Hersheypark, a world-class 121-acre amusement park in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is open daily for the summer season through Sept. 7. Summer tickets include three parks in one with more than 70 rides, an 11-acre water park and access to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park when entering from within Hersheypark.

The summer ride lineup features 15 mild-to-wild coasters (the most in the Northeast), various family-friendly attractions and more than 20 kiddie rides spread throughout the Park-

New Splashes at Water Park

Hersheypark is home to The Boardwalk, an 11-acre water park with one million gallons of water among 16 water attractions. The water park is located inside the amusement park, making it easy to cool off between coaster rides. 

New for 2026, Guests can look forward to a brand-new interactive water play experience at The Boardwalk within Bayside Pier, featuring 45 fun-filled aquatic elements designated for all ages. 

• The Inlet at Bayside Pier introduces a shaded splash area complete with playful dolphin and fish water features, along with whimsical spray elements perfect for cooling off on warm summer days. 

• Nearby, The Island at Bayside Pier features towering 10-foot palm trees with tipping water buckets that deliver refreshing surprises.

Hersheypark celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with patriotic events and activations all summer long, including the following:

Visit North American Animals at ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is an 11-acre, walk-through zoo that cares for more than 60 species from five regions of North America. Guests can see a black bear, wolves, Canada lynx, elk and other animals native to this continent.

ZooAmerica is open daily this summer from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 7. To enhance a summer visit, guests can enjoy daily activities, like special animal enrichments, animal encounters and keeper chats, included with admission. 

Regular admission to ZooAmerica is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ are $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. Hersheypark tickets include ZooAmerica only when accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. The Zoo is the perfect place for families visiting Hersheypark to take a quick break from the thrills.

Dine Al Fresco at Hershey Social Bar + Restaurant 

Summer means outdoor dining in Hershey is in full swing. Visitors to Hershey can head downtown and enjoy the views of the Hershey’s Kisses-shaped street lights from the patio of the new Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar. With a wide array of food and drink offerings, Hershey Social has something for everyone after a long day at Hersheypark, before a show, or just because. Plus, daily happy hour specials are available from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Eat on the Patio at The Chocolatier

With fun indoor booth seating themed around Comet and Tilt-A-Whirl to an outdoor patio offering one-of-a-kind views of Candymonium and our 107-year-old Carrousel, The Chocolatier is a visual experience like no other. An open kitchen serves up classic family fare with a fun Hershey twist. Diners can indulge in a Reese’s Take5 Chicken Sandwich, Heath Bar Crusted Salmon or Cocoa-Dusted Beef Short Ribs along with over-the-top Hershey's candy-inspired milkshakes, sundaes and desserts. One thing is for certain: a trip to The Chocolatier is sure to be as fun as it is delicious.

New for this summer, before Hersheypark Stadium shows, guests can enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat buffet on the patio starting three hours before concerts begin, featuring elevated summer barbecue favorites with themed cocktails to celebrate the artists performing that evening.  

Reservations are strongly encouraged for indoor table service, but not available for outdoor patio dining. Guests interested in re-entering Hersheypark after enjoying the patio will need to get their hands stamped. 

Relax at the Spa

Visitors can indulge in summer relaxation at The Spa At The Hotel Hershey resort spa and MeltSpa by Hershey day spa with signature chocolate treatments and seasonal treatment collections. Hersheypark All-American Summer Celebration

The centerpiece of the holiday celebration is Hersheypark, which commemorates its 120th operating year alongside the nation's semiquincentennial. Tickets include three parks in one with more than 70 rides, a water park and a zoo (open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

Visitors to the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania can experience a patriotic transformation across the 121 acres for America's 250th anniversary, featuring decor, Americana-themed ride overlays on attractions like Laff Trakk and Twin Turnpike, and red, white, and blue light packages on coasters. The in-Park entertainment lineup includes Sweet Greets with Hershey Characters dressed in festive patriotic attire and Sweet Land of Liberty: A Celebration of the American Songbook in the air-conditioned Music Box Theatre.

Fireworks Presented by HERSHEY’S

The highlight of the holiday weekend is the Fireworks presented by HERSHEY’S. Epic displays will light up the iconic Hershey skyline at 10:15 p.m. on both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

Hersheypark offers Fireworks From The Shore, a special add-on to elevate the fireworks viewing experience. It features an unlimited buffet of sweet treats, including ice cream novelties, popcorn, fountain beverages, and a cash bar, while watching the fireworks from The Shore in the water park. Tickets are $24.99 per person.

Star-Spangled Picnic at Hersheypark

Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Parkgoers can upgrade their July 4th holiday experience at Hersheypark with a star-spangled, all-you-care-to-eat picnic buffet. Make Yankee Doodle Chocolate Bars at The Hershey Story

The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with special Yankee Doodle Chocolate Bar-themed Chocolate Lab classes over the Fourth of July weekend. During this 45-minute class, guests can try their hand at chocolate pouring and decorating as they mold a milk chocolate bar and top it off with red, white and blue candy sprinkles to create their own edible American flag. The Boardwalk at Hersheypark water park opens daily for the summer season later this month, with the debut of two new water play areas boasting 45 aquatic elements in the existing Bayside Pier area. 

• A new shade-filled play zone, The Inlet at Bayside Pier, will feature water-spouting dolphins and fish, and whimsical water spray features.
• The Island at Bayside Pier will debut towering 10-foot-tall palm trees that tip buckets of refreshing water.

Both new areas will feature rubberized decking for additional guest comfort, allowing guests to sit and splash under shaded canopies. The new open design will also allow families to seamlessly flow between other water attractions and cool off faster with access to the abundant water features.

The chase for the Calder Cup is on! The Hershey Bears have qualified for the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs, with the first games of the series against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this month. The Bears will take on the Penguins for game 3 of the Atlantic Division Semifinals at GIANT Center in a best-of-five series. This is Hershey's ninth all-time playoff series against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, making the Penguins Hershey's most frequent postseason opponent among active AHL franchises.

The Hershey Story Museum invites the public to its inaugural book club discussion. Twenty five years ago, the doors first opened to The Spa At The Hotel Hershey. Known fondly as the Chocolate Spa, it began a legacy of blending Hershey’s rich, sweet heritage with world-class relaxation.

As we celebrate the Chocolate Spa's 25th anniversary throughout the year, we are proud to honor the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) Legacy team members who are also marking 25 years of service at The Spa At The Hotel Hershey. These team members were not only here to celebrate the opening of the property, but they have continued to be the heart of our guest experience, growing their passion for excellence and evolving from colleagues into a true spa family. Leading with Heart

Kathy Kramer - Manager of Spa Operations

Starting as a Technician and growing into Spa Manager, Kathy has many fond memories of working at the Spa for the past quarter century. Kathy recalls, “I got a tip from my Aunt that The Hotel Hershey was opening a Spa. I was working as an in-home massage therapist at the time. But I applied, interviewed in a small trailer at the time, since the Spa was under construction, and got hired! I still remember my first day after the Spa opened. We had a staff meeting and then immediately began working with guests. It was so exciting.” 

Kathy also mentioned what has stayed consistent and what has changed over the years. “The positive teamwork and working relationships have always been a driving force here. I think what has changed the most is obviously the growth of the Spa but also the popularity of Hershey destination and guests interested in the history of Milton Hershey.” 

“My journey has been filled with incredible moments, especially guest interactions I have had. From helping a guest with Parkinson’s find physical relief to building long-term friendships with regulars and even treating celebrities. The growth opportunity and the perks that HE&R provides are amazing. I have found that the true heart of this Spa is with the people I work alongside every day.” 

A 25-Year Journey of Friendship 

Selena Auman and Janet Smeltz - Esthetician and Group Sales Agent

For team members Selena and Janet, the journey to The Spa At The Hotel Hershey started at a spa in Harrisburg where they worked together. Janet, who had once visited The Hotel Hershey as a school student, remembered being in absolute awe of its extravagance. When she heard a spa was opening, she knew her and Selena had to be a part of it together.

"I wondered to myself if I could really work somewhere like The Hotel Hershey," Janet recalls. "Just the thought of it made me so excited. I told Selena we had to apply."

For Selena, who was only 17 at the time, the thought of venturing out was intimidating. "I was so young and relatively new to the industry," Selena says. "But Janet mentored me from the start. She helped me with my application and the interview process, and we were both thrilled when we got hired to continue our journey together in Hershey."

For Selena and Janet, the early days were defined by grit and excitement. While the Spa was being finished, they were tasked with building the buzz for Hotel guests. They spent their days at a table in the main lobby, selling gift certificates and telling guests about the excitement that was coming. Janet remembers the deep dive into the Hershey legacy that fueled their early passion. "Our managers took us to Milton Hershey’s homestead to learn the history behind the scenes. They transferred their energy and excitement to us. That same passion I felt on day one still exudes in the Spa today."

Over the last quarter century, their roles have evolved. Janet in the Sales Group office and Selena transitioning from a dedicated hostess to a talented Esthetician, but their bond has remained the constant. Janet describes their connection as that of a "mother hen" or an older sister, always looking out for Selena’s growth. "Watching her thrive and advance herself makes me incredibly proud," Janet says. "We’ve relied heavily on one another, and that mutual support is what got us through the busy years."

For Selena, the sentiment is mutual. "I truly grew up with these ladies, especially Janet. She took me under her wing and taught me everything she knew about operations. They’ve been like sisters to me, guiding and encouraging me every step of the way."

For both women, the true reward of 25 years isn't just the milestone, it’s the people. Janet finds her greatest joy in the personal connections made with guests, some of whom have become like family. "The best feeling in the world is when a group asks me to stop by and say hi while they eat lunch after their treatments, just to share their smiles," Janet says. "When I can book a large group and follow through to ensure they have a perfect experience, that is at the top of my list."

"I am so grateful for the opportunities I’ve received here," Selena concludes. "I’m looking forward to many more years at this beautiful resort with the best team." Janet agrees, noting that while 25 years sounds like a long time, it’s gone by in a flash. "It doesn't seem like that long because I enjoy working with people who share the same beliefs. We aren't just coworkers, we are family."

The Master of All Trades

Alisha Schell - Manager of Spa Operations

Alisha was working in a local salon when she heard a tip from a family member that The Hotel Hershey was opening a spa. She didn't hesitate. She knew immediately that she wanted to be part of something this grand.

Alisha still remembers the sheer awe of those early days after being hired. "When I toured the Spa for the first time and stepped out of the locker room onto the main staircase, it literally took my breath away," she recalls.

The excitement of working with world-class, chocolate-based products was electric, though it came with its share of growing pains. "I will never forget my first Whipped Cocoa Bath service. The bubbles came all the way out into the center of the locker room!" she laughs. “But that is where growth comes into play, which has been a constant in my 25 years here.” What makes Alisha’s 25-year tenure so remarkable is her versatility. “Over the past 25 years, I was a Hair Stylist, Nail Technician, Esthetician, performed all body treatments and trained new staff. Eight years ago, I joined the leadership team as Spa Operations Manager.”

For Alisha, the true heart of the Spa is its mission. She finds her greatest motivation in the Core Purpose of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts: supporting Milton Hershey School. "Of course providing a memorable experience for guests who visit us is wonderful" Alisha says "but what keeps me going everyday is how I am so moved by my amazing co-workers who consistently demonstrate a selfless spirit of service." "We have been here to support and motivate each other through it all," Alisha reflects. "We have truly grown up together, and I am so grateful for the opportunities and experiences I’ve received over the past 25 years. I'm looking forward to many more with the best team in the business."

Chocolate lovers, rejoice! The Hershey Story Museum is hosting a new BYOB Truffles for Couples, with availability still remaining for Feb. 13. The special evening full of decadence and fun begins by tasting single-origin warm drinking chocolate from around the world. Participants will then partake in a one-hour Chocolate Lab class where they can hand-roll traditional dark chocolate ganache, coat it in milk or white chocolate, and finish with a sweet array of toppings. Each guest will package their truffles in a charming box and receive a personalized milk chocolate bar and a long-stemmed red rose to take home as a sweet souvenir. Participants will also learn about the courtship and marriage of Milton and Catherine Hershey, as well as how chocolate is grown and processed.

ZooAmerica Animal Attraction Adult Camp

Saturday, Feb. 14; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Adult animal lovers can further spice up their Valentine’s Day with the Animal Attraction Adult Camp on Feb. .14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants will learn all about how animals “woo” each other through an up-close look at ambassador animals, enrichment activities and more! The cost for a single session is $75 per person, with registration available online.

Winter Bird Watch at Hershey Gardens

Saturday, Feb. 14; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Bird lovers can bring the whole family—and their binoculars—to identify the various birds that call Hershey Gardens home during the winter. On Valentine’s Day, the Winter Bird Watch is called Love is on the Wing: Bird ID and Mate Selection. Participants will walk through Project Feederwatch, go on a unique guided bird walk and learn about identification and feeding. For the youngest birders, additional bird family crafts and activities will be offered in the classroom. 

The experience, offered every Saturday in February in partnership with Quittapahilla Audubon Society, is included with general admission. Registration is required by calling 717-508-5968.

Zoolentine’s Days at ZooAmerica

Saturday, Feb. 14; 1 p.m.

In celebration of the season of love, guests can watch Zoo naturalists give Valentine-themed treats to select animals each Saturday in February, including Valentine's Day, starting at 1 p.m. This sweet Zoolentine’s Days activity is included with ZooAmerica admission.

Public Skating at GIANT Center and Hersheypark Arena

Saturday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15; 2-4 p.m.

Nothing says love like skating into the arms of your significant other at two Hershey Entertainment venues over President’s Day Weekend. Public skating is offered on Valentine’s Day from 2-4 p.m. at GIANT Center, home of the Hershey Bears AHL hockey team, making for a unique outing for active individuals. The fun continues the following day, Feb. 15, at the historic Hersheypark Arena, where the public can lace up their skates for another afternoon session, running from 2-4 p.m.

Pricing starts at $6 per person and varies based on age and group size. Children three and under are free. Please note that skate rental fees are typically separate from admission and are available on-site.

Snoopy Meet & Greet at Hershey’s Chocolate World

Saturday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15; Times vary

Snoopy came to Hershey’s Chocolate World just in time for Valentine's Day to visit with all of his chocolate-loving friends! Guests can meet Snoopy free of charge and snap a photo with him at various times over President’s Day Weekend. 

Other experiences include a free chocolate tour ride to see how cocoa beans become world-famous Hershey’s Chocolate and shopping for endless amounts of chocolate, including limited-edition treats. Candies & Curiosities Scavenger Hunt at The Hershey Story

Those visiting The Hershey Story on Feb. 14-16 can participate in a Candies & Curiosities Scavenger Hunt. The sweet activity is included in general admission between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Museum visitors can elevate their experience with Tastings at The Hershey Story, offered daily from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. From fruity African chocolate flavors to Indonesian chocolate with caramel overtones, participants will taste a flight of warm drinking chocolates from around the world that inspired Milton Hershey.

Inspired by Milton Hershey’s own candy-making apprenticeship, the Chocolate Lab at The Hershey Story explores the distinctive qualities of chocolate through fun, hands-on experiences and interactive demonstrations. Educational 45-minute classes are offered daily over the long weekend for those interested in rolling up their sleeves and trying their hand at chocolate pouring, decorating and tasting. The February class themes include The Heart of Chocolate, Lovely Bar and Try It with Truffles. 

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of the visit. Children must be at least 5 years old to enter the Lab. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Treat your loved one to a special “Truffles for Couples” Chocolate Lab class at The Hershey Story on Feb. 13 and 14,  with evening classes being offered from 5:45 to 7 p.m. and 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. Begin the experience tasting single-origin warm drinking chocolates from around the world, followed by a special one-hour Chocolate Lab class where you'll have the chance to hand-roll and decorate traditional dark chocolate ganache truffles. 

Each guest will package their delicious truffles into a charming box and receive a personalized milk chocolate bar and long-stemmed rose to take home. Participants will enjoy learning about the courtship and marriage of Milton and Catherine Hershey, as well as the process of growing and processing chocolate during their interactive chocolate-making session. Space for the event is limited, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Please note that tickets are non-refundable. This class is most suitable for adults. Up to two couples will be assigned to the same table.

Timeless Design & Historic Influence

The Spa opened in January 2001 as a 17,000-square-foot facility. Due to overwhelming guest demand, the facility underwent a massive expansion just three years later in 2004. This project nearly doubled the spa's size to 40,000 sq. ft., establishing it as one of the largest resort spas in the nation. The expansion not only increased the number of treatment rooms but also introduced The Oasis, an exclusive restaurant for spa guests where dining in a plush robe and sipping on a Hershey’s Signature Martini is the standard.

The holiday season kicks into high gear at Hersheypark this month! Hersheypark Christmas Candylane features five million lights decking the 121-acre amusement park, seven coasters and select family rides (weather and maintenance permitting) plus the holiday debut of Twizzlers Twisted Gravity. Located up the road from Hersheypark, Hershey Sweet Lights presented by PPL is a separately ticketed drive-through attraction featuring two miles of fields and wooded trails decorated with more than 500 illuminated, animated displays. Many displays follow unique themes, such as "The 12 Days of Christmas," an Enchanted Forest, Hersheypark rides and Hershey Bears hockey, as well as a region inspired by the Northern Lights. Guests can download the Hersheypark app to enjoy holiday music, powered by iHeart, while viewing the lights.

Hershey Sweet Lights admission pricing varies depending on the date of visit and the type of vehicle. Please buy online for significant savings. Single cars (seats up to 8 people) range from $29.99 to $34.99 when purchased online. Vans (seats 9-15 people) are $59.15. Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning and Daytime EMMY Award-nominated vocal quintet Pentatonix is hitting the road on what promises to be their boldest, brightest and biggest holiday tour yet. 12. Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Pitt Panthers Men’s Basketball Game at GIANT Center

This month marks the return of Wild Winter Adventure at ZooAmerica, a 3-hour program that teaches about the survival skills used by North American animals during the cold winter months. Renowned comedian Bert Kreischer returns to the stage in 2025 with his brand-new tour, “Permission To Party.” The tour features more than 40 dates across the U.S., including a visit to GIANT Center.

Kreischer’s career has evolved from Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Number One Partier in the Nation” to one of the top-grossing stand-up comics in the business, a movie star, a leading podcaster and an entrepreneur.

9. Warren Zeiders

Saturday, Nov. 22; 7:30 p.m.

A native of The Sweetest Place On Earth, breakout country music star Warren Zeiders will perform at GIANT Center as part of his 27-date “Relapse, Lies, & Betrayal Tour”. Zeiders is a true road warrior and shows no signs of slowing down, playing bigger markets and bigger venues. The 2025 “Relapse” tour dates follow his successful 2023-24 “Pretty Little Poison” headlining tour, which sold out more than 55 shows across the U.S. and Canada, including a standout performance at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium and appearances at major festivals. At just 25 years old, Zeiders has already surpassed 3.6 billion global career streams.

10. Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Sunday, Nov. 23; 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Multi-platinum rock group Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) will return to Hershey, Pa., for two shows as part of their highly anticipated 2025 winter tour, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO & More.” The show comes to life with a special production featuring a second set of hits and fan favorites, including a 25th anniversary salute to “Beethoven’s Last Night,” along with pyros, lasers and the powerful storytelling that has captured the hearts of generations. 

11. Matt Rife

Friday, Nov. 28; 8 p.m.

Hugely popular comedian Matt Rife will visit GIANT Center as part of his 2025 “Stay Golden Tour.” Produced by Live Nation, the tour will see Rife playing the biggest rooms of his career thus far, with 32 arena and amphitheater dates across North America. The “Stay Golden Tour” follows Rife’s wildly successful “ProbleMATTic World Tour,” which saw the comedian sell over 600,000 tickets across 250+ shows in less than 48 hours following the announcement in June 2023. The multi-year tour included shows across North America, Europe, the U.K. and Australia.

12. Cheer On The Hershey Bears

The Hershey Bears continue their 2025-26 season – their 88th season of play as the oldest continuously operating team in the American Hockey League – with six home games at GIANT Center in November. Promo nights this month include the Hometown Heroes game on Nov. 9 with military-themed activities and recognition throughout the evening, as well as Hersheypark Pass Night on Nov. 16 where all fans will receive a 2026 Hersheypark ticket, valid for one-day admission through June 30, 2026.

13. Author Of “Thrill Ride: The Transformation Of Hersheypark” Book Signing at The Hershey Story Museum

Wednesday, Nov. 5; 6 to 7 p.m.

Published author and Penn State Harrisburg professor Dr. John R. Haddad will hold a presentation and book signing for his latest book, “Thrill Ride: The Transformation of Hersheypark” at The Hershey Story Museum. "Thrill Ride" takes readers on a journey through Hersheypark’s transformation from a traditional amusement park for chocolate factory employees to a major attraction enjoyed by millions. He will also present highlights of Hersheypark’s fascinating story and share his inspiration for writing the book. The event is free, with the book available for purchase at the museum shop.

14. Seasonal Eats, Sips and Events at The Chocolatier

The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is open daily for lunch and dinner. In addition to the regular Fun-To-Table menu, diners can order from a seasonal menu of fall-inspired shareables, entrées, desserts and cocktails for guests 21 and older. 

Guests can also enjoy a weekday special, featuring $10 flatbreads and $12 milkshakes, as well as select shareables, every Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Later this month, Breakfast With Santa returns to The Chocolatier! The family-friendly event is offered on Saturdays and Sundays, plus select Fridays from Nov. 28 through Dec. 21 and Dec. 24 from 8-10:45 a.m. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet and tons of holiday family fun. 15. Visit ZooAmerica 

Open Daily in November; 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m (closed on Thanksgiving Day)

It’s a sweet month to visit ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, as many North American animals in the outdoor habitats, such as the gray wolves, river otters and Canada Lynx, are more active when the temperature drops.

Tickets are available for purchase online or at the ZooAmerica Admissions Building. Regular admission for guests ages 9-61 is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Admission for juniors (ages 3-8) and seniors (ages 62 and above) is $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. 

ZooAmerica is included with a Hersheypark ticket only when accessed through the Hersheypark bridge during posted Park hours. Please note that the Zoo naturalists care for the reindeer at Hersheypark, so a Christmas Candylane ticket is required to view them.

Head to Hersheypark Amusement Park, Open Daily This Summer

Hersheypark, a world-class 121-acre amusement park in Hershey, Pa., is open daily for the summer season through Sept. 1, 2025. Summer tickets include three experiences in one with more than 70 rides, an 11-acre water park and access to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park when entering from within Hersheypark.

The summer ride lineup features 15 mild to wild coasters (the most in the Northeast), various family-friendly attractions and more than 20 kiddie rides spread throughout the Park. New for 2025, thrill seekers can experience multiple zero G moments on the tallest Screamin' Swing in the world, Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, as they ascend 137 adrenaline-pumping feet and defy gravity at 68 MPH.

Continuing the Twizzlers celebration, guests can participate in a high-energy game of trivia featuring the Hershey Characters during the all-new Twizz's Twisted Trivia show inside Chevrolet Music Box Theatre. Other entertainment offerings that come with a ticket include daily Hershey Character meet and greets and Our Friends From The Sea shows featuring seals and sea lions. Guests can save on Hersheypark tickets when purchasing them on Hersheypark.com with the current offers, including $50 tickets available for purchase through July 20 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Kissing Tower.

Make a Splash at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark

Included with a Hersheypark ticket, park-goers can beat the summer heat by cooling off at The Boardwalk, a water park inside Hersheypark with one million gallons of water among 16 water attractions. Guests can shoot through one of six water slides at Coastline Plunge, take a ride on Breakers Edge water coaster, float down a lazy river, catch a wave in the 378,000-gallon wave pool, play with 600 interactive water features in East Coast Waterworks or race friends on Whitecap Racer.

Families with young children can splash and play all day at three kiddie attractions in the water park. Sandcastle Cove features water slides, cannons, water curtains, jets and a pool that reaches depths of 18 inches. Shoreline Sprayground is a water playground with misters, bubblers, dancing fountains, spraying jets, water curtains and a drenching tipping bucket. Bayside Pier is a great attraction for the youngest guests, with a zero-depth entry ramp and splash area.

The Boardwalk is open daily, weather permitting, through Sept. 1, 2025.

Visit North American Animals at ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is an 11-acre, walk-through zoo that cares for more than 60 species from five regions of North America. Guests can see black bears, wolves, river otters, Canada lynx, elk and other animals native to this continent.

ZooAmerica is open daily this summer from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 1, 2025. To enhance a summer visit, guests can enjoy daily activities, like special animal enrichments, animal encounters and keeper chats, included with admission. 

Regular admission to ZooAmerica is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ are $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. Hersheypark tickets include ZooAmerica only when accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. The Zoo is the perfect place for families visiting Hersheypark to take a quick break from the thrills.

Hersheypark amusement park is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in May for Spring Weekends. Daily operations kick off on May 22, 2025. Hours vary by day.

Spring Weekends feature more than 50 rides, including the most coasters in the Northeast, weather and maintenance permitting. Guests can also attend meet and greets with Hershey Characters at the Chevrolet Music Box Theatre and Our Friends From The Sea shows inside the Aquatheatre.

Food Truck Fridays

Food Truck Fridays are returning to Hersheypark! Indulge in a variety of delicious meals on wheels on three flavorful Fridays this month. Food trucks will be set up in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark region across from Sandcastle Cove. Guests can enter the food truck area by 8 Cut Crust and East Coast Burger Works. 

Access to the food truck area inside the Park is included with a Season Pass or Hersheypark admission ticket. Food truck items are available for purchase. No additional discounts or dining plans are accepted.

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily in May for guests to enjoy the sun and fresh air while seeing North American animals, like gray wolves, black bears and river otters. 

The 11-acre zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 1-23, 2025, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 24-31, 2025.

Reminder: Hersheypark tickets include entry to ZooAmerica only by accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Those interested in visiting ZooAmerica in the morning before Hersheypark opens will have to purchase separate Zoo admission tickets online or at the Zoo Admissions Building.

Hersheypark Christmas Candylane

A holiday tradition for more than 40 years, Hersheypark Christmas Candylane opens to the public on select dates from Nov. 15, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2025, with daily operations starting Dec. 12 (closed Christmas Day). Hours vary by day.

The seasonal event features five million lights, select family rides and thrilling coasters, a new home for Santa and all nine of his reindeer, TREEville trail (opens Dec. 6) and festive Hershey Character Meet and Greet opportunities - all included with a ticket. Guests can also warm up with more hot chocolate varieties than ever, with signature hot chocolate, new boozy hot chocolate offerings and a hot chocolate bar with dessert toppers. One-of-a-kind sweet treats, including a new Kissmas TREEts Collectible snack container, are also available. 

• Most Lights in Pennsylvania: More than five million sparkling lights deck the halls of the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania in celebration of the season. The guest-favorite NOEL light show featuring dancing lights choreographed to Christmas music returns nightly at 5 p.m. in The Hollow region overlooking Spring Creek.
• Unique Ride Offerings: Guests can enjoy holiday thrills on seven coasters, including Wildcat’s Revenge hybrid coaster and Candymonium coaster with holiday light packages, Jolly Rancher Remix coaster with a holiday overlay and new cinnamon scent, sooperdooperLooper, Wild Mouse, Cocoa Cruiser coasters and the glowing Laff Trakk indoor coaster, which is decorated for the holidays with a large Christmas tree in the center. Weather permitting, family-friendly rides and holiday favorites are also available. Guests can take a ride on Dry Gulch Railroad attraction to see the 12 Days of Christmas and additional light displays or take in the lights from above on the Ferris Wheel and Hershey Triple Tower rides, both featuring holiday light packages. 
• Santa and All Nine Reindeer: For more than 25 years, Rudolph and his friends have made a special stop at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane. New this year, Santa and his reindeer will be in a themed location together, where guests can get their photo with Santa, enjoy an interactive experience with his elves and learn about the reindeer. Hersheypark is the only place in the Northeast with this magical experience featuring all nine of Santa’s reindeer.
• Hershey Characters Sweet Greets: Visitors can stop by the heated Chevrolet Music Box Theatre venue to meet their favorite Hershey Characters donning their coziest winter apparel and snap a photo. 
• TREEville Trail: Starting Dec. 6, guests can experience TREEville trail, a strolling holiday adventure experience in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark region with more than a dozen uniquely decorated trees sharing stories of The Sweetest Place On Earth. New this year, guests can see the 50-foot Kissmas Tree in this location - a sweet photo opportunity!
• Hot Chocolate and Seasonal Eats: Delicious seasonal offerings include the popular Hot Chocolate Bar and new King Size Shake flavors at Simply Chocolate dessert shop, and Holidogs hot dogs at Berks Hot Dog Stand. New this year, guests ages 21 and older can purchase boozy hot chocolate at a bar near the Santa and reindeer experiences. An all-new Kissmas TREEts Collectible sweets container featuring multiple layered compartments of handmade goodies like a Sugar Cookie Christmas Tree, Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies, Caramel Corn, Peppermint Bark and more is also available for purchase as a sweet souvenir. 

For the fourth consecutive year, Hersheypark Christmas Candylane has been nominated for Best Theme Park Holiday Event in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Award contest. Vote for us through Dec. 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Guests can save more than 45% on Christmas Candylane tickets online with the current Countdown to Candylane Pre-Sale through Nov. 15. The tickets purchased during the offer are valid through Jan. 1, 2025.

Hershey Sweet Lights Presented by PPL 

Just outside Hersheypark is the separately ticketed Hershey Sweet Lights presented by PPL drive-through attraction. Hershey Sweet Lights begins Nov. 15-17 and then is open nightly from Nov. 22 through Jan. 1, 2025; hours vary. 

From the comfort of their cars, guests can enjoy two miles of fields and wooded trails decorated with nearly 600 illuminated, animated displays, such as The 12 Days of Christmas, an Enchanted Forest and Hersheypark rides.  

New for 2024, Hershey Sweet Lights features three custom Hershey-themed displays depicting Wildcat’s Revenge hybrid coaster, Jolly Rancher Remix coaster and Hershey Bears hockey, as well as an all-new region inspired by the Northern Lights. Guests can also enjoy a new arrival experience with festive food and retail bundles for purchase, enhancements to the Victorian Village portion of the attraction, and a new Candy Cane Forest exit boasting uplit trees and light displays. 

Admission for a single car with up to 8 people ranges from $29.99 to $39.99 (varies by day) plus tax when purchased in advance online before 5 p.m. on the day of the visit. Admission for vans that seat 9-15 people is $52.15 plus tax. On-site pricing without a pre-purchased ticket is $49.15 plus tax. 

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, an 11-acre zoo that cares for more than 200 animals, is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). The holiday season is a great time to visit as many North American animals in the outdoor habitats, like the gray wolves, river otters and Canada Lynx, are more active when the temperature drops. ZooAmerica is included with a Hersheypark ticket only by accessing the Zoo through the Hersheypark bridge during Park hours. Separate Zoo tickets are available for purchase online.

Festive Dining Experiences at The Chocolatier

A Breakfast with Santa experience is available at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio on Saturdays and Sundays with select Fridays from Nov. 29 through Dec. 22 and Dec. 24 from 8-10 a.m. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with hints of chocolate, kids' activities and holiday family fun while seeing Santa and a few of his elves. Reservations are required.

Back by popular demand is Holiday Spirit’s Rooftop Bar at The Chocolatier starting Nov. 15 and operating on Christmas Candylane evenings. The festive patio event features spiked hot chocolate for guests ages 21 and older, over-the-top hot chocolate for kids, a Chocuterie board to make your own hot chocolate, a tabletop s’mores kit and more overlooking the Chocolatetown region. 

The Official Resorts of Hersheypark

Visitors looking to extend their stay in The Sweetest Place On Earth can book a holiday getaway at The Official Resorts of Hersheypark: The Hotel Hershey luxury accommodation, Hershey Lodge resort and Hersheypark Camping Resort campground.

Sports and Entertainment in Hershey

Do-It-Yourself Chocolate Treatment at Home

Can’t make it to Hershey, Pa., on World Chocolate Day? We’ve got you covered with this DIY Chocolate Mask. 

Ingredients needed:

•  ¹/₂ cup: HERSHEY'S Cocoa
• 2 bags: green tea
• 2 Tbsps: honey
• 2 Tbsps: plain yogurt

Steps:

• Step 1: Add honey to 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil.
• Step 2: Remove the honey mixture from the water and add the green tea bags. Set aside to steep for 10 minutes.
• Step 3: In a small bowl, mix the HERSHEY'S Cocoa and yogurt with a fork until combined.
• Step 4: Remove the tea bags from the honey-water mixture. Squeeze the bags to get all the liquid before discarding them.
• Step 5: Add the green tea mixture to the cocoa and yogurt, stirring to combine.

Hersheypark, an iconic 121-acre amusement park in Hershey, Pa., is open daily for the summer season through Sept. 2. Summer tickets include admission to three parks in one with more than 70 rides, an 11-acre water park and a North American Wildlife Park. 

The summer ride lineup features 15 mild to wild coasters, various family-friendly attractions and more than 20 kiddie rides spread throughout the Park. New for 2024, thrill seekers can enjoy new ride experiences on Skyrush and Comet. Plus, roller coaster lovers who didn't get a chance to visit last year can conquer Wildcat’s Revenge this summer. The 15th coaster and first hybrid at Hersheypark joined an iconic coaster collection when it opened in June 2023. Wildcat’s Revenge won the Amusement Today Golden Ticket Award for Best New Roller Coaster of 2023 and ranked #4 in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers Choice Awards for Best Roller Coaster in 2024.

2024 also marks the 50th anniversary of the Hershey Characters at Hersheypark. To celebrate this milestone, a new Character show will run from June 22 through Aug. 18., making it the first summer entertainment offering in Chevrolet Music Box Theatre since 2019.  Other entertainment offerings included with a ticket include daily Hershey Character meet and greets and Our Friends From The Sea shows. A Season Pass is the best value for people planning to spend more than three days at the Park. A Bite Size Season Pass is essentially a three-day ticket with 50 percent off parking, while Full Size and King Size Season Passes include free parking and additional perks like 1-hour early access and discounts on food, beverage and retail.

Make a Splash at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark

Included with a Hersheypark ticket, Park-goers can beat the summer heat by cooling off at The Boardwalk, a water park inside Hersheypark with one million gallons of water and 16 water attractions. Guests can shoot through one of six water slides at Coastline Plunge, take a ride on Breakers Edge water coaster, float down a lazy river, catch a wave in the 378,000-gallon wave pool, play with 600 interactive water features in East Coast Waterworks or race friends on Whitecap Racer.

Families with young children can splash and play all day at three kiddie attractions in the water park. Sandcastle Cove features water slides, cannons, water curtains, jets, and a pool that reaches depths of 18 inches. Shoreline Sprayground is a water playground with misters, bubblers, dancing fountains, spraying jets, water curtains and a drenching tipping bucket. Bayside Pier is a great attraction for the youngest guests, with a zero-depth entry ramp and splash area.

Visit Animals at ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is an 11-acre, walk-through zoo that cares for more than 200 animals representing over 60 species from five regions of North America. Guests can see black bears, wolves, river otters, Canada lynx, elk, an American alligator, an ocelot and many other animals native to this continent.

ZooAmerica is open daily this summer from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 2. Regular admission to ZooAmerica is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ are $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. Hersheypark tickets include ZooAmerica only when accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Some popular attractions are also celebrating milestone anniversaries this year, including 50 years of the family-friendly Trailblazer coaster, 25 years of the Wild Mouse and Music Express attractions, and 15 years since the “Seaquel” expansion at The Boardwalk added the wave pool, lazy river and cabanas.

This summer, the Hersheypark culinary team has whipped up some delectable savory offerings - from Nashville Hot Chicken Garlic Knots and Flatbread at Dispatch pizzeria to a rotating burger of the month at East Coast Burger Works location and three coaster dogs at the Berks stand. Anyone who didn't visit during Spring Weekends has to swing by Simply Chocolate to try one of the four new King Size Shake flavors for a sweet treat. 

In Hershey's Chocolatetown, The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is open daily this summer (hours vary) for guests with or without a Hersheypark ticket to enjoy lunch or dinner. New seasonal favorites include a Sticky Rib "Basket," Peach and Prosciutto Flatbread, Strawberry Milkshake and Mini Martini Flight. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Milton's Ice Cream Parlor and The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen are also open daily for 100% local dairy house-made ice cream, new sandwiches and decadent chocolate desserts.

The Boardwalk Water Park

Speaking of The Boardwalk, did you know Hersheypark is home to an 11-acre water park with one million gallons of water? It is open daily from May 25 through Sept. 2, 2024, for Hersheypark guests looking to cool off on a hot summer day.

The water park features 16 water attractions, including a lazy river, wave pool, water slides and splash areas of varying depths. One of the most popular water attractions is East Coast Waterworks, modeled after the iconic boardwalks along the East Coast and offering more than 600 interactive water features alone. The biggest splash comes from a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket. If that is not enough thrill, water park visitors can race on Whitecap Racer mat racing slide, one of the longest in the world, and rocket through hills, tunnels and turns on Breakers Edge HydroMAGNETIC water coaster.

ZooAmerica

Park-goers can take a break from the thrills by visiting ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park to see dozens of animals native to North America, from black bears to river otters and Canada lynx. ZooAmerica is included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark only when accessed through the Hersheypark bridge during posted Park hours. 

Guests interested in visiting ZooAmerica before the Park opens must purchase separate Zoo tickets. Regular admission for guests ages 9-61 is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Admission for juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ is $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free. ZooAmerica Pass Holders can enjoy unlimited year-round visits to the Zoo, and 2024 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders get into the Zoo for free, too.

Visit Hersheypark All Summer Long

Great ticket offers are available on Hersheypark.com, but with so much Hersheypark Happy to be had, why not visit all summer long?

The all-new Summer Fun Card, available online for $114 plus taxes and fees, allows guests to enjoy unlimited visits to Hersheypark through Sept. 8. A limited number are available, so guests are encouraged to buy now. 

It is also the final chance to save on 2024 Season Passes for unlimited visits all year. Season Passes are on sale with a four-month payment plan option through May 27.

Enjoy the First Coaster Rides of the Season at Hersheypark

Hersheypark amusement park kicks off its 118th season on March 29, its earliest opening to date, with new coaster riding experiences and endless family fun during Spring weekends. Weather permitting, guests visiting throughout Easter weekend will have the first chance to enjoy new ride experiences on Comet roller coaster and Skyrush roller coaster. Comet, the oldest continuously operating coaster at Hersheypark, features a new out-of-this-world design and new trains, while Skyrush is upgrading its flight to first class with all-new seats and restraints for spring. 

The 2024 operating year marks milestone anniversaries for 12 family-friendly rides, roller coasters and water attractions at Hersheypark, including Trailblazer celebrating 50 years, Tidal Force celebrating 30 years and Storm Runner celebrating 20 years. 

Tickets also include photo opportunities with Hershey Characters and visits to ZooAmerica when accessing the zoo from inside Hersheypark during posted park hours.

Hersheypark will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31. All rides are weather permitting, and a reminder that the water park doesn’t open until Memorial Day weekend.

Spend Your Easter Getaway at a Hershey Resort

The fan-favorite Disney On Ice: Into the Magic skates into GIANT Center with matinee and evening performances throughout Easter weekend. Hosts Mickey and Minnie will bring audiences on an expedition across raging seas, snow-covered mountains and the marigold bridge in this action-packed extravaganza. The show features beloved characters from Disney's “Moana,” “Frozen,” “Coco,” “Beauty and the Beast" and more. 

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday, March 29; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 30; and 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, March 31.

There's a new bunny in town at Hershey's Chocolate World! Get in the springtime spirit with special activities over Easter weekend, including a visit with the all-new Reester Bunny, inspired by the beloved Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. 

The Reester Bunny is available for photos on select dates through Easter, including Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Guests can also enjoy a free chocolate tour ride to see how cocoa beans became world-famous Hershey's Chocolate or take home a sweet souvenir by shopping the endless amounts of chocolate and limited-edition treats. Additional paid attraction experiences, including a chocolate bar-making factory and chocolate tasting theatrical experience, are also offered.

Easter Sunrise Service and Spring Blooms at Hershey Gardens

Welcome Easter by attending a free non-denominational service by the Hershey Ministerium at Hershey Gardens from 6:30-8 a.m. on Easter morning. There is no admission fee before 8 a.m.

Guests can also enjoy early spring blooms on display throughout the 23-acre walk-through botanical display garden. And don't forget about the indoor, tropical Butterfly Atrium featuring hundreds of butterflies from around the world! Hershey Gardens is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Easter weekend.

Easter-Themed Chocolate Labs at The Hershey Story Museum 

A visit to The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue, is a great way to learn about the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, the town he created and the lives he touched. Guests visiting on Easter weekend can enjoy 45-minute Easter-themed Chocolate Lab classes at the museum, which explore the distinctive qualities of chocolate through playful, hands-on experiences and interactive demonstrations. During the classes, guests can try their hand at chocolate pouring and decorating and, of course, taste their take-home chocolate creations. Classes offered throughout the weekend include Egg-citing Chocolate Bark, Chocolate Bird Nests, Marshmallow Bunny Tails and Spring Bar.

Chocolate Lab tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased at The Hershey Story admissions desk on the day of your visit.
