Three Reasons to Visit the Zoo This Month
Looking for a family-friendly outing to beat cabin fever? ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in February, and it’s an extra sweet month to visit. Find out why below.
1. Fantastic Fridays
Guests can enjoy 50% off regular and junior/senior admission to ZooAmerica every Friday in February with the Fantastic Fridays ticket offer. Tickets must be purchased at the Admissions Building to redeem the savings; please note the offer is not valid online.
ZooAmerica Pass Holders and 2022 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders receive unlimited, year-round visits to the zoo, even when Hersheypark is closed during the off-season.
2. Chocolate-Covered Treats
Also this month, zoo staff will host chocolate-themed animal enrichment activities on Saturdays. Guests can watch the zoo naturalists give chocolate-themed treats to certain animals every Saturday in February at 1 p.m. Each weekend will feature a different animal*.

3. Animals Most Active
Many of the animals that reside outdoors in the zoo are often more active this time of year. Guests often see the gray wolves running around their habitat, hear the river otters "talking" to each other and so much more.
