Season Pass Holder Guide to Hersheypark Spring Weekends 2024

The 2024 Hersheypark season is almost here, and we can’t wait to kick off our Spring Weekends on March 29, 2024! It's time to get back into the SPRING of things by visiting Hersheypark for eight fun-filled weekends of rides, coasters, Hershey Characters, ZooAmerica visits and so much more.

We know our Season Pass Holders have been counting down the days until they are back at their happy place, so we’ve created a guide with some tips and reminders for our most loyal guests to prepare for their spring visits.

Pass Holder Tip #1 - Pick up your physical Season Pass ID early for easy access and scanning

Ticketing Services is open daily to get your photo taken before your first visit of the year.  Don’t forget that if you renewed a 2023 pass of the same tier and still have your season pass card, you don’t need a new photo.

• Head to the Hersheypark parking lot at 100 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, Pa.
• Look for the parking booth with a green checkmark.
  • Giant/King/Full Size Season Pass Pass Holders - if the park is open, show your confirmation email to the parking attendant for free parking and park in the Season Pass lot when space is available. 
  • Bite Size Season Pass Holders - purchase a parking voucher through the Self-Service Account before visiting. When you arrive, please show it to the parking attendant and park in the general parking lot.
• Bring your confirmation email, printed or on your phone, to Ticketing Services to have your picture taken and Pass printed.

Tip: Season Passes can be added to your digital wallet on your phone when you log in to your Self-Service Account.

Pass Holder Tip #2 - Welcome Bag and/or Pass Holder Drink Cup

Giant Size and King Size Season Pass Holders can pick up their welcome bag with drink cup at Ticketing Services, open 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Full Size and Bite Size Season Pass Holders who purchased an All-Season Drink Cup can pick up their cup at Ticketing Services in addition to the HPGO building and Guest Services when the Park is open. 

Pass Holder Tip #3 - Plan your Park day before leaving home

• Hersheypark is open for Spring Weekends from March 29 - May 19. 
  • Check our calendar for exact dates and hours, as we are open on Good Friday and Fridays in May. 
• Make plans to stop at your favorite in-Park dining locations - don’t forget that the Season Pass Holder dining plans begin March 29 and run through September 8. 
• To create more convenient retail and dining experiences for our guests, Hersheypark is cashless. All major debit and credit cards, Hersheypark gift cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay will be accepted. 
  • In place of cash, consider purchasing an e-gift card before your Park visit. If you only have cash at the time of your Park visit, please visit one of our Cash-To-Card kiosks located throughout the Park to convert cash to prepaid debit cards at no fee. Prepaid cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. They cannot be reloaded or refunded.

Reminder: Sweet Start is not offered during spring. It is offered exclusively for Giant, King and Full Size Season Pass Holders and guests at The Official Resorts of Hersheypark starting May 23 and ending September 8. 

Pass Holder Tip #4 - Redeem your Pre-K Pass Perk

As a Full, King or Giant Size Season Pass Holder, take advantage of the new FREE Pre-K Pass perk, available for children in your family, under five years old, born on or after July 1, 2019. It’s a FREE Pass to Hersheypark Happy for our youngest guests! They will get unlimited visits to Hersheypark and ZooAmerica all year long, plus 1-hour early Sweet Start access during the summer season. See the steps below for how to redeem: 

1. Log in to your Self-Service Account to claim the Pre-K voucher within the ‘Benefits’ section of the account. Note: One free Pre-K Pass is available with each Full and King Size Season Pass and two free Pre-K Passes are available with each Giant Size Season Pass. 
2. Visit Ticketing Services, located just outside the main gate of Hersheypark, to activate and receive your printed Pre-K Pass. Remember to bring your Pre-K voucher, your Pre-K child, and a government-issued birth certificate or passport showing the child’s date of birth (must be born after July 1, 2019). Note: this must be completed by August 31, 2024. Children 2 and under are eligible to redeem a Pre-K voucher but are not required to have an admission ticket for entry.

Pass Holder Tip #5 - Activate or Reactivate Gaming Cards

For the 2024 season, Season Pass Holders receive a 15 percent discount at redemption across all games, including arcades and skill games, when they purchase and activate a gaming card.

Season Pass Holders who had a games card in 2023 will need to speak with a team member at Playdome Arcade or Overlook Arcade to complete a one-time re-activation on their game card to receive the 15 percent discount across all games, even if they activated the discount last year. Please bring the same game card to re-activate. 

Pass Holder Tip #6 - Use your Season Pass Holder Rewards

Full Size and King Size Season Pass Holders enjoy special monthly discounts, offers and sweet rewards throughout the year, as listed in the Season Pass Rewards Calendar. As a reminder, when redeeming your monthly rewards at Hersheypark, eligible Season Pass Holders can show their Pass at the locations and simply scan to redeem.  Bring-A-Friend tickets for King Size and Giant Size Pass Holders will be redeemable in your Self-Service Account by March 29. 

Did you know? Pass Holders can show their Pass for discounts around town, including unlimited visits to ZooAmerica, 10 percent off all Dining in Hershey locations, 15 percent off dining and shopping at Hershey’s Chocolate World, discounts at MeltSpa by Hershey and The Spa At The Hotel Hershey on select days, and more.

Pass Holder Tip #7 - Understand Your Season Pass Add-Ons

• Once-A-Day All-Summer Dining Plan
  • Enjoy one entrée and side once a day at select locations. Drinks are not included. See options and locations here. The Once-A-Day dining plan is available for use from March 29 through September 8. If your Pass was not scanned at the Front Gate for admission, no plans or discounts can be processed. 
• Twice-A-Day All-Summer Dining Plan
  • Enjoy two meals per day at select locations. Each meal includes one entrée and one side. Drinks are not included. See options and locations here. You must wait 180 minutes in between both uses. The All-Summer Dining Plan is available for use from March 29 through September 8. If your Pass was not scanned at the Front Gate for admission, no plans or discounts can be processed. 
• All-Year Drink Plan
  • Receive free refills every 10 minutes at any restaurant with fountain soda or any Pepsi Fast Fill location. Disposable cups will be given at any restaurant with a soda tower. To use our Pepsi Fast Fills, you must scan your Pass and use your own cup. 
  • Giant Size and King Size Season Pass Holders receive their All-Year Drink cup in their Welcome Bag at Ticketing Services. Bite Size or Full Size Pass Holders who purchased the Season Pass cup separately can pick up their cup at Guest Services inside the front gate, Ticketing Services or HPGO when we open for the season. 
• Season Pass All-Year Fast Track
  • Receive one Fast Track Unlimited each visit and skip the regular line on participating attractions all year long. Limited quantities are available. NEW this year, the All-Year Fast Track includes Dark Nights houses.
• Season Pass All-Year Photo Pass
  • Take home the fun all year long with a Season Pass Holder All-Year Photo Pass. The Pass includes an online album with digital access to share and download your ride and photographer photos taken inside Hersheypark.
• Season Pass 2024 All-Year Hershey Gardens and The Hershey Story Museum Plan
  • Enjoy unlimited free admission to The Hershey Story Museum Experience and Hershey Gardens all year.

Giant Size Pass Holders Know-Before-You-Go

• FREE Single-Use Fast Track Each Day 
  • Giant Size Season Pass Holders get a single-use, single-ride Fast Track each day you visit. Fast Track must be redeemed at an HPGO kiosk inside Hersheypark. Your Giant Size Season Pass must be scanned at the front gate. 
• Discounts on Fast Track and Fast Track Unlimited Up To 50 Percent Off: 1 Per Day 
  • Save up to 50 percent when purchasing All-Day Fast Tracks at HPGO kiosks in Hersheypark. The discount varies by day. Fast Track cannot be purchased in advance online. 
• Access To Exclusive Giant Size Pass Holder Lounge 
  • Giant Size Season Pass Holders can access this exclusive space within Hersheypark with indoor and outdoor seating, heating and air conditioning, charging stations and unlimited drink refills. The Giant Size lounge is located in The Boardwalk near the Ferris Wheel. 
• Three FREE Snack Vouchers
  • Giant Size Season Pass Holders receive three single-use snack vouchers valid any time during the 2024 public operating season for either one fountain beverage, one regular ice cream cone, one regular French fry or one bottled water from any dining location inside the Park, except at Milton's Ice Cream Parlor, The Chocolatier Restaurant Bar + Patio, Chick-fil-A and Chickie's & Pete's.
  • The snack voucher is loaded on your Season Pass as an entitlement, so all you have to do is scan your Pass at the eligible locations. Please note that your Season Pass must be scanned at the front gate for entry in order to redeem the snack voucher.
