Hersheypark Halloween Tasting Pass

The Hersheypark Halloween Tasting Pass is back by popular demand! Designed to let guests sample ghoulish culinary creations, the pass is valid exclusively during Hersheypark Halloween operating hours. Parkgoers can choose five frightfully delicious snacks, desserts and beverages from more than 30 specialty options featured across 11 park locations.

The Hersheypark Halloween Tasting Pass is $39.99 and can be purchased online or in-person at Guest Services locations. New this year, Tasting Passes are digital only for guest convenience. Guests will receive a barcode via email that can be easily scanned five times.

Every Tasting Pass item is also available for individual purchase. Operating hours, locations and menu items remain subject to change and availability.

The largest amusement park in Pennsylvania features three parks in one this summer – all accessible via a single admission. Guests can enjoy more than 70 rides, including the most coasters in the Northeast, a full water park (open May 24 through Sept. 7) and an 11-acre zoo. 

Two new water play areas, The Inlet and The Island at Bayside Pier, will debut this weekend in The Boardwalk at Hersheypark water park. The enhancements feature 45 aquatic elements and are designed to offer even more ways to reach the thrills faster and cool off.

All-American Summer Celebration

Hersheypark celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with patriotic events and activations all summer long, including the following: 

• Multiple dates of fireworks presented by HERSHEY’S on May 23 at 9:15 p.m. and July 3, July 4 and Aug. 8 at 10:15 p.m.
• ALL-NEW live music show, Sweet Land of Liberty: A Celebration of the American Songbook, in the Chevrolet Music Box Theatre venue from May 29 through Sept. 7
• Select Americana-themed rides and red, white and blue light packages and decor
• Hershey Characters dressed in their festive best
• Limited-time food and drink, including a Star-Spangled King Size Shake (only available in July)

New Ways to Save

Hersheypark is celebrating 120 years of Hersheypark Happy this summer by offering new ways to save more than 60 percent on admission with tickets as low as $34.99 when guests select their visit date. A variety of offers are available only for purchase on Hersheypark.com through May 31. 

For endless summer fun, guests should consider the Hersheypark Summer Fun Card, which includes unlimited visits from the date of purchase through Labor Day for just $99 when purchased online.

Here are six ways to stay Hersheypark Happy even when the forecast is calling for rain in Central Pennsylvania.

Ride Under Cover

Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides with thrills for everyone. Although the weather may force a small handful of rides to temporarily close during scheduled operating hours, many of our rides can safely operate in light rain. Plus, there are a few that always remain open, maintenance permitting, for guest enjoyment under cover. During heavy precipitation, guests can take a spin on Laff Trakk, the first indoor, spinning, glow-coaster in the United States; become an agent and protect the factory on Reese's Cupfusion; bump family and friends out of the way on Fender Bender; and take a ride back in time on the Carrousel or Kissing Tower.

Tip: Parkgoers can stay up to date on ride availability and wait times with the Hersheypark app! The team will reopen rides as soon as safe to do so.

See A Show (starting May 29)

Sweet Land of Liberty: A Celebration of the American Songbook debuts May 29 inside Chevrolet Music Box Theatre.

Every great story has a soundtrack. Join us for an unforgettable live music show as we journey through the Rock, Pop, Country, and Soul anthems that shaped our history. These aren't just songs; they're the heartbeat of a nation. Rediscover some of the music you love and sing-along with the performers! Plus, stay for the encore; you never know which songs you will hear next!

Play Arcade Games

Guests can play their way through an unexpected shower in the two arcades at Hersheypark. Play Dome Arcade, which is located in the Pioneer Frontier region, features video games, crane machines and redemption games. Across the Park is Overlook Arcade, the largest arcade located in the Kissing Tower Hill region. This arcade offers Skeeball in addition to the games found at Play Dome Arcade.

Tip: Guests will need to purchase a separate Games Card or Time Play pass, which they can load via cashless payment at an in-Park Gaming Card kiosk. All Season Pass Holders can get a bonus with purchase of certain denominations in a Game Card - activate your Game Card at Overlook Arcade or Play Dome Arcade to get your 15 percent off games all year.

Grab a Bite to Eat

What better time to rest and refuel at an amusement park than during a brief summer storm? Hersheypark offers a variety of covered and indoor eateries for guests to grab a snack and remain dry at the same time. We recommend stopping by The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio and Milton's Ice Cream Parlor, located at the front of the Park in Hershey's Chocolatetown. Guests can wait out the rain with some ice cream in hand. A win-win!

A fan favorite, Chick-fil-A serves up handcrafted lunch and dinner items Monday through Saturday in the Pioneer Frontier region. Guests in the Kissing Tower Hill region can swing on over to Overlook Food Court, which offers different concession locations featuring grilled burgers, made-to-order wraps, handcrafted salads, pizza and much more. Shop ‘Til You Drop

There are more than 20 shops inside Hersheypark, many of which provide cover from the rain. Guests can visit Hersheypark Supply Co. to browse the largest collection of apparel, gifts, toys and more exclusive to Hersheypark. Another option is to head to HP Collections in Chocolatetown for premier brand apparel and collectibles, with the all-new HP Toys & Collectables right next door. New for 2026 is Coaster Collections for the ultimate thrill souvenir. 

Tip: All major credit cards, Hersheypark gift cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay are accepted. Guests who arrive at the Park with cash only can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at six Cash-To-Card kiosks throughout the Park at no fee. Prepaid cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

Visit the Zoo

Entrance to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, an 11-acre walk-through zoo, is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark when accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during public operating hours. The best part? Some of the animals are located inside, providing an option for visitors to stay dry. In the Desert and Southwest Swamps buildings, visitors can see spoonbills, various species of rattlesnakes, an ocelot and more.

Tip: The Zoovenirs gift shop is another convenient location to avoid the rain at ZooAmerica.

As one of the country’s most iconic destinations, Hersheypark is a must-visit stop for your celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hersheypark celebration without treats decked out in red, white and blue. Patriotic offerings include:

• Star-Spangled King Size Shake at Simply Chocolate dessert shop in celebration of the 10th birthday of the award-winning, iconic treat (only available during July)

The Founder’s Way region is the new home to a full-service bar with unique cocktail creations debuting this summer at Hersheypark. Known as The Porch presented by Jack Daniels, this new location is slated to open for Memorial Day Weekend across from the 1906 Grill.

Capriotti's

In addition to a new bar, the Founder’s Way area will see further expansion of its food and beverage landscape this season with Capriotti’s. This new sandwich location will serve award-winning subs, cheesesteaks and sandwiches starting Memorial Day Weekend. Please note that this location is not included in the Hersheypark Dining Plans.  

Ghost Truck

Catch a meal on wheels! This new pop-up location will be roaming Hersheypark every Saturday from July 4 through Aug. 8 with a different menu and location each week. Items could include curry chicken tacos, chicken parm sandwiches, limoncello ice cream sandwiches and more, but you’ll have to visit each week to see what’s cooking. Items will be available while supplies last, so be sure to find the Ghost Truck before it disappears along with its exclusive eats.

Flying Fare

Available from Memorial Day through Labor Day, Flying Fare offers allergy-friendly options, including gluten- and nut-friendly meals and flavorful snacks! 

Please note that Overlook Food Court remains the main dietary- and allergen-friendly location at Hersheypark. During your visit, the Food and Beverage staff will be more than happy to answer any questions, as ingredient files are kept at each location.

Celebrations From Sweet to Savory

This summer will feature an array of tasty celebrations featuring all the essential flavors of the season. During these select weeks, Hersheypark will feature themed treats highlighting summer favorites, including: 

• June 8-14 - King Size Shake Week: It's the tenth birthday of the award-winning King Size Shake! Visit Simply Chocolate for three varieties of decadently topped milkshakes, including the all-new Birthday Cake flavor.
• June 15-28 - Hot Dog Week: Hot Dog Week is extended in 2026 with a double helping of fun. The two-week celebration includes an assortment of exclusive hot dogs throughout the park and features the final qualifying event for the legendary Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July hot dog-eating contest. Guests can watch the classic American tradition at 2 p.m. in The Boardwalk.
• Aug. 10-16 - S'mores Week: This celebration week takes the iconic summertime snack beyond the campfire with unique chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker creations.

The Bears’ Den

The Bears' Den offers classic American fare for lunch and dinner and brings a fun, hockey-rink-like atmosphere modeled after our favorite hometown team, the Hershey Bears. Cocoa Beanery

Meet The New Executive Chef

Hershey Lodge is excited to introduce their new Executive Chef, Mike Cappelli! Chef Mike has worked with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts for more than 48 years in various culinary roles. Most recently, he served as Executive Sous Chef for Hershey Lodge prior to being named Executive Chef. 

A graduate of Hershey High School and the U.S. Army National Guard NCO Academy, Mike brings a strong foundation of discipline and leadership to his role. In 2003, he was honored with the Legacy of Excellence Award, the highest level of recognition given within the company. Outside of the kitchen, Mike enjoys cooking for his family, riding his motorcycle, growing heirloom tomatoes and watching the Philadelphia Flyers.

1933 Restaurant & Tavern

1933 Restaurant & Tavern offers an approachable steakhouse menu and elevated pub fare. Guests can relish in the warm weather at several outdoor tables overlooking the putting green at The Hotel Hershey. Or, kick back by the firepit outside while enjoying a cocktail inspired by the Prohibition era. 

STACKS

A visit to Simply Chocolate is a must-do for every Hersheypark guest, as this dessert shop is home to the iconic King Size Shake. This legendary, over-the-top treat is celebrating its 10th anniversary. It debuted during the 2016 season and won an international industry award in its first summer. 

To commemorate this decade of deliciousness, Simply Chocolate will offer three varieties of the signature shake. Each 28-ounce milkshake is generously topped with baked goods like a slice of cake or a cupcake in addition to other delectable sweets, ensuring an unforgettable indulgence with each sip and bite:

Overlook Food Court is the primary dining location for all special dietary needs, offering a selection of gluten-friendly, vegan and vegetarian options. Please note that Flying Fare, an additional allergen-friendly location, will not be open until Memorial Day Weekend.

Guests entering the 121-acre amusement park this summer will immediately notice patriotic decor in the plaza and a new logo overlay atop the front gate.

Fireworks Displays Presented by HERSHEY'S

Daily summer operations at Hersheypark begin May 21, with the first of several fireworks displays presented by HERSHEY’S on May 23 in celebration of Memorial Day Weekend. Guests are encouraged to visit on these days to end their evening with fireworks:

New Live Theatre Show

Hersheypark offers an unforgettable live music show, Sweet Land of Liberty: A Celebration of the American Songbook, in the air-conditioned Chevrolet Music Box Theatre venue from May 29 through Labor Day. The only-in-Hershey show takes guests on a journey through the Rock, Pop, Country and Soul anthems that shaped this country’s history. 

There are four showtimes daily at 2 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with an additional fifth showtime at 7:45 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Hershey Characters in Festive Best

Hersheypark is the only amusement park in the world where guests can take a selfie with life-size Hershey Characters. This summer, Hersh, Reese and Miss Kiss don special patriotic costumes. Sweet Greets are also available with JR and Twizz with her friends. The Hersheypark app details appearance times and locations.

Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Qualifier

The world’s top hot dog eaters and rising challengers return to Hersheypark on June 19 to compete in the final qualifying event for the legendary Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July contest. Guests can watch the classic American tradition at 2 p.m. in The Boardwalk at Hersheypark water park. 

Hersheypark Water Park Enhancements

Hersheypark introduces two all-new water play areas, boasting 45 aquatic elements within the existing Bayside Pier, this summer.

A new shade-filled play zone, The Inlet at Bayside Pier, features water-spouting dolphins and fish, and whimsical water spray features. Also new, The Island at Bayside Pier debuts towering 10-foot-tall palm trees that tip buckets of refreshing water. 

Both new areas feature rubberized decking for additional guest comfort, allowing guests to sit and splash under shaded canopies. The new open design also allows families to seamlessly flow between other water attractions and cool off faster with access to the abundant water features. 

Open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, The Boardwalk at Hersheypark features 16 attractions and one million gallons of water—from thrilling water slides and a water coaster to a lazy river for relaxation seekers and zero-depth entry areas for the youngest water lovers. The water park is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark, as part of three parks in one.

Live Entertainment in Hershey

Hersheypark Stadium presented by Penn State Health kicks off another season of music under the stars in June. Built in 1939, the historic venue hosts 13 concerts this summer, including Forrest Frank, Guns ‘N Roses, Chris Stapleton, Kesha and Pitbull, to name a few. The Stadium is also an official stop on the America250PA Commonwealth Concert Series, featuring a free performance on June 13 by the Avett Brothers and special guests.

New for summer 2026, an additional Premium Viewing Deck (the second for the historic Stadium) allows guests premium seating, access to exclusive food and beverage options, a dedicated restroom and designated parking and entrance.

Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Bar Tour Ride

In celebration of America’s 250^th birthday, the classic, free Chocolate Tour Ride at Hershey's Chocolate World is getting an Americana summer overlay from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The refreshed experience features a reimagined version of the original “Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Bar” theme song, along with Americana-inspired touches like updated décor in the Barnyard scene, bringing a nostalgic twist while honoring everything guests love about this beloved tradition.

In a savory and spirited celebration of National Whiskey Day on March 27, The Chocolatier will debut a limited-time "Beef and Bourbon" menu. This unique culinary event will run for one week only, from Monday, March 23, through Sunday, March 29, 2026. 

The menu is a carefully curated tribute to two classic American flavors, featuring exclusive dishes crafted from high-quality, locally sourced beef from Bow Creek Farm. Complementing the hearty fare is an assortment of expertly crafted whiskey- and bourbon-based cocktails, available for guests aged 21 and over. Even dessert has been thoughtfully integrated into this theme. Although ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is a wonderful destination any day of the week, visitors will find that Fridays in February offer a particularly sweet incentive to stop by.

The Zoo has rolled out its special Fantastic Fridays ticket promotion, making the end of the Valentine’s Day work week the perfect time for a unique winter visit. This limited-time offer provides guests a 50 percent discount on both regular adult and junior/senior admission tickets. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or in person at the Admissions Building.

Live Insect Feedings at Hershey Gardens

Friday, Feb. 13; 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Hershey Gardens is open daily in February from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Now through March 31, visitors can enjoy reduced winter pricing. As a bonus, guests who purchase a gift membership in person through Feb. 14 will receive a themed Valentine’s Day gift box and two Gardens tickets. 

On Feb. 13 at noon, guests can stop by the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory to watch insectivores (insect-eating animals) enjoy a special, nutritious snack. During the Live Feedings at the Zoology Zone Interactive Cart, guests will learn about each of the predatory insects, frogs, arachnids and the feeder insects. This special activity is included in general admission. 

BYOB Truffles for Couples at The Hershey Story

Friday, Feb. 13; 5:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

Chocolate lovers, rejoice! The Hershey Story Museum is hosting a new BYOB Truffles for Couples, with availability still remaining for Feb. 13. The special evening full of decadence and fun begins by tasting single-origin warm drinking chocolate from around the world. Participants will then partake in a one-hour Chocolate Lab class where they can hand-roll traditional dark chocolate ganache, coat it in milk or white chocolate, and finish with a sweet array of toppings. Each guest will package their truffles in a charming box and receive a personalized milk chocolate bar and a long-stemmed red rose to take home as a sweet souvenir. Participants will also learn about the courtship and marriage of Milton and Catherine Hershey, as well as how chocolate is grown and processed.

The cost is $65 per couple. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Please note that space is limited to 24 participants per session.

ZooAmerica Animal Attraction Adult Camp

Saturday, Feb. 14; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Adult animal lovers can further spice up their Valentine’s Day with the Animal Attraction Adult Camp on Feb. .14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants will learn all about how animals “woo” each other through an up-close look at ambassador animals, enrichment activities and more! The cost for a single session is $75 per person, with registration available online.

Winter Bird Watch at Hershey Gardens

Saturday, Feb. 14; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Bird lovers can bring the whole family—and their binoculars—to identify the various birds that call Hershey Gardens home during the winter. On Valentine’s Day, the Winter Bird Watch is called Love is on the Wing: Bird ID and Mate Selection. Participants will walk through Project Feederwatch, go on a unique guided bird walk and learn about identification and feeding. For the youngest birders, additional bird family crafts and activities will be offered in the classroom. 

The experience, offered every Saturday in February in partnership with Quittapahilla Audubon Society, is included with general admission. Registration is required by calling 717-508-5968.

Zoolentine’s Days at ZooAmerica

Saturday, Feb. 14; 1 p.m.

In celebration of the season of love, guests can watch Zoo naturalists give Valentine-themed treats to select animals each Saturday in February, including Valentine's Day, starting at 1 p.m. This sweet Zoolentine’s Days activity is included with ZooAmerica admission.

Public Skating at GIANT Center and Hersheypark Arena

Saturday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15; 2-4 p.m.

Nothing says love like skating into the arms of your significant other at two Hershey Entertainment venues over President’s Day Weekend. Public skating is offered on Valentine’s Day from 2-4 p.m. at GIANT Center, home of the Hershey Bears AHL hockey team, making for a unique outing for active individuals. The fun continues the following day, Feb. 15, at the historic Hersheypark Arena, where the public can lace up their skates for another afternoon session, running from 2-4 p.m.

Pricing starts at $6 per person and varies based on age and group size. Children three and under are free. Please note that skate rental fees are typically separate from admission and are available on-site.

Snoopy Meet & Greet at Hershey’s Chocolate World

Saturday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15; Times vary

Snoopy came to Hershey’s Chocolate World just in time for Valentine's Day to visit with all of his chocolate-loving friends! Guests can meet Snoopy free of charge and snap a photo with him at various times over President’s Day Weekend. 

Other experiences include a free chocolate tour ride to see how cocoa beans become world-famous Hershey’s Chocolate and shopping for endless amounts of chocolate, including limited-edition treats. Tickets can be purchased for optional chocolate-enhanced experiences, including Create Your Own Candy Bar and Reese’s Stuff Your Cup.

Candies & Curiosities Scavenger Hunt at The Hershey Story

Saturday, Feb. 14, through Monday, Feb. 16; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Those visiting The Hershey Story on Feb. 14-16 can participate in a Candies & Curiosities Scavenger Hunt. The sweet activity is included in general admission between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Museum visitors can elevate their experience with Tastings at The Hershey Story, offered daily from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. From fruity African chocolate flavors to Indonesian chocolate with caramel overtones, participants will taste a flight of warm drinking chocolates from around the world that inspired Milton Hershey.

Chocolate Lab Classes at The Hershey Story

Inspired by Milton Hershey’s own candy-making apprenticeship, the Chocolate Lab at The Hershey Story explores the distinctive qualities of chocolate through fun, hands-on experiences and interactive demonstrations. Educational 45-minute classes are offered daily over the long weekend for those interested in rolling up their sleeves and trying their hand at chocolate pouring, decorating and tasting. The February class themes include The Heart of Chocolate, Lovely Bar and Try It with Truffles. 

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of the visit. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Hersheypark Christmas Candylane

Open 12 to 4 p.m.

Hersheypark is open for Christmas Candylane on Dec. 31 from 12 to 4 p.m. The holiday attraction features five million twinkling lights, holiday thrills on select rides and coasters (weather and maintenance permitting), an up-close look at all nine of Santa’s reindeer, TREEville trail with 25 trees that share the stories of The Sweetest Place On Earth, signature hot chocolate, seasonal treats and more. Guests can also look forward to meeting their favorite Hershey Characters donned in their coziest winter apparel at a new location near Reese's Cupfusion. 

Please note that Santa is only available for photos through Dec. 24, but his reindeer will be at the Mary N. Bright Airfield in Hersheypark through Jan. 4.

Tickets also include entry to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park only when accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. ZooAmerica is open on Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested in only visiting the Zoo can purchase separate tickets online or in person at the ZooAmerica admissions building. 

Hershey Sweet Lights

Open 5 to 9 p.m.

Just outside of Hersheypark, Hershey Sweet Lights presented by PPL Electric Utilities drive-through attraction is open on Dec. 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. Families can hop in the car and marvel at more than 500 illuminated, animated holiday light displays spanning two miles of fields and wooded trails. Many displays follow unique themes, such as "The 12 Days of Christmas," an Enchanted Forest, Hersheypark rides and Hershey Bears hockey, as well as a region inspired by the Northern Lights. Guests can download the Hersheypark app to enjoy holiday music, powered by iHeart, while viewing the lights.

Guests are encouraged to buy early and online to save. Admission for a single car (seats up to 8 people) on Dec. 31 is $29.99 plus taxes and fees when purchased in advance online. On-site pricing without a pre-purchased ticket is also available at the full gate price of $54.15.

Sold Out: New Year's Eve Celebration at The Hotel Hershey

Seatings begin at 6 p.m.

Overnight guests of The Hotel Hershey can ring in the New Year with a sweet evening celebration complete with a grand dinner and dessert buffet prepared by the Hotel's expert culinary team. Seatings begin at 6 p.m. After dinner, guests can take part in a variety of family entertainment leading up to midnight, including karaoke, games, a magic show and, of course, the countdown to 2026 with a DJ-hosted dance party.

The cost is $165 per adult (ages 12 & up) and $105 per child (ages 3 - 11). There is no cost for children under the age of 3. This event is exclusively for overnight guests of The Hotel Hershey and reservations are required. Please note that this event is currently sold out. Guests can call 717-534-8800 to be added to the waitlist.

Holiday-Themed Chocolate Lab Classes

Guests can enjoy a 45-minute holiday-themed chocolate lab class at The Hershey Story Museum where they learn about chocolate and make their own chocolate treats. Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of the visit. New Year’s Eve Celebration at Hershey’s Chocolate World

Celebration begins at 3 p.m.

Hershey’s Chocolate World is counting down to a sweet New Year and invites guests to a family-friendly party, complete with a DJ, visits from the Hershey Characters and more, on Dec. 31 from 3 to 8:30 p.m.

Downtown Hershey New Year’s Eve Celebration

Activities begin at 11 a.m. and last through midnight

Downtown Hershey will ring in 2026 with a can't-miss celebration for all to enjoy, featuring kid-friendly entertainment, main stage music and a unique laser and pyrotechnics display featuring Americana elements to honor the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. 

Families can look forward to New Year's countdowns and bubble wrap stomps at The Hershey Story Museum during the day at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. For younger guests who may not make it til midnight, the event will feature a family hour from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., including local music from children’s musician Holly Serio, face painting, vendors and more. The Hershey Characters will visit the main stage at 8:30 p.m. for a final bubble wrap stomp and dance party.

Main stage music performances will begin at 9 p.m. Returning to headline this year’s event is Pennsylvania quartet and TikTok sensation Burn the Jukebox, following their crowd-pleasing show in 2024. The group’s set will include pop and rock hits spanning over five decades, along with their own original songs. Opening for Burn the Jukebox is the five-person cover band Fully Stocked, pumping out energy and fun with rock and pop songs from the 1970s to today. 

At midnight, Denny Logan and the Hershey Characters will lead a countdown to help raise the Hershey's KISS before an immersive laser and pyrotechnics display – even if it’s foggy.

The seasonal event at the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania is open on select dates and all weekends from Nov. 14, 2025, through Jan. 4, 2026. Add "s'more" flavor to your Hersheypark visit! Guests can visit the Create Your Own S'mores cart, located in the Founder's Way region across from 1906 Grill, to purchase a s'mores kit which makes two traditional s'mores. Guests will be able to roast marshmallows themselves at this location. 

For even more s'more fun, guests can visit Fahrenheit S'mores Cart, located next to the entrance to The Cabanas, for prepared Traditional S'mores or Premium Cookie S'mores featuring Hershey's Chocolate or Reese's. Please note that guests will not be able to roast marshmallows themselves at this location.

Kissmas TREEts Collectible

Back by popular demand is the Kissmas TREEts Collectible, available for $28.99 plus tax. Guests can purchase this sweet souvenir inside Hersheypark at the Mary N. Bright Airfield (Fahrenheit Catering), The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen outside of the front gate and at the entrance to Hershey Sweet Lights. The exclusive container features three tiers of snacks, including caramel corn, savory pretzel mix, chocolate-covered pretzels and fudge, plus a lanyard for easy, hands-free transportation.

New this year is a second version of the Kissmas TREEts Collectible, serving as a cookie decorating kit. This version comes in the same Christmas tree container and is filled with sugar cookies, icing, sprinkles and fudge. It will be available at Milton's Ice Cream Parlor, Create Your Own S'mores (located across from 1906 Grill) and Overlook Food Court.

The Avenue of the Afterlife is home to plenty of entertainment that everyone of all ages can enjoy! Dance to the music of the DJ Dance Party throughout the night or say hello to various strolling characters and stilt walkers. New this year, guests can visit the main stage to see two show-stopping acts featuring jugglers and acrobats, plus the return of the firebreathers previously seen in Darkstone's Hollow. Showtimes can be found below:

Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights Return

Guests can experience another exciting year of Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights presented by Reese's and Kit Kat® as they play by day and fright by night at the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania. 

The USA TODAY 10Best-Nominated Theme Park Halloween Event includes family-friendly offerings with thrills on 50 rides and attractions (weather and maintenance permitting), lights-out rides on select coasters, trick-or-treating for children 12 and under, Hershey Characters glow dance parties, the Avenue of the Afterlife with street performers and the Creatures Of The Night flashlight tour at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park (starting Oct. 3). 

Then at 6 p.m., the nightmare continues for Dark Nights with five haunted houses and four scare zones - more than ever - including the all-new Kill ‘N Fill Garage haunted house and the new Path of Shadows: Coven’s Curse scare zone. 

The seasonal event also features an elevated food and beverage scene with more than 50 scary-good eats and spell-binding drinks, such as Flamin' Hot Cheetos Mac and Cheese Balls and Brown Sugar Apple Cider Boba, to satisfy any craving. Visit Spirit’s Rooftop Bar at The Chocolatier

Located in Hershey’s Chocolatetown region, The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio has dusted off the cobwebs for Spirit’s Rooftop Bar. Guests who dare to explore the haunted rooftop bar will find a dozen limited-time spell-binding cocktails, sinful shareables and dreadfully delicious desserts to enjoy as spirits haunt the scarred.

Spirit's Rooftop Bar is open starting at 4:30 p.m. on all Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights operating days through Nov. 2, 2025, weather permitting. Seating is first-come, first-served, and reservations are not accepted. A Hersheypark ticket is not required to enjoy Spirit's Rooftop Bar. 

Experience Creatures Of The Night at ZooAmerica starting Oct. 3

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park will host its popular Creatures Of The Night seasonal event on more dates than ever this fall as it celebrates its 45th anniversary. The Zoo will open after dark for guests from 6 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays only from Oct. 3 through Nov. 1. In celebration of the event anniversary, ZooAmerica will offer a special nighttime flashlight tour and new themed activities included with admission. Creatures Of The Night is the only time of year that the Zoo is open after dark for guests of all ages to explore the nighttime habits of the nocturnal North American animals.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.ZooAmerica.com. ZooAmerica is included with a Hersheypark ticket only by accessing the Zoo through the Hersheypark bridge during posted Park hours.

Attend A Hershey Bears Game

Fall calls for Hershey Bears hockey! The oldest franchise in the American Hockey League will take the ice for its 88th season in a home opener at GIANT Center on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. against the Syracuse Crunch. All fans are invited to attend a red carpet event on the GIANT Center plaza before the event, with more details to come.

Promotional games happening this fall include Penn State Health Pink The Rink Night on Oct. 18 and Reese's Trick-Or-Treat Night on Oct. 25, where fans 14 & under will receive a trick-or-treat bag upon entry and have the opportunity to trick-or-treat around the concourse during pre-game and intermissions. 

Explore Hershey’s Chocolate World

Did you know the world's largest Hershey’s store is right next to Hersheypark? Hershey’s Chocolate World is filled with your favorite Hershey’s candy and fun attractions for the whole family. On weekends this fall, Chocolate World will host sweet seasonal events like a Trick-Or-Treat Trail, where guests can dress up in costumes and collect candy at four stops, or a Trick-Or-Treat Trolley ride, a seasonal variation of the original trolley show. Other activities include an opportunity to Create Your Own Candy Bar, a FREE Hershey’s Chocolate Tour and more. 

Take A Stroll Through Hershey Gardens

Hershey Gardens is a 23-acre walk-through botanical display garden, boasting a variety of autumn flora and foliage this season. During your visit, be sure to check out the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory, which includes a year-round indoor tropical Butterfly Atrium featuring 600 butterflies from around the world. The atrium is one of only 25 year-round indoor tropical butterfly atriums in the U.S. 

Visit The Hershey Story Museum

Visit The Hershey Story Museum to learn all about the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, the town he created, and the lives he touched. Here are seven ways to stay #HersheyparkHappy even when the forecast is calling for rain in Central Pennsylvania.

Ride Under Cover

Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides with thrills for everyone. Although the weather may force a small handful of rides to temporarily close during scheduled operating hours, many of our rides can safely operate in light rain. Plus, there are a few that always remain open, maintenance permitting, for guest enjoyment under cover. During heavy precipitation, guests can take a spin on Laff Trakk, the first indoor, spinning, glow-coaster in the United States; become an agent and protect the factory on Reese's Cupfusion; bump family and friends out of the way on Fender Bender; and take a ride back in time on the Carrousel or Kissing Tower.

Tip: Parkgoers can stay up to date on ride availability and wait times with the Hersheypark app! The team will reopen rides as soon as safe to do so.

Test Your Knowledge 

Guests can catch Twizz in the all new Twizz's Twisted Trivia stage show inside the Chevrolet Music Box Theatre, where they compete in a high-energy game of trivia, featuring exciting surprises and a chance for everyone to play along. Each round includes popular Hershey Characters, music, dances and Hersheypark Happy charm. Plus, after the performance, guests can stick around to meet the characters! Daily showtimes are at 2:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.  

Tip: Guests should check the Hersheypark app on the day of their visit for exact showtimes and further details. Character appearances are subject to change based on availability.

Play Arcade Games

Guests can play their way through an unexpected shower in the two arcades at Hersheypark. Play Dome Arcade, which is located in the Pioneer Frontier region, features video games, crane machines and redemption games. Across the Park is Overlook Arcade, the largest arcade located in the Kissing Tower Hill region. This arcade offers Skeeball in addition to the games found at Play Dome Arcade.

Tip: Guests will need to purchase a separate Games Card or Time Play pass, which they can load via cashless payment at an in-Park Gaming Card kiosk. All Season Pass Holders can get a $75 bonus with purchase of a $150 Game Card - activate your Game Card at Overlook Arcade or Playdome Arcade to get your 15% off games all year.

Try a Virtual Reality Experience

Hersheypark offers Hyperdeck, an immersive, virtual reality experience located inside Overlook Arcade. Up to four players enter into a dynamic virtual world featuring a full-motion floor and multi-sensory effects like strong winds, heat and earth-rattling movements. 

Tip: The game continues outside as spectators help or challenge players via tablets located around the exterior of the Hyperdeck stations. 

Grab a Bite to Eat

What better time to rest and refuel at an amusement park than during a brief summer storm? Hersheypark offers a variety of covered and indoor eateries for guests to grab a snack and remain dry at the same time. We recommend stopping by The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio and Milton's Ice Cream Parlor, located at the front of the Park in Hershey's Chocolatetown. Guests can wait out the rain with some ice cream in hand. A win-win!

A fan favorite, Chick-fil-A serves up handcrafted lunch and dinner items Monday through Saturday in the Pioneer Frontier region. Guests in the Kissing Tower Hill region can swing on over to Overlook Food Court, which offers different concession locations featuring grilled burgers, made-to-order wraps, handcrafted salads, pizza and much more. Shop ‘Til You Drop

There are more than 20 shops inside Hersheypark, many of which provide cover from the rain. Guests can visit Hersheypark Supply Co. to browse the largest collection of apparel, gifts, toys and more exclusive to Hersheypark. Another option is to head to HP Collections in Chocolatetown for premier brand apparel and collectibles, with the all-new HP Toys & Collectables right next door. Also new for 2025 is Surfside Styles, a larger Life is Good location and a stand-alone Puppie Love store.

Tip: All major credit cards, Hersheypark gift cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay are accepted. Guests who arrive at the Park with cash only can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at six Cash-To-Card kiosks throughout the Park at no fee. Prepaid cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

Visit the Zoo

Entrance to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, an 11-acre walk-through zoo, is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark when accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during public operating hours. The best part? Some of the animals are located inside, providing an option for visitors to stay dry. In the Desert and Southwest Swamps buildings, visitors can see spoonbills, various species of rattlesnakes, an ocelot and more.

Tip: The Zoovenirs gift shop is another convenient location to avoid the rain at ZooAmerica.

Those planning to celebrate the Fourth of July at Hersheypark can add on an all-you-care-to-eat Star Spangled buffet picnic in the Fahrenheit Catering area. The menu includes multiple salads, sides, entrees and assorted desserts. 

Adult tickets are $21.20, and child tickets are $14.84. You can purchase tickets online. Hersheypark Season Pass Holders can purchase discounted picnic tickets in their Self-Service Account under Add-Ons. Summer Fun Card holders are not eligible for discounted picnic tickets.

3. Make A Splash at The Boardwalk at Hersheypark

Cool off at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park! Thrill-seekers can enjoy racing slides on Whitecap Racer and rocket through high-speed tunnels on Breaker’s Edge Water Coaster, while others can soak up 1,360 feet of sweet, tubular relaxation on the Intercoastal Waterway lazy river. The East Coast Waterworks attraction provides splashing fun for all ages, complete with nearly 600 interactive water toys, seven slides, two crawl tunnels and a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket.

The five-time Entertainer of The Year who has played for nearly 15 million fans during his career will visit Hersheypark Stadium this summer. Starting June 9, ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park will offer daily summer activities, such as special animal enrichment and training sessions for guests to watch, weather permitting. The full schedule will be posted online. 

ZooAmerica is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark only when accessed through the Hersheypark bridge during posted Park hours. Regular admission to ZooAmerica for guests ages 9-61 is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Admission for juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ is $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. ZooAmerica Pass Holders can enjoy unlimited year-round visits to the Zoo, and 2025 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders get into the Zoo for free, too.

Hersheypark, the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania is twisting up the fun this summer with the premiere of the all-new Twizzlers Twisted Gravity giant swing on May 24.
