From the streets of New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Jersey Boys is the musical that's too good to be true. Go behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the Tony Award-winning, original Broadway sensation.

The Four Seasons were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard…and the radio just couldn't get enough of. While their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story – one that has made the group an international sensation all over again.

Fast Facts

• The show features all of The Four Seasons' greatest hits, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don't Cry,” “Oh What a Night,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Can't Take My Eyes Off You,” “Beggin'” and “Working My Way Back to You.”
• Jersey Boys won four 2006 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Additional accolades include the 2006 GRAMMY Award for Best Musical Show Album, the 2009 Oliver Award for Best New Musical (London), and the 2010 Helpmann Award for Best Musical (Australia).
• The Four Seasons' personal lives were not well known, unlike the Beatles or the Rolling Stones. Many knew and loved The Four Seasons' records, but knew nothing about its individual members.
• The show takes audiences “behind the music” to tell the group's story from each of the four members' perspectives, similar to the film Rashomon.

The cinematic live-to-film event celebrates the 30th anniversary of Luhrmann’s groundbreaking 1996 film. Visiting three continents, the global tour is set to make its world premier at the Sydney Opera House on Sept. 29.

Presented on a cinema screen with the original dialogue and action intact, William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet Film in Concert features a hybrid ensemble performing the film’s score and music live in sync with the full movie. Blending rock and orchestral musicians with vocals, electronics and a DJ, they channel Luhrmann’s signature fusion of classic storytelling and contemporary sound.

Academy Award-winning Leonardo DiCaprio and Emmy-winning Claire Danes star as Romeo and Juliet in the bold retelling that made Shakespeare feel dangerous and romantic for a new generation and continues to influence fashion, music and culture that still reverberates today.

“One of the greatest surprises over the past three decades has been watching Romeo + Juliet find new audiences again and again. That’s the enduring magic of Shakespeare and cinema,” says Luhrmann, a two-time Academy Award nominee for Best Picture. “This concert celebrates both, while inviting audiences around the world to experience the film’s emotion, music and theatricality in a completely new way.”

The following evening, on April 16, the group will take fans on an extraordinary journey through six decades of one of the most influential music catalogs with “Echoes – 60 Years of Pink Floyd.”

The special performances offer Brit Floyd fans the opportunity to experience two completely different Brit Floyd concerts in Hershey, Pa. Featuring the group’s world-class musicianship, breathtaking visuals, immersive production and award-winning laser-light show, both shows promise a unique experience while delivering the scale and spectacle audiences have come to expect.

Steve Martin & Martin Short at Hershey Theatre

Sunday, Sept. 20; Times Vary

"The Best of Steve Martin and Martin Short” redefines the form of comedy in unexpected and profound ways, from two of the funniest, most influential, and acclaimed talents of the past century. Their humor is often subversive, but it is always a joyous, self-deprecating romp from two comedy masters driven to make each other laugh as much as the audience. The jokes come at a rapid-fire pace with little set-up and big punch lines as they mock Hollywood and the fickle nature of celebrity, but the comedy truly soars when they lovingly (and relentlessly) roast each other.

For 120 years, Hersheypark has been known as a clean and green destination for family fun. The 121-acre amusement park is open daily through Sept. 7 (Labor Day) for coaster rides, King Size Shakes, Hershey Character selfies and water park splashes.

A sweet value, Hersheypark tickets include three parks in one—more than 70 attractions with the most coasters in the Northeast, The Boardwalk at Hersheypark water park and ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park.

All-American Summer Celebration: Hersheypark also offers patriotic activations and special summer events highlighting America’s 250th anniversary, including the following:

• Multiple dates of fireworks presented by HERSHEY’S on July 3, July 4 and Aug. 8 at 10:15 p.m.

• Limited-time food and drink, including a Star-Spangled King Size Shake (only available in July) and a Birthday King Size Shake available all summer long

Fun For All Ages: The extensive lineup of more than 70 rides offers something for everyone. Guests can explore rides on the Hersheypark app or website by Hershey’s candy height categories. Hersheypark has more than 20 kiddie rides, plus family favorites like the Carrousel with all 66 original horses and the Kissing Tower for an aerial view of the Park. Hersheypark is also home to the most coasters in the Northeast, from Cocoa Cruiser for the smallest thrill seekers to sooperdooperLooper as the first upside-down coaster for many young guests. For the older kids of 48 inches or taller, Wildcat’s Revenge hybrid coaster offers the ultimate thrills.

Families Can Ride Together: Hersheypark features a unique layout with 121 acres of outdoor attractions surrounded by shady trees, ample green spaces and fresh Pennsylvania air. Unlike other parks, Hersheypark was specifically designed with thrill rides in the same area as kiddie rides, so families don’t have to split up throughout the Park. One exception is Carrousel Circle, with many rides for the youngest guests.

Kiddie Swap: Ideal for families, Hersheypark offers a Kiddie Swap program where one parent may ride while the other stays with the child and then, at the conclusion of the initial ride, the parents may "swap" places. Similarly, if one parent has two children who meet the height restriction but must be accompanied by a responsible rider, or who do not wish to ride alone, the parent may ride with one child while the other child waits in an appropriate ride area. At the conclusion of the initial ride, the parent may remain on the ride while the children "swap" places.

Character Photo Opportunities: In addition to the rides, a beloved family tradition is taking a photo of children next to the Hershey Character-themed height categories in Hershey’s Chocolatetown as they grow each year. And, of course, Hersheypark is the only amusement park in the world where guests can snap a selfie with a Hershey Character. In celebration of the nation's semiquincentennial, Hersh, Miss Kiss and Reese are dressed in their patriotic attire this summer!

Sweet Treats: It wouldn’t be a trip to Hershey without treats kids love, from award-winning King Size Shakes (celebrating 10 years) to funnel cakes with Hershey's candies. For the ultimate sweetness, guests should visit Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor in Hershey’s Chocolatetown. Inspired by Mr. Hershey's early ventures in sweetness that came before his famous chocolate factory, expert Ice Creamologists craft custom creations from 100% local dairy house-made ice cream, Hershey's candy toppings, decadent sauces and more. Right next door to Milton's is The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen with chocolate-dipped treats, decadent desserts and signature hand-crafted fudge.

The best part? Hersheypark offers various ticket options throughout the year, so families can choose the best option to fit their travel needs.

Plus, general admission tickets include a free Preview Plan, allowing guests to enter Hersheypark for two hours on a night before their full-day visit by presenting their tickets at the main entrance to enjoy a fun-filled evening. Resort guests can enter three hours before closing.

Shoreline Sprayground is an all-ages water fun playground with misters, bubblers, dancing fountains, spraying jets, water curtains and a drenching tipping bucket. The Boardwalk is also home to East Coast Waterworks, an attraction that boasts more than 600 interactive water features. Celebrating 20 years of holiday magic, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical is the record-setting Broadway sensation that has delighted more than 3 million theatergoers across 83 cities and 1,700 performances. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small,” hatches a plan to steal Christmas from the cheerful, holiday-loving Whos—only to discover there’s more to the season than he ever bargained for.

With magnificent sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss’ original illustrations, the show transports audiences into the whimsical world of Whoville and breathes new life into this timeless story of the true meaning of Christmas. For more information, please visit www.GrinchMusical.com.

About the Show

Juliet’s new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, including "Since U Been Gone‚" "Roar," "Baby One More Time," "Larger Than Life‚" "That’s The Way It Is" and" Can't Stop the Feeling!" all from the genius songwriter/producer behind more No. 1 hits than any other artist this century, Max Martin. Break free of the balcony scene and get into this romantic comedy that proves there’s life after Romeo.

“& JULIET” features songs by the legendary Grammy-winning songwriter/producer Max Martin, a book by the Emmy-winning writer from “Schitt’s Creek,” David West Read, direction by Luke Sheppard and choreography by Emmy-Award winner Jennifer Weber. The show opened on Broadway in Nov. 2022, where it continues playing to sold-out crowds and breaking box office records.

Special Me + 3 Ticket Offer

Guests can save on seats when they bring their besties to the show with our Me + 3 ticket offer. Snag four seats for the price of three, while supplies last.

Fun Facts

1. Romeo's costumes worn in the show were partially inspired by outfits that singer Harry Styles wore to the Met Gala.
2. All of the ensemble characters in “& JULIET” have names, which isn't always true when it comes to musicals. Their names are inspired by performers in Shakespeare's real-life acting company, members of his family, or characters from his plays.
3. As book writer, David West Read, wrote the story and script for “& JULIET,” he tried using iambic pentameter (a rhythmic pattern found in many works by Shakespeare) in a number of different ways. However, he worried that it might distract the audience, so he chose to use it only to punctuate certain key moments.
4. When Juliet sings “Roar,” her balcony floats off the ground in a shower of confetti, which is both a reference to the famous balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet and to pop stars flying over the crowd during their concerts. Director Luke Sheppard uses this moment to show that Shakespeare’s plays and Max Martin’s songs aren’t always so different.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. They can be purchased online at www.Ticketmaster.com.

In 2027, Hershey Theatre is planning to relocate the organ to the Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where it will begin a new chapter rooted in daily use, preservation and public access. “This transition represents a renewal of purpose – ensuring that this beautiful instrument is once again heard regularly and fully brought back to life,” said Don Papson, executive director of The M.S. Hershey Foundation, which has operated Hershey Theatre since 1970. “The organ, in its new home, will be played more than 300 times a year.” The decision to relocate the organ reflects the changing nature of theatrical performance. “Large, complex concert organs—once central to theatrical life, especially during the vaudeville era—are no longer regularly played in modern performance spaces,” said Papson. “At Saint Patrick’s, the organ will be played several times each week, supporting liturgy, concerts, education and community gatherings. It will be actively maintained and musically relevant.”

The organ’s new home is deeply connected to the Hershey family’s legacy. Catherine Hershey—wife of Milton Hershey—was a parishioner at Saint Patrick and a significant benefactor during the Cathedral’s construction in the early 20th century. Mr. and Mrs. Hershey contributed substantial funds toward its creation, and their generosity is permanently recognized as a “Founder” in the church narthex under the name “Mrs. M.S. Hershey.” Father Joshua Brommer, pastor of the Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick, expressed profound gratitude and excitement at the organ’s arrival: “This organ is a blessing—not only to the Cathedral, but to the entire Harrisburg community. To receive an instrument of this magnitude, history and craftsmanship is truly humbling. We are very much looking forward to honoring its legacy by giving it a voice, week after week, in worship, in education and through our public concert series.”

“The Cathedral is committed to securing the funding required for the upcoming organ project,” noted Father Brommer. “Our hope is to remove the pipes from Hershey Theatre in 2027, followed by the refurbishment of the organ console. Our goal is to complete the final installation of the organ inside the Cathedral in 2029.” “While we will certainly feel the loss of the organ at Hershey Theatre, this relocation is about stewardship, rather than removal,” Papson said. “The instrument is being restored  to active life in a space that aligns with both its musical power and the Hershey family’s philanthropic values.” “Milton Hershey believed deeply in cultural access, education and long-term community benefit. Allowing this magnificent organ to sing again—regularly, publicly, and reverently—is fully consistent with that legacy,” noted Papson.

**While the final agreement for the organ’s transfer is expected in 2026, certain details of the transaction are still being finalized.**

History of Hershey Theatre

In 1915, world-famous chocolatier and philanthropist Milton S. Hershey had his architect, C. Emlen Urban, draw up plans for a new community building, including Hershey Theatre. Groundbreaking was originally scheduled for early 1916, but the arrival of World War I delayed the start of the project. Post-war financial challenges forced Mr. Hershey to delay community projects. As a result, the architect’s plans were put away and virtually forgotten.

As the Depression overwhelmed the country’s economy in the early 1930s, Mr. Hershey responded to the economic crisis by initiating a local building program known as the Great Building Campaign. The campaign employed more than 600 workers— who would have otherwise been unemployed—and saw the construction of Hershey Theatre and other major Hershey landmarks, including The Hotel Hershey, Hersheypark Arena and Hersheypark Stadium.

Although Hershey Theatre was built around the same time as Radio City Music Hall, the Theatre was constructed from Urban’s 1915 plans, giving the venue its opulence that resembles those of early 20th-century theaters. Hershey dedicated the Community Building and Hershey Theatre during the 13th anniversary celebration of the town on Sept. 1-4, 1933. The Theatre officially opened its doors on Sept. 2, 1933.

Today, Hershey Theatre remains a must-visit destination for Central Pennsylvanians and beyond to enjoy world-class entertainment, from touring Broadway productions to intimate concerts and comedy shows right in the heart of downtown Hershey, Pa.
