichment activities and more! The cost for a single session is $75 per person, with registration available online.

Winter Bird Watch at Hershey Gardens

Saturday, Feb. 14; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Bird lovers can bring the whole family—and their binoculars—to identify the various birds that call Hershey Gardens home during the winter. On Valentine’s Day, the Winter Bird Watch is called Love is on the Wing: Bird ID and Mate Selection. Participants will walk through Project Feederwatch, go on a unique guided bird walk and learn about identification and feeding. For the youngest birders, additional bird family crafts and activities will be offered in the classroom.

Public Skating at GIANT Center and Hersheypark Arena

Saturday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15; 2-4 p.m.

Nothing says love like skating into the arms of your significant other at two Hershey Entertainment venues over President’s Day Weekend. Public skating is offered on Valentine’s Day from 2-4 p.m. at GIANT Center, home of the Hershey Bears AHL hockey team, making for a unique outing for active individuals. The fun continues the following day, Feb. 15, at the historic Hersheypark Arena, where the public can lace up their skates for another afternoon session, running from 2-4 p.m.

Chocolate Lab Classes at The Hershey Story

Inspired by Milton Hershey’s own candy-making apprenticeship, the Chocolate Lab at The Hershey Story explores the distinctive qualities of chocolate through fun, hands-on experiences and interactive demonstrations. Educational 45-minute classes are offered daily over the long weekend for those interested in rolling up their sleeves and trying their hand at chocolate pouring, decorating and tasting. The February class themes include The Heart of Chocolate, Lovely Bar and Try It with Truffles. 

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of the visit. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The culinary team at Hershey Lodge is excited to offer limited-time Wild Game & Mushroom menus at two of its restaurants to celebrate hunting season in Pennsylvania. Hugely popular comedian Matt Rife will visit GIANT Center as part of his 2025 “Stay Golden Tour.” Produced by Live Nation, the tour will see Rife playing the biggest rooms of his career thus far, with 32 arena and amphitheater dates across North America. The “Stay Golden Tour” follows Rife’s wildly successful “ProbleMATTic World Tour,” which saw the comedian sell over 600,000 tickets across 250+ shows in less than 48 hours following the announcement in June 2023. The multi-year tour included shows across North America, Europe, the U.K. and Australia.

13. Author Of “Thrill Ride: The Transformation Of Hersheypark” Book Signing at The Hershey Story Museum

Wednesday, Nov. 5; 6 to 7 p.m.

Published author and Penn State Harrisburg professor Dr. John R. Haddad will hold a presentation and book signing for his latest book, “Thrill Ride: The Transformation of Hersheypark” at The Hershey Story Museum. "Thrill Ride" takes readers on a journey through Hersheypark’s transformation from a traditional amusement park for chocolate factory employees to a major attraction enjoyed by millions. He will also present highlights of Hersheypark’s fascinating story and share his inspiration for writing the book. The event is free, with the book available for purchase at the museum shop.

14. Seasonal Eats, Sips and Events at The Chocolatier

The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is open daily for lunch and dinner. In addition to the regular Fun-To-Table menu, diners can order from a seasonal menu of fall-inspired shareables, entrées, desserts and cocktails for guests 21 and older. 

Guests can also enjoy a weekday special, featuring $10 flatbreads and $12 milkshakes, as well as select shareables, every Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Later this month, Breakfast With Santa returns to The Chocolatier! It’s a sweet month to visit ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, as many North American animals in the outdoor habitats, such as the gray wolves, river otters and Canada Lynx, are more active when the temperature drops.

Tickets are available for purchase online or at the ZooAmerica Admissions Building. Regular admission for guests ages 9-61 is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Admission for juniors (ages 3-8) and seniors (ages 62 and above) is $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. 

ZooAmerica is included with a Hersheypark ticket only when accessed through the Hersheypark bridge during posted Park hours. Please note that the Zoo naturalists care for the reindeer at Hersheypark, so a Christmas Candylane ticket is required to view them.

Head to Hersheypark Amusement Park, Open Daily This Summer

Hersheypark, a world-class 121-acre amusement park in Hershey, Pa., is open daily for the summer season through Sept. 1, 2025. Summer tickets include three experiences in one with more than 70 rides, an 11-acre water park and access to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park when entering from within Hersheypark.

The summer ride lineup features 15 mild to wild coasters (the most in the Northeast), various family-friendly attractions and more than 20 kiddie rides spread throughout the Park. New for 2025, thrill seekers can experience multiple zero G moments on the tallest Screamin' Swing in the world, Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, as they ascend 137 adrenaline-pumping feet and defy gravity at 68 MPH.

Continuing the Twizzlers celebration, guests can participate in a high-energy game of trivia featuring the Hershey Characters during the all-new Twizz's Twisted Trivia show inside Chevrolet Music Box Theatre. Other entertainment offerings that come with a ticket include daily Hershey Character meet and greets and Our Friends From The Sea shows featuring seals and sea lions. Make a Splash at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark

Included with a Hersheypark ticket, park-goers can beat the summer heat by cooling off at The Boardwalk, a water park inside Hersheypark with one million gallons of water among 16 water attractions. Guests can shoot through one of six water slides at Coastline Plunge, take a ride on Breakers Edge water coaster, float down a lazy river, catch a wave in the 378,000-gallon wave pool, play with 600 interactive water features in East Coast Waterworks or race friends on Whitecap Racer.

Families with young children can splash and play all day at three kiddie attractions in the water park. Sandcastle Cove features water slides, cannons, water curtains, jets and a pool that reaches depths of 18 inches. Shoreline Sprayground is a water playground with misters, bubblers, dancing fountains, spraying jets, water curtains and a drenching tipping bucket. Bayside Pier is a great attraction for the youngest guests, with a zero-depth entry ramp and splash area.

Visit North American Animals at ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is an 11-acre, walk-through zoo that cares for more than 60 species from five regions of North America. Guests can see black bears, wolves, river otters, Canada lynx, elk and other animals native to this continent.

ZooAmerica is open daily this summer from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 1, 2025. To enhance a summer visit, guests can enjoy daily activities, like special animal enrichments, animal encounters and keeper chats, included with admission.

Hersheypark amusement park is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in May for Spring Weekends. Daily operations kick off on May 22, 2025. Hours vary by day.

Spring Weekends feature more than 50 rides, including the most coasters in the Northeast, weather and maintenance permitting. Guests can also attend meet and greets with Hershey Characters at the Chevrolet Music Box Theatre and Our Friends From The Sea shows inside the Aquatheatre.

Food Truck Fridays are returning to Hersheypark! Indulge in a variety of delicious meals on wheels on three flavorful Fridays this month. Food trucks will be set up in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark region across from Sandcastle Cove. Guests can enter the food truck area by 8 Cut Crust and East Coast Burger Works. 

Access to the food truck area inside the Park is included with a Season Pass or Hersheypark admission ticket. Food truck items are available for purchase. No additional discounts or dining plans are accepted.

See The Animals at ZooAmerica

Open Daily

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily in May for guests to enjoy the sun and fresh air while seeing North American animals, like gray wolves, black bears and river otters. 

The 11-acre zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 1-23, 2025, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 24-31, 2025.

Reminder: Hersheypark tickets include entry to ZooAmerica only by accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Those interested in visiting ZooAmerica in the morning before Hersheypark opens will have to purchase separate Zoo admission tickets online or at the Zoo Admissions Building.

Hersheypark & Hershey's Chocolatetown

Guests can find pumpkins all throughout Pennsylvania's largest amusement park during Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights, open on weekends through Nov. 3, 2024. This seasonal event features thrills on 50 rides and attractions (weather permitting), a Treatville trick-or-treat trail for children 12 and under, Hershey's Character Glow Dance Parties, Dark Nights Haunted Houses and Scare Zones and more. 

Grab some delicious items throughout the Park and visit Hershey’s Chocolatetown to enjoy unique pumpkin sweets this season. 

Simply Chocolate 

Located in the Founder’s Way area of Hersheypark, Simply Chocolate offers a signature Hershey experience with their award-winning King Size Shakes. This season, slurp down the Pumpkin King Size Shake, a pumpkin-flavored milkshake topped with a pumpkin roll. 

The Chocolatier  Restaurant Bar + Patio 

The Chocolatier Restaurant Bar + Patio is a fun-to-table restaurant serving classic family fare wth a fun spin and hints of chocolate. Guests ages 21 and up can try a White Pumpkin Martini from their new fall menu.

Creatures of the Night at ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open on National Pumpkin Day for its seasonal event, Creatures of the Night. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., guests can explore the zoo by flashlight, see animals enjoy pumpkin enrichments and find lit pumpkins decorating the zoo.

Creatures Of The Night is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark Halloween only when accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark. Separate admission, starting at $14.50 plus taxes and fees, is also available online or at the ZooAmerica Admissions Building for guests who plan to attend just Creatures Of The Night. 

The Spas in Hershey

The Spa At The Hotel Hershey resort spa and MeltSpa by Hershey day spa are offering pumpkin treatments now through Nov. 30! Treat yourself to a Pumpkin Spice Latte or Pumpkin Chai at Cocoa Beanery, an all-day coffee shop located in the lobby of Hershey Lodge. Or add a Pumpkin Spice Cannoli topping to your Buttermilk Pancakes, Belgian Waffle or Maple Vanilla Custard French Toast stack at STACKS. For guests ages 21 and up, a Pumpkin Pie Martini can be found at all Hershey Lodge restaurants.

The Hotel Hershey

Visit The Circular, the flagship restaurant of The Hotel Hershey, for their Pumpkin Caramel dessert, which features pumpkin cheesecake cremeux, gingerbread, and pumpkin brittle. 

Hersheypark Camping Resort

Those camping on weekends Oct. 25 - Nov. 3 can look forward to the popular pumpkin decorating contest at Hersheypark Camping Resort!

Pumpkin Palooza at Hershey Gardens

Hershey Gardens is hosting a Pumpkin Palooza from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 26-27! Pumpkin Palooza will feature more than 200 hand-painted pumpkins, walk-through pumpkin arches, a 14-foot pumpkin “tree” and three pumpkin mosaics. Visitors can also enjoy 1,400 blooming mums and displays of gourds, hay bales and ornamental grasses as well as live entertainment and food trucks. Kids are encouraged to dress in costume and will receive candy, courtesy of The Hershey Company.

The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is located above Hersheypark Supply Co. right outside the front gate of the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania. The restaurant is open year-round to guests with or without a Hersheypark ticket. The Fun-to-Table restaurant offers unique chocolate dishes and family fare, including the popular Chocolatetown Burger topped with Hershey's Chocolate Drizzled Potato Chips, the Reese’s Peanut Butter Crunch Burger and Cocoa Dusted Beef Short Ribs. Diners should always save room for dessert, as the over-the-top milkshakes and Chocolate Fun-Due are can't-miss items. It's also worth grabbing a signature cocktail at the Carrousel bar. 

When dining at The Chocolatier, there is no need to purchase a ticket to Hersheypark. However, guests may make a reservation to top off their day at the Park with this exciting and nostalgic dining experience. Complimentary parking is available in the Season Pass Holder lot when Hersheypark is not open or during events. Guests can access this parking lot through the Hersheypark parking entry gate. Hersheypark Halloween 2024 has more dates than ever, running for eight weekends from Sept. 13 through Nov. 3, 2024, and the team at the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex is hiring for positions throughout the Park, including the following departments:

The flavors of fall allow the culinary teams across our destination to serve creative dishes for every appetite. Executive Chef Rick Larson of The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio cites Dark Nights food offerings and spooky treats and drinks at Spirit’s Rooftop Bar as opportunities for his team to get creative, “We have so much fun menu planning, testing and seeing everyone enjoy the food.
